I like the whopper and the onion rings. But three separate times over the last few years, I have been served inedible food: one time they gave me a milk shake that was lukewarm and like a liquid, another time they gave a coffee drink that used spoiled milk, and the worse was a pack of chicken fries that must have been refried, because they were dark, like leather and tasted burnt. I came here to this San Ramon Burger King location to use my last discount coupon. It's for a Whopper meal for just $5.00. Reg price on a Whopper is way over $5.00 just for the burger. The new coupons out now are almost double the price for the same thing, good thing the old , yes, expired coupons still work. Thing is, the Whopper I received this time wasn't anything like the pictures of the delicious piled high Whopper. It was a little flat poor excuse for the flagship sandwich. I usually love getting deals at Burger King, but since there's no more good deals to be had, I'm done with Burger King. It was worth it for a cheap price, but what they're charging now, forget it! I ordered a Mexican Street Corn Whopper and Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper. Double checked the receipt to make sure I ordered the correct burgers. I got home and saw they place stickers on the whopper with the correct label of which burger was supposed to be to be what. But once I opened it, they were just regular whoppers and not the special ones. I was charged extra for limited time whoppers, but got the regular ones instead. If they didn't have the limited ones, then they should have said so. But instead stayed quiet and robbed me. If you don't want to be cheated, I suggest you stay away from this Burger King. read more

Walked in to a group of people huddled i in front of the cash register like a huddle in football circle like.Not one person greeted me..I was looking at the menu board on top of the wall.The manager I believe said you can order from the kiosk anytime you want as they began chatting it up like when I first arrived..I had already had a bad day..So when you don't get noticed for you being a customer it can really get you down..No hi no welcome in.. Stopped by BK and ordered a Whopper with cheese and a large onion rings. Drove all the way home and unwrapped the Whopper and was disappointed to find NO burger in the burger! This Burger King has been a main stay in San Ramon especially for late night drive thru burgers. My experience has been positive with the drive thru staff fast and efficient. There is a older Indian lady that is very nice working at night. I usually always have coupons for a bogo or fries, or chicken fries. Recently, the $5 for two mix and match whopper, chicken sandwich or sourdough bacon cheese sandwich is what order. 1 whopper and 1 sourdough bacon cheese sandwich. I take the burger patty from the whopper and put it on the sourdough sandwich making it a double. The left over whopper buns are a favorite of my pup. Their chicken fries are better then your normal chicken nuggets with a spicier crispy coating. read more

I went to Burger King today after finding out that remodeling was finally finished at this location and they resumed serving again either Thursday or Friday. It was nice seeing that the app acknowledged they were open since I could create a breakfast order. I ordered some croissandwiches and a biscuit sandwich, some with bacon, sausage or ham. Also used an offer to get $1.49 large hashbrowns and used my rewards to get a free five-piece French Toast Sticks. Everything tasted hot, fresh and chewy for the croissandwiches and the biscuit sandwich was all right. Glad I went when Burger King was newly re-opened since no one was in the drive-thru line at this brand new and modernized building for me to wait, and the food was freshly warmed up or fried; those hashbrowns and French Toast Sticks were just crispy to the bite. That same kid was there from before the remodeling, and he was as courteous and friendly as the time before. There is no first drive-thru window anymore since it makes sense to just have one now. And while I couldn't really see the inside, the outside looks very brand new from the iterations I've seen before either in person or from pictures. AND, the restaurant is a 24-hour establishment now! At least for the drive-thru, it is! read more

I came in on a Wednesday a bit before lunch and there was one lady working and she was super friendly and she scooped up a lot of really good looking fries for someone else. This is review is mainly for the amazing crispy chicken sandwich I had! I was stopping by the UPS and was feeling pretty hungry. I was like hmm I could have a whopper since I haven't had that in so long. So my husband and I thought we'd split a whopper and crispy fried chicken sandwich, so that we could have the best of both worlds! The drive thru was pretty quick and the staff was friendly. I was a bit bummed that my whopper burger was a let down. It wasn't as juicy and filled with delicious sauces that I oh so loved in the past. What a bummer! Also, the fries were kinda hella salty! Whoever made them, must really love salt. They were cooked well, but I had a hard time eating them with all the salt coating. When we went thru the drive thru I was pleasantly surprised by the contactless way our change was handled, it was put in a plastic box... Kinda like those old drive through banks. Remember those?! I read the low ratings on Yelp after we ate here. That was not our experience. First hubby loves the 2 for 5 whoppers! The flame broiled impossible burger was outstanding, especially a quick fastfood burger... vegetarian at that... Our fries were straight out of the fryer. Shoot, took a gamble and lost. They changed their coffee from Seattle's best to Unknown Coffee brand. The hot coffee was pretty neutral with no real notes of anything. Caffeine content was acceptable because I felt a slight boost afterwards. My wife got the mocha ice coffee and it was almost pure sugar and creme, with no coffee flavor in sight. Shame on the owners for having such a disgusting establishment and horrible employees. The new remodeled restaurant is beautiful! And there are two ordering lines which should speed things up. We used the coupons you get in the newspaper and order the deal with two chicken sandwiches and two fries, which were all piping hot and delicious. There was a little order mix up with the car ahead of us and that slowed the line a bit. The cashier apologized profusely to us for wait. We assured her "no big deal!" There are bound to be growing pains whenever the process changes (2 drive lines now instead of 1). The staff is doing the best they can. read more

Went to BK to try the relatively new "plant-based" Impossible Burger to support the fast food giant's diversification of the menu and environmentally-friendly alternatives to beef. The burger was delicious and has the consistency of real meat. Too much mayo for my taste and not the most attractive presentation, however. I request that Burger King expand their drink options and offer some more healthy options, rather than juice and soda; disappointing that a bottle of water is an up-charge. I think this Burger King is nothing special. This is easily conveniently located off Crow Canyon, off of 680. I came here to get the 10 chicken nugget deal for $1. How can someone say no to 10 chicken nuggets for $1? So, I haven't been to BK for awhile or many years. I don't like their Whoopers or any of their burgers either. I got a Whooper here as well so my husband could try it. BK food is eh. The interior of the fast food chain hasn't been updated, seems a little dinky and older. I didn't think the cashiers were particularly nice or mean, they seemed indifferent. They didn't care and seemed annoyed with their jobs in all honesty. Service and speed was okay, but would prefer it "quicker" for fast food. Overall, if you are a BK fan, this is conveniently located in San Ramon so come here. Parking is usually easy here. read more

No Manager on duty, tables filthy , floor dirty, garbage on floor, trays still on tables, soda machine screwed up, serious lack of staff hence the Now Hiring sign at the counter. I overheard the teenage worker say " I got a 15 min Drive - thru wait". He wasn't kidding. It was backed up about 7 vehicles. Horrible.
