Came here around 3 PM on a Monday. Huge mistake! Where do I start? No Manager on duty, tables filthy , floor dirty, garbage on floor, trays still on tables, soda machine screwed up, serious lack of staff hence the Now Hiring sign at the counter. I overheard the teenage worker say " I got a 15 min Drive - thru wait". He wasn't kidding. It was backed up about 7 vehicles. Horrible. Besides looking outdated, this has to be the Worst BK I've ever been to. You have to be an Idiot to want to work here. Once again, they are Hiring. Tried to get in this morning about 10 AM but the counter is closed and the place is locked up. It is a drive-through only now. Weird but very sad. It looks like they are the last ones left in the restaurant biz fighting Covid all by themselves. This place has always had a severe problem with retaining staff years before Covid. Look, I get it. I understand that when the corporate knuckleheads decided to start selling the exact opposite of what every member of every Burger King store's "Crew" has cherished as hallowed, namely the flame broiled beef patty, one can expect a certain amount of resistance. But outright sabotage? And what did the fries ever do to you? Let me explain... As a gout sufferer I'm necessarily vegetarian. My favorite burger of all of them has been the Whopper. With cheese, large fry, ditto on the Coke. When I gave up meat to, you know, be able to walk again, I thought I would never taste my favorite burger, a Whopper. With cheese, large fry, ditto on the Coke. Again. Imagine my surprise when Impossible arrived, shook me by the collar and said, "Dammit Bruce! You can have a Whopper. With cheese, large fry, ditto on the Coke. Again. And by Grabthar's hammer, by the Sons of Warvan, you will!" Now imagine my disappointment when upon carefully retracing my long forgotten path through the faintly familiar drive thru and pulling up to a place to place the order I thought I would never again place, and after asking timidly, "Is it truly possible to get an Impossible Whopper? With cheese, large fry, ditto on the Coke?" And then dutifully and tearfully and gratefully pulling up to the second window. And receiving the prize I did not think I would ever again deserve. And upon taking the bite into what was once heaven on Earth to me. Only to find the burger to be cold! Not tepid. Not heating lamp warm. Certainly not sizzlingly hot. Nothing like the video on the Impossible website at all! I resigned myself to my fate. After all I deserved this. It's my fault. I'm the 4.7%. That have naturally high uric acid levels leading to a crystalline build up in usually one of the big toe joints. Crystals that form in the shape of microscopic needles which then embed themselves in the toe joints and surrounding tissue creating a pain that older overweight hospital nurses as they gave me a second morphine shot, have told me was the closest I would come to giving birth. No no no. I deserved this cold Impossible burger. No I get it. Impossible. Ha ha ha. So resigned with my "impossible" fate never again to taste another hot juicy Whopper With cheese, large fry, ditto on the Coke, I reluctantly took a few fries out and like the vegetarian I have become, took my punishment and slunk off to a dark corner. Like Gollum with a fish. Only to find that the fries were cold too! How can you screw up cooking an Impossible burger? It turns out you actually can't. They are engineered to be idiot proof. But you can if as part of the "Beef State" you intentionally intend to sabotage this heaven sent breakthrough. And only a Burger King crew member would know how to do that. By building a cold Whopper With cheese, large fry, ditto on the Coke. On purpose. Touche Burger King crew member. Touche. You may have ruined this one. But I'll be back. Oh you can bet I will be back. And this time I won't just ask for a Whopper. With cheese, large fry, ditto on the Coke. I've been in here before, but it was nothing like today. It was super busy about 11:45. There was not enough help and there were people standing around waiting for togo orders. The larger brunette woman was constantly complaining then she starts telling everyone they were running out of napkins, then she goes into how she doesn't want to be there as shes serving the drive thru window. The drive thru was way backed up and the restaurant was only getting busier. The rest of the crew remained calm, on the outside, and just did the best they could. Where was the manager to help his crew? Mistakes are bound to be made in this type of environment. My daughters hamburger had cheese, very unwanted. The days where Cinnabon can only be found at the mall are long over. You may now enjoy these wicked treats by visiting a BK near you. With the new marriage between the King and Cinnabon, I was suckered in to give it a try. At the front counter you'll find an acrylic case filled with Cinnabons. It does an effective job of enticing customers to give these a try. However, my assumptions were incorrect. These were for public consumption and not just for display. After paying the bill for four Cinnabons, there was a long hold up. Packing these into boxes shouldn't be difficult I thought. What could be the problem? As I stood there, the cashier started pacing back and forth from the register to the kitchen. After several iterations, he finally boxed the goods and threw them next to the heating lamps where all foods go prior to being packed into bags. He then went back to the kitchen and reached for the boxes and placed them in the microwave. After the microwave beeped he placed them back under the heating lamps where they were prior. He then makes his way back to the front and packages the Cinnabons into a bag. I must add that all seemed to be in slow motion while watching this guy go to work. What is this? Is this a one man assembly line I'm seeing? On top of that, I thought these Cinnabons were for display only. There was no turning back now. I could've asked for a refund, but after seeing how difficult in preparing these that would just be rude wouldn't it? I might as well buy canned Cinnabons at the supermarket where you can bake them at home yourself. read more

