So the other day I decied to try this burger place as I am a big fan of burgers :P So upon walking in I see it has a very small dinning room not much place for one to sit if you wanna be alone eating but sitting that aside the service was pretty promted and the guy behind the counter was friendly as I explaned I have never been here before. The fries at Jack in the Box are way better. Both In-n-Out and The Habit have this place beat by miles. The buns seem store bought and were not even warm. The meat was overcooked, and the fries were burnt. Way overpriced, loud employees, music way too loud and food served in a bag even tho you are dining in. They are definitely overpriced!! We ordered 2 double bacon cheeseburgers, large fries, and a drink for $25! Are you kidding me? We could've had the same order at In-N-Out for maybe $12 and I honesly like In-N-Out burgers better. The burger... it was juicy but... The bun is average grocery store bought, the cheese was too much and not melted, the grilled onions were NOT good and the mushroom came from a can!!! Just nasty! The fries... they were good but I wouldn't say the best. They're thick cut and not well cooked. Nothing like the animal style burgers at In-N-Out and we paid WAYYY too much!! Where do I begin with Five Guys?? The first time I came here, I was almost overwhelmed with everything. The aesthetic, the (awesome) music, the menu, the peanuts, even the soda machine had me in awe! The cashiers are always pretty helpful, and the food is fantastic! Fries for days, I'm telling you! Not to mention, there's cork boards with crayons and index cards for guests to draw or write messages and pin them up for everyone to see! What a cool idea (my only gripe is that the crayons that are available are usually limited in color options and extremely worn down)! Great place to eat and relax! Decided to try out the food through Uber eats got the Cajun style fries and bacon cheese burger. I received my food around 1:30 pm and everything tasted great and I went about my day. Later the same night I started feeling "weird" I brushed it off and went to sleep. At 2:30am the next morning I woke up and wanted to vomit so bad, when I did sure enough there was the food undigested and most likely the cause of me feeling sick. Don't know what the heck happened but I was REALLY disappointed that the food made me sick. read more

Honestly worst costumer service I've ever had i work in customer service and I'm not the type to expect wow crazy service but just normal manners. So i called to place an order and it was kinda big because i had a few people to order for, the person on the phone was so rude and made me feel rushed and uncomfortable. I even gave the store a chance to make it right, i asked to speak to a manager to just let them know hey i called and the person answering the phone was being rude the guy then proceeds to interrupt and says i wasn't being rude. I was just letting them know as a person that manages customer service employees that that is no way to treat any customer i wasn't asking for anything free i just wanted to be treated properly. My bacon cheeseburger and fries were very delicious, but way over priced! I enjoyed eating the free peanuts. It helped ease the pain from the cost of my burger and fries. I had to wait quite awhile for my order. It took about 20 minutes. The customer service was okay, but the employees were pretty loud. laughing, talking about personal business and singing to the music, which plays over the loud speaker. It was way to noisy for me. This is my family's favorite Five Guys location. We've been here several times, and the food is always great. We did get a wrong order once, but it was absolutely no hassle to get it remade. The employees are so wonderful here, especially the tall guy (if you've seen him, you know who I'm talking about). They greet us upon entering, leaving, and they have never failed to walk by us and ask if we need anything else when they clean out on the floor. I asked for a burger with everything EXCEPT 3 things on the menu even my receipt reiterated the order and I get a burger with everything Including the 3 I didnt want. I go up to the order taker/manager Junior and he proceeds to tell me that the way the ticket is written means I wanted those 3 items...if that was the case why was everything else still on the the burger and not just the 3 wrongs(logic doesn't make sense) I asked him if he expected me to pick it out of the mushed bun and he just stared at me. I sat back down w/my husband and told him what happened and then the employee lied and said he asked me if I wanted it remade! A Bold Face Lie...as we walked out the door in a sarcastic tone and only to us he says to only us he Hope's we have a better night! I came to Five Guys tonight and was completely disappointed. There was a guy on the grill who was very rude. My girlfriend ordered a grilled cheese and asked for grilled pickles and his response was, "I really don't want to do it, but I will." I'm