Burgers are cooked well and the fries are seasoned I dont recommend going at lunch time or weekend

I ordered online and pick up in 13 min. The app said ready in 7-12 min. When I went in , nothing was on the pick up area. I didn't get any notification on the app saying it's ready and I just waited. Then other customers came in and told them their order name. So I did and they couldn't pronounce my name and couldn't find my burger for a while. After I got home, there was a pile of oil or something on the bottom of the bag which leaked through to my car!! There were no napkins inside the bag! it was just a mess! I originally suggested that we should go to In-N-Out but instead I was directed to five guys because I heard about what awesome fries they have. I was pretty hungry, so I'm sure the food tasted much better than it was but I do remember that the fries were just a little bit too spicy and a little bit too seasoned. Normally something I wouldn't complain about, but if it's over the top, I'm not pressed. Also as someone who has peanut allergies in the family, I couldn't imagine taking my family there as everything is covered in peanut oil. Make sure to stay safe because they also had free peanuts in the lobby, which I munched on while waiting for my food. Overall people like their burgers different and maybe I should just stick to In-N-Out but a solid burger if you're really hungry. read more

Ok, I'm back for another hack. This time a little cheeseburger, all the ways, no mushrooms with a solo dog. I asked for cheese on the dog but they didn't get it on the order. I think their system doesn't have solo cheese dog or solo cheese. I'll have to press them next time. The burger with the dog was good, but kinda slippery, the extra cheese might have helped. Everything was good, except the bun seemed a like dry, it started to fall under the weight. I've order double cheeseburgers in the past and it was not a problem. The bun should hold up if fresh. Today, Saturday, 6-6-26 around 4:30. I ordered 2 Cali cheeseburgers and 1 order of fries. The guy taking my order did not speak English very well. He kept saying TWO orders of fries?? NO, ONE...I had a feeling he didn't understand me at all (or pretended not to) that I ordered a Cali Burger. It did not specify it on the tag. I told him that. He assured me it was what I ordered..well it wasn't. It was a a regular cheeseburger. I'm thinking either he didn't understand or he didn't want to make what goes into a Cali burger (the guacamole, bacon...) this is not the first time this happened. I ordered a burger online from Five Guys (Danville) this evening, and the experience left me extremely disappointed. When placing the order through the app, I didn't realize that I had to manually select every single topping for the burger. I've never experienced this at any other burger place before. When ordering through a mobile app, most people are not going to carefully read every single option for each item. To make it worse, my son picked up another burger from the same location earlier, and he made the exact same mistake. That suggests this isn't just a one-time oversight. Considering the price point, which already feels quite high for the quality of just a bun and patty, the overall experience was very disappointing. They have the best burgers as far as my family is concerned. We only do take-out and they make the burgers exactly to our orders every time. Despite the price we take out on a regular basis. However, they are very inconsistent with the fries. When you order a large, you get enough to feed 4 adults. Its a lot. But multiple times, when I order a small, it is barely a handful. Seriously it is not enough for a single person. This inconsistency is really strange, but it makes them seem stingy. My solution is to skip the fries altogether and to drive to McDonalds which is only a block away, and get fries there. It's a little more trouble, but better than paying $6 for a handful of fries. read more

Very mediocre at best. The hot dog was awful, barely cooked and no mustard as requested. It was also very small especially for the price and looked nothing like the picture. Maybe okay for a child but cook the darn thing! The burgers were just okay (the buns were soggy and not sure why?) The cajun fries were decent and a good size to share. My husband had the veggie sandwich and said it was terrible. The items requested on it were missing too. All in all a bad experience and we will not be returning. read more

This combo was inspired by Tik Tok which was the Grilled Cheeseburger. It's basically a cheeseburger but the buns are flipped inside out and grilled with butter. I love how you can add however many toppings you want and can also add another patty. The service was great as the worker was helpful in recommending what toppings i should get. This place is pretty spacious and also provides complementary peanuts. The Cajun fries were generously seasoned and super crispy. Highly recommend getting this combo! read more