We have gone to the Burger King in San Ramon on Crow Canyon Road 3 times recently and it was the first time in a long time because it is not our place of choice. The only reason we went in was because they advertised that they carried the Chase Hudson meal. Every time we went in they acted very unprofessional and acted like they had never seen the add regarding the meal. The sandwich etc. was fine the service was not so good. read more

Omg?!? Who is this poor young man working on fathers day with no help?!? Somebody give him a god damn raise or at minimal a $500 gift card. We came here to get a family bundle, and from the start the lady who took our order was rude like she didn't want to take our order. We didn't think much of it but it wasn't only the lady who was like that. One of the younger cashier girls was packing our food and to the customer behind us she was friendly but when giving our food she basically threw our bags on the counter and just walked away without saying a single word to us. We get in the car and check our order to see there is no sauce so we had to go back in and ask for some. HERE IS ANOTHER RUDE MOMENT FROM THE WORKERS. Since the demise of the Danville Burger King, this is the closest branch to me and I have to say they are really on top of it! Ordering was a breeze, wait time was as expected for an order to go and the end product was really great. Usually my whopper's tomatos are greenish or unripe but these were pretty decent. Worst service ever. i feel inclined to inform you by writing my 1st review! The lady misunderstood me when i was ordering. when i tried correcting her she told me that I was wrong. That I told her something else. Not that she misunderstood me. No. i was wrong! the customer! i let it go and get to the window and handed her my card. i look over a minute later ovserving her waving my card at me like im a dog waiting for a treat! she didnt say anything. just waved it at me with an impatient attitude! whatever. when i get my food she had already finished taking the other persons order that was behind me so she was free to greet me off with appreciative words. i grab my food and she turns away quickly. no "thank you" or "come again" or "sorry for the inconvenience". I always order a Oreo Cookie shake but since they probably ran out they don't take it off their doordash menu but still give the customer a shake but the WRONG shake. My family and I have gone to this Burger King location about once a week for several years. In all of that time, there have only been a few times where they got our order wrong. We're always friendly and polite with the staff (working in ANY kind of retail environment is not for the faint of heart), and usually receive the same high level quality of customer service. One guy is always so friendly (I'm going to have to get his name), that I swear if I ever win the lottery, he'll be set for life. lol! Burger King has great food for the price. We've never run into a problem with the way our order has been prepared. I also have no problem with employees with accents...I just need to be able to understand them, and I've had no problems with that at this BK location. This place is sometimes ok, but don't go through the drive-thru. On three separate occasions (you would think we learned), they have forgotten our order of chicken nuggets. Of course, we did not find out they were missing until we got home, too much trouble to go back for $1 nuggets. Food is ok, typical BK uses microwaves to warm food, which sounds a little questionable to me. The frozen cokes are good. Parking lot is a little cramp with tight spaces, might be hard to find a spot during lunch. Their new fries are good when hot, nasty when warm or cold. Don't park in the spaces near the beginning of the drive-thru, cuz once there's a line at the drive-thru, you may not be able to back your car out (cars in the drive-in line won't be able to move forward or backward to let you out) . I NEVER use yelp but this was so bad I HAD to come and tell you guys my experience!! Either they don't like me and purposely do stuff to my food or they're just plain crap there. I just ordered $20 worth of food and got 20 lbs of salt on my fries!! I couldnt even feed it to my family. My kids couldnt even eat it and spit it all out. Hot dog was worse than a 7-11 Big Bite, and the $1.50 10 piece nuggets was so dry and old it was fed to my dogs (well it pretty much was dog food). The Caucasian drive thru lady was even giving me an attitude when i asked for TWO sauces (bbq & sweet n sour) for my nuggets. I was nice to her the whole time! I loved my local BK in San Leandro. They always had great speedy service and freshly cooked food. I expect more from a BK in San Ramon. I've been here 3 times now. It takes them forever to acknowledge people are waiting in line. I got here at 10:15am. I was stuck waiting so long that they switched to their lunch menu. When I told them all I wanted was sausage patties and hash browns for my kids, they treated me like I was an inconvenience for ordering breakfast. 3.5 stars Out of the many many times that I've gone here, my order has only gotten messed up less than a handful of times. My food has always been fresh and tasty. Love love love when my sandwich melts in my mouth! That seems to be an almost guarantee whenever i order a whopper or whopper jr. YUMMY! I'm not too fond of the fries, but the onion rings (or should i say mini rings) are okay. Apple fries are also nice, since they actually do seem fresh. Not too fond of the grilled chicken.
