A casual spot with plenty of seating and a friendly staff, but the food unfortunately missed the mark. Taco Quality: The flavors were a 2/5 overall. The Al Pastor was burnt, and the fish tacos were heavily deep-fried. The beef hard shell taco did not stand out. Salsa Bar: They have a self-serve station with red, green, and a creamy green salsa. Specials: They offer daily specials.

The food was OK, but it wasn't that extraordinary for the price!

This was my first time eating here today. The lady at the register seemed, as if she had an issue with me. She even said something to her coworker in Spanish, which I can also understand that was disgraceful. Every time I communicate with her, she would never look me in the eyes, when I would say thank you she wouldn't say anything. I dined in, when it was time to get my food, she called me to the register to get it. The food is overpriced, for a decent taste. A Latino lady came in, and she was thanking her smiling laughing. When her food was done, she actually brought it out to her at her table. Which she didn't do with me, or another Caucasian couple that was there with me. I totally feel discriminated against, and I will not be back, also I will be contacting corporate.!!!

The way it looks inside

The food is really good try it out for the 1st time and it's our new favorite spot and the best park close by our house I really recommend this place and the people here are super nice they have a variety of food

Carnitas and al pastor

Mediocre. Food was good but nothing special. Taco Tuesday special is discounted al pastor and carnitas but asada is still full price. I got two of each. Service was good and fast. I got four house sauces. Green was the best. Carnitas and al pastor tacos werery good. Asada was ok. Meat portions are good. Place is nice and clean.

Super bomb tacos. We had carne asada, quesadilla Birria, and pastor tacos. All had great flavor and wasn't dried out meat.

Shop smelled like sewer and the lady taking your order was rude. Walked out. Sad because we were expected to have something close open up.

I ordered my coffee, and they brought out my own french press, creamer, and sugar. My fiancée had a fresh orange juice. Our waitress was very attentive, and all our food was perfect! I ordered the corn beef and hash, and a side of bacon. Funny enough a couple next to me asked how their bacon was here, and i told them order it cause its always nice and crispy big slices! My fiancée ordered the chicken and waffles! Their chicken and waffles are his favorite cause they are kimchi waffles, however not too spicy so good for breakfast after a night out. We tried their garlic fries today and they were so addictive I have been coming here for years, and they never disappoint me. Also if you are looking for bottomless mimosas they never miss. They bring you a tray a of juices, and a bottle of champagne so you can make your own perfect little drinks!

Our enthusiasm diminished pretty quickly with our appetizer of little cinnamon rolls. We all agreed, they were not good. A few of us ordered fish and chips and most agreed, a better version could be had at a local pub here in Vegas. One of us had short rib cheesesteak and that dish was ok. The service was friendly but not helpful and the restaurant is small but cozy. I would not return based on the food, service and value.

A friend recommended we stop here for breakfast or lunch on our way to Zion, Utah. We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

Stopped by for a quick brunch since we were in the downtown area. The restaurant was full so we had…read moreto wait for about 20 minutes before being seated. It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

Bacon Nation slaps slices on just about everything but French toast, and even that can be topped with bacon butter and bacon-infused syrup. The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. It's a massive meal and I feel like the waitress could have positioned me on all fours in front of a feeding trough in order to graze on it. Bacon Nation is located on the D's second floor inside a very clean and bright dining room with lots of booths, a counter, and an ultra-pleasant hostess named Angel. In summary, a well-earned 5 oink review is deserving because their food is that darn good. "Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives.