not one to complain, but it was disrespectful. Great spot to grab a burger before a movie. This location was exceptionally clean, and the staff were very nice. This was surprising because we literally walked in just minutes before they were closing. The cook gladly cooked up a few more burgers, and even suggested making some into doubles. The guy cleaning the lobby kindly asked if his cleaning would bother us, and seemed happy to wait if we had wanted him to. The burger was awesome, and the fries were hot, fresh, and in an abundance. I usually always LOVE going into five guys, to my standards, they make amazing burgers! However, I had never gone into this location until today. And I'll be honest, I wasn't happy AT ALL. I walk up to the menu and greet the worker, Kristin (her name was on my receipt, and I asked other workers to confirm it was indeed, her name). She immediately rolled her eyes, and asked "What do you want?" I ordered my little cheeseburger, and then immediately before finishing the word "cheeseburger", she cut me off, asking "What do you want on it?" I paused, and looked at her confused as to why she said it with such a rude tone, I looked around to see if maybe something around her maybe "ticked her off"... there seemed to be nothing other than me and my sister standing trying to order. After ordering my toppings, I paid and sat down to wait for my food. Kristin (still the worker who was rude, and took my order) walked to the other workers who were cooking, and spoke to one of other girls, and they both looked at me, laughed and shook their head. And they both kept laughing every time they'd look at me, and whisper something to each other, and then started to tell other workers something, and at that point all the workers would just look over at me, and laugh. The service was decent, and the fries were ok- I like the option for the cajun style, but the portions are a little off- way too big for one person on the fries, and the burger I had was a bit dry. I have heard so much about this place so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the little hamburger with a small fry. The hamburger was very fresh and was pretty good. But the fires were not so great! They were soggy. I hate soggy fries. I like the fact the fries were hot but they were undercooked. My other issue with Five Guys is the price. I paid almost $5 for a hamburger with no cheese! But I love the online ordering. It is super easy and your food is ready when you get there. As someone who has spent the last 10 years living abroad, I have not had the opportunity to eat at a Five guys before. My first experience left a great first impression. The food is incredible. It has been a long time since I have been able to get a quality burger and fries. The customer service here was awesome. overall experience was okay. I walked in and the floors were covered in peanut shells and scraps most of the tables were dirty, I ended up cleaning my own table. Workers were very friendly and walked me through the ordering process. Kinda expensive for a little burger , little fries and small drink was a little over $11.00. I love the drink machine its pretty cool that you can so many options. So I'm waiting for my food for like 15-20 minutes watching people come and go and start to think that I maybe didn't hear my # called so I go to them and they forgot or just didn't process my order, that sucks. They say they will make it soon. 5 minutes later the manager calls me up to get my order and says that its on the house they credited back my debit card. That was nice. Friends keep telling me that they love Five Guys Burger and Fries...more like five guys ripping you off. What a lot of money for a crappy cheeseburger. They use cheap iceberg lettuce, the meat is nothing to write home about, and the cheese is out of a plastic wrapper and slapped on after the burger is cooked, and the "grilled" onions were hardly grilled, they were lucky if translucent. The place is great. Love their burgers but the only concern was that being my first time I was never told fries are cooked with peanut oil and gave my son fries and his allergic to peanuts. The Best Burgers In El Cajon! Two thumbs up!

I was in El Cajon at Parkway Plaza and decided to try this restaurant. Burgers are ok nothing special there burger remind me to Wendy's but way more expensive!! The service was good but for two adults and two kids it was super expensive$$ this was only 2 burgers 2 hot dogs 2 drinks 2 fries bill was $40!! I don't mind paying but this burgers are just regular burgers nothing out of the ordinary. Also if you have kids they don't offer any kids sides so you have to buy a regular hot dog or burger. This location is laid out like a subway. When you walk in you see the prep and cooking station directly in front of you. Kids love it. The burgers at this location seems soggier than at the one I usually go to in hillcrest. The wait wasn't too long and they had their ducks in a row so no mess ups on the order.
