The burgers an fries were top tier. They were grilled just right not greasy at all. The fries were well seasoned and were not greasy neither. The service was great as well. It didn't take long for the food to be done. The Ambiance reminds me of an old school burger joint which is very nostalgic. I will be back definitely. read more

Honestly o have eaten at several locations and it's always the same. Mediocre food at obscene prices! Three burgers three drinks and one fry should not be over 50 dollars at a fast food place!! It's overpriced burgers and fries. Nothing spectacular about them. I last ate at a 5Guys over a decade ago, and I eat burgers every week. The burgers are good, they are messy and you can choose your toppings. I had a little burger (because I wanted a single patty) with tomato, pickles, grilled mushroom and onions, mustard and mayo, and lettuce and a little fry. We also ordered another little with basic trim and a double cheeseburger with basic trims and a large fry. It was made fresh and hot and good, but not worth 32$ for three burgers and two fries and one drink. Side note... there isn't a Kids meal. And the burger can be quite large for a small child. Five Guys burgers used to be better than what they are now? It seems I am sensing a trend in several burger establishments largely, the trend towards overcooking the meat in the burgers. Just to test this, I brought my own meat thermometer. My burger today was at 178°F. By any standard that is way overcooked. The burger is no longer juicy at that point. In my book that is cooked to fuck! I hope owners read this to retrain cooking staff. Burger needs heat until 160°F or 155°F for self-ground beef. Carry over heat is a reality of physics. A burger cooked to 160°F might reach a temperature of 165°F after resting. read more

Made a stop here with a team of 24. The guy at the register was cool and calm and took everyone's order efficiently. Food came out promptly, and everyone's order was correct. That can be a hard thing to do with that many people at one time. Everyone enjoyed their burgers. The dining area was clean, and restrooms were clean and stocked (super important for a large group). Burger: Almost to die for. I love mushrooms, but these are not sauteed well. I took them off and it was still one of the best burgers I've ever had! The fries: A "small" is enough for 2-3 people. They are fresh, crispy, with potato skin on, hot, and perfectly salted. Employees: Friendly, helpful and upbeat. I love that they helped us order the right size of fries -- otherwise a lot would have been wasted. I'll be making several trips to the area over the next two years and this is my new spot for a burger. It's my In-N-Out (but really, I might be thinking it's even better than In-N-Out) of the South. Air-conditioner inside works great and they also have about four tables (which, now that I think about it are much like In-N-Out's -- I wonder if they are cousins...) outside. One has an umbrella -- I wish the umbrellas were larger and offered more shade. We had to sit outside so our dog didn't die in the truck and it was blazing hot. I am definitely a big fan! read more

Im waiting in line for about 8-10 min and I go up to get it it's only a burger so I ask the guy do fries not come with it? He says no. So I paid for a burger an drink for $14 an fries don't come with it. What a shame! Will NOT be going back! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!! They will overcharge you!! As with most businesses that see a sharp decline in quality there is rarely a leader visible. I've tried to leave some "constructive feedback " 3 times and never seen a manager. The place is a wreck, today waited 20 minutes for 2 burgers and it wasn't that busy. Worst of all the consistency of the food is wavering. If I didn't already love the chain this would be a 1 star stay away spot. Go to Ridgeland location. read more
