I decided to try this place after seeing that it opened up not too long ago and it is a new Korean corn dog place on this side of town. The prices here are reasonable for the corn dogs and the lady at the register is super nice. The food itself came out quickly and there were a few sauces to choose from. I will say that I am a little disappointed that there was no sweet chili sauce since it's my favorite sauce to eat with Korean corn dogs. The Momo sauce was good and unique I enjoyed it. The corn dog itself was nice and crunchy and the dough was chewy which is a plus. There was a large dough to cheese ratio which is up to personal preference. The restaraunt was clean and there was a decent amount of seating inside. Overall, I would come back if I'm craving Korean corn dogs and don't want to drive to Chinatown! read more

The food was amazing! My niece really wanted to try this place, so we stopped in to Momo Hotdog. We ordered a dog/cheese convo with potato on the outside. It took a lot longer than expected for it to be ready, but it was well worth the wait. It was so fresh and cooked perfectly! I was a little thrown off by the sugar they sprinkle on the outside of the dog, but it was still great. Personally though, I'd order it without the sugar next time. Some of my classmates in my cohort wanted to come here for lunch today and I'm glad that I didn't miss out. She told me that this place is very new and that it's very much worth to try, even though I've tried plenty of Korean corn dog locations in town. I don't remember any other place that has sweet potatoes as an addition, BUT THIS PLACE DOES AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!! I got the mozzarella and hotdog with sweet potatoes on it. Momo has always been pretty decent with their boba, and since they added their chicken to the menu, we've been going back due to the consistency in flavor, crisp, and golden-brown color. I'm not sure what happened in the past month, but tonight was not the night. Daughter and I ordered 2 Milk Teas WITH Boba, and 2 Chicken tender combos to-go. We waited about 20 min for our drinks and food - that's fine. However, as we were leaving in the car and had our first sip, we noticed there wasn't any boba in our drinks. We turned around and spoke to the cashier, who then told us "sorry we're out of boba". That is something that would have been nice to know while we were ordering - not after the fact while we're driving away. THEN, we got home and opened the boxes of chicken tenders. We were expecting the usual crisp fries, and crisp, crunchy tenders. We got neither. If you notice previous photos of their chicken tenders, you can see what I mean by the color of their tenders. I hesitated to give this place three stars because the cashier was exemplary for the Vegas area. She was friendly and welcoming without the quirky cheerleader phoniness common in theme restaurants. In spite of her heavy Spanish accent, she explained the menu items and the ordering process quite well. She warned that it was going to be a 40 minute wait because they just accepted a large group order. I was in no rush so I went ahead and ordered. Cashier made sure I was seated comfortably. The dining area was clean and uncluttered. Far sooner than expected, my katsu curry meal was served along with the 10-piece fried chicken takeaway. The curry appeared made from scratch as I could see the puréed carrots. A little light on the curry flavor but still delicious. The chicken katsu was moist but you could barely appreciate any crispness due to the soggy rice. I don't mind the curry sauce contributing to the sogginess but clearly, it was from the wetter-than-usual, steaming-hot rice upon which the katsu was plated. On the plate was a nice coleslaw. But coleslaw? Ok, I'll play. Buttt!! here's the head scratcher, DILL pickle slices. On an Asian dish? It's a hot dog place, too--perhaps three slices went rogue and jumped into my dish? Perhaps they ran out of what was replaced with the pickles? Pssst...there's an Asian store steps away. Oh well. Now to the fried chicken. Huge drumsticks. Could have been a great tasting coating. Here's the problem: slightly overdone. Oil tasted burnt. Could it be because of the huge order before mine? So family got a piece each but no one got seconds. Just doesn't happen in this household with fried chicken unless we all came down with Covid and our tastebuds were fried. I'm going to cut them some slack and say this is a one-off because of the big order. Rice can be improved. Adjust water:rice ratio? Not necessarily a vibe killer, but it would be beneficial for the food types to be labeled especially when giving the order to the consumer. They use HALF A HOT DOG. The top inside is all cheese or empty (depending if you order cheese), and you have to eat the toppings until halfway until you reach the pitiful half of a full dog inside. I think I was expecting more flavor than what I got. I had a mozzarella and cheddar cheese stick, with potato crust (which is just bits of French fries.) I thought it would taste more like a corn dog, but the crust is very sweet, almost like a big churro. At $15, that's a big ask for a bit of deep fried cheese, fries and a drink. It is doused with sugar. The spicy sauce is no where to be found. There was barely any cheese. I called the establishment and spoke to a young lady who was clearly not comfortable dealing with customer service issues. We finally tried this establishment after looking at the positive reviews. We were greeted warmly and even though closing time was in twenty minutes, we stated we were willing to return at a better time for them. The counter staff asked the chef if we could place our order and like a good eatery, the chef said yes! We have been to other places at least thirty minutes before closing time and have been refused service so that's what we were expecting this time. When a business is open until a certain time, it's customary to serve anyone who comes in prior to closing time. Las Vegas is definitely not a customer friendly town sometimes! Needless to say, the customer service was outstanding here - from entering to leaving with our food. The food was not only aesthetically pleasing, but the serving sizes were ample. The chicken tender meal with coleslaw and fries was incredible. The chicken was moist, well-seasoned, had a light, crispy crust and were outstanding all around. The all-beef corn dog & mozzarella and beef corn dog with fries were amazing, as well. We will be back and look forward to trying what their menu has to offer.