Here goes my story.. lol Had a craving for hot dogs today, it was either 5 guys or Caspers. Decided on 5 guys @ this location based on proximity. Its after 1pm, theres several tables seated but no one ordering at the counter~ awesome for me as i dont like lines anywhere. Server welcomed and greeted me with a smile, very friendly. Happily answered all my questions, repeated my order and told me 7 mins.. I left and grabbed milk tea next door. Food was ready by the time I went back and was passed to me with more lovely smiles... Who doesnt love friendly staffing... :) The order was accurate, nothing missing and my veggie ingredients all fresh. Taste exactly the way i like it... My craving is satisfied!! Came in for a cheeseburger service was ok not super friendly more like hi and then wait to order but ok we all have bad days my main concern was is that this place doesn't offer any bun substitutions for sesame buns only lettuce substitutions so if you want a burger without sesame seeds, it's not an option unless you wanna wrap your burger in lettuce, which is great if you like that before having the keto style, I guess, but I really wanted a burger with a bun and a potato bun was not offered not trying to be petty but some people are allergic to sesame seeds or cannot have seeds because of digest issues. Very disappointing.! Also, the toppings that come on there it's like the mushrooms are rubber and the onions don't taste grilled. It looks like everything came from a tray. Always hated Five Guys fries before today. Always thought this chain's fries were dry, hard, and wrinkled. Only got burgers then drove to McD for fries or went without. Couldn't understand the dichotomy. How could 5G make great burgers and crap fries? Then today happened. Distracted by my phone, I mistakenly ordered fries with my burger. Imagine my surprise when I discovered a great fry with my first bite. Fry was plump with a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. Nary a wrinkle in sight. Fresh, hot, and well seasoned. Could be eaten by itself, a dunk in ketchup not necessary. Now I'm annoyed to realize that the crappy fries were specific to that 1 location only and that actually 5G can and does make great fries. read more

Is it the free peanuts in the shell? Maybe. $31 for 2 burgers, a large order of fries, and 1 drink seemed pricey for the gf and I (for what it is). In a few short minutes, the brown bagged order was ready. Not sure if I like this presentation for a staying/eat here order, but that's seems the way they do things (I'm told it's a major space saver). 1. Bacon Cheeseburger [4.0 stars, $10.49] -- it's put together well, stacked high, and it's larger than most. At least 6 oz of meat, seemed like a double patty. The meat is good quality, and has tomato and lettuce, caramelized onions - as I got it "All the Way", vs "Everything". What I didn't like was the store-bought bun, and although overall it taste was good, and I enjoyed (hit the spot), there's nothing signature about this. 2. Fresh cut fries [4.5 stars, $5.99 for large] -- available in 3 sizes and 3 different price points. Large portion, freshly cut with skin, crispy, and seasoned with salt & pepper. Delish. 3. Shakes, I didn't have one...but oh I wanted. Dont ever go here if you dont want cheese in your burger. On multiple occasions this location has failed a simple request to make sure they dont put cheese on the burger I order (I tell them 3-4 times just to make sure they understand) and they still put cheese inside. Ive given them a couple chances and spoke to the store manager about making sure their staff know a sufficient amount of english to understand a simple request, but they have failed to do so for too many times now. People talk alot about the best national burger chain. In retrospect, this may be not the best way to compare. Let's face it, every burger icon has successful and not-so-successful locations. All that being said, the Black Hawk and Alamo Five Guys shops are killing it. Try a single patty and fry the way you like and you won't be disappointed. read more

For a brand new business it was shocking to see dirty tables, floors, no napkins or utensils and most importantly the worst veggie sandwich I ever had ! Two plain dry buns no sauce or anything with some boiled onions, uncooked green pepper and uncooked mushrooms . When I told the young guy behind the counter he had an attitude and brushed me off saying you didn't ask for sauce ! My husband had the cheese burger which was not any better. I came to this restaurant for a quick burger lunch. Come into the place circa 2pm to find the floor littered with others previous lunches - no one cleaning up . Ordered a simple burger with soda . Of the 2 soda machines here - one was completely out of coke product . The other one dispensing a watery form of coke .The burger provided - pretty tasteless and bland and over priced . Compared to the one store this chain has in Dublin - if you're going to pay for a premium burger - this place needs to up its game - not so good.
