I love this Taco Bell Cantina location. It's right at the corner of the plaza, so it's super easy to get in and out if you're in a hurry. When you walk in, there's a corner with video games and they serve alcohol, which is a nice touch. I usually order through the app because they sometimes offer free items or great deals on specific menu items. Plus, you won't have to wait in line or for your food and it's just easier to order ahead so that when you arrive, all you have to do is pick it up. And the service is always incredibly fast. I guess that's why they call it fast food! My go-to order is two steak chalupas, a soft taco, and a Mountain Dew. If I'm extra hungry, I'll add a Nachos Bell Grande. I've never had a problem here and the food is always made fresh to order. Quick tip: I'd avoid this area on Friday or weekend nights because it's a popular spot for younger crowds. It's a fun hangout if you're old enough to drink. Overall, I'm a big fan of this Taco Bell and will definitely keep coming back! read more

Taco Bell is Taco Bell when it comes to the food. I'm just not a fan of the service at this location! Today I was there this afternoon and not much was going on in this restaurant other than some kids being kids. The service I have received my last 2 experiences here is just plain rude and seems that the employees working the lobby don't like their jobs. Today the man working the counter just tossed my order on the counter after I let him know I was here to pick up my order. All he seems to do there was just stare into space and watch the TVs in the lobby. Barely moved an inch. The last time I was ignored by a lady in the front lobby because my order received 0 sauce packets. All the lady did was look over her shoulder after she saw me at the counter in need of some assistance. Let's get some improvement in the service! Would be a much better visit if they actually showed up for the customers read more

Picked up my to go order. Once home and unpacked took a sip of my soda to find the taste of slime. Obviously the ice maker is NOT CLEAN. All the drinks in my order had the taste of mildew/funk. We tossed them. Then the beefy 5 layer burrito...my go to for years...instead of what I ordered, I got a regular bean/cheese instead. Reading reviews, it seems to be a common occurrence at this location. Disappointing. To top it off, when I called the number for the San Ramon store that is listed on the web...it goes to a fax machine...I'm done! I'll drive to Danville next time! read more

Ok let's be real if you're going to Taco Bell you can't expect fine dining. The main reason I am giving it a 3 stars is because the food was slacking! The crunchwrap had barely anything inside and it was mostly lettuce. Staff was friendly, nice, and accommodating. Resturant was very clean except for an employees cup in the area they were making food. read more

Great place to have a quick bite of Mexican food. You can be a carnivore or vegetarian and they have what you want. Like every Taco Bell the food overall is good as it's fast food. But what makes this location stick out isn't just the name that its a cantina, but it has extra stuff to attract consumers. Theres gaming consoles and systems here so you can play games with your friends if you'd like. There's also alcoholic beverages here too if you want to have extra fun with that but I can't speak for much as I do not drink. Finally, there is the kiosks you can use too so you can make your order however you like. Service is overall good as its simple to just get your meals and the ambiance is overall nice because of the gaming consoles and systems along with the pretty wall art. In the end, this is still a good Taco Bell but not the best as it can get noisy. read more

Not as busy as the cantina I'd frequent in Vegas years ago..which is not a bad thing. Pretty much same set up. An obvious being a cantina since they serve alcohol and have TVs, and loud music. No surprise. Actually a Taco Bell I don't mind dining in. Been here a few times now and the self order kiosks are easy to use. Getting the correct order hasn't been a problem. Most tables are clean. Was here last on a weekday with a couple of friends and had no issues. My cravings box was even packed nicely. read more

I tried to order it through the app but there was a problem and couldn't go through. So I went to the store. The cashier said he could order it for me so he did. But I wanted to get reward points and he said I had to use those self order machines. He said he would help me so he came out to help me order what I had on my app! He was very helpful to go out of his way to order for me! Food was good except the cantina crispy taco was quite little on the fillings! Ambiance of the place was loud with music, tv and teens . Great for a group to come. read more

Huge improvement from what it was before a remodeled TB Canteena. They have video games , like 8 simple to use kiosks you can place your order with card or you can choose to pay cash after your done on the kiosk. They have Xbox consoles and ESPN tvs showing the latest live matches . Before this place was a disaster and now it has 360'd into a whole new experience. It goes to show with the right direction , cosmetics improvements and faster service a restaurant can thrive and prosper . I have never had a problem with my order here now. Before the employees who worked here looked like they didn't want to work here now this place has turned into a success. So happy they turned it around and the new employees are a big part of it . Management is killing it , they still have hard liquor and beer for purchases . What I like about the franchise is the low costs , the new items coming and going and the veggie options galore. Oh and lastly the late hours! read more

I ordered a veggie taco from the veggie menu. They gave me a beef taco :( Not acceptable. A togo order, I ended up trashing the taco :(

Bad service here at this taco bell location! From regular pick up orders to doordash or any delivery orders! Employees do not care for the importance of the customers food that they are waiting for, and the money they spent-that's why they still have a job because of us customers spending our money, which they should realize! You ask for something or something is wrong in your order, they make it seem like your such a burden to them. Why come to work then?! read more

I eat Taco Bell every Monday. This is not an exaggeration, but a literal fact. I love Taco Bell, I think it's the best fast food in existence, and I will die on that cheesy, crunchy hill. However, having grown up in San Ramon and going to this Taco Bell long before it was a Cantina, I have to say I was a bit disappointed in the experience. Upon walking in, it looks pretty impressive with all the new and modern decor. It is certainly an upgrade from the old school looks from before (although I do nostalgically miss its former retro 90s charm). And I am most certainly a fan of the frozen margaritas and beers on tap. However, ordering from the kiosk feels time-consuming and unnecessary given how empty it is most of the time. It can be difficult to find the precise items you want - and worst of all, they don't even have everything on it! For example, we wanted a quesarito, which was not listed in the kiosk. So we went up to the counter to try and order it separately - and were quite rudely told they couldn't do that and we would have to download the app and order it there. Then of course we had to create an account after downloading the app... so 10 minutes later, we had finally placed our now-separate Taco Bell orders through both the kiosk and the clunky Taco Bell app... all from INSIDE the restaurant, which was virtually empty anyway. Not a great experience. Furthermore, I don't understand the need for all the Xbox game stations that occupy a chunk of the interior space. That seems like one of those "highdeas" that never should have seen the light of day. The seating is also geared more toward long tables and communal seating rather than the booths it had before, which I'm personally not a fan of. I love Taco Bell and I will never stop loving it. But compared to the other Cantina locations I've been to and experiences I've had, this was pretty underwhelming. read more

Ah, Taco Bell, I have an eternal love for you. You're not real good for me, frankly, but every once in a while (these days), I need you. Your nostalgic to me, flavors that I grew up with, and that's comforting. Frankly, as a "Cantina", it doesn't work. As a Taco Bell, it's the same. While I really appreciate the effort and new branding as a "Cantina", it's got issues: ======================================================== * Available draft beer and frozen margaritas, who really wants to hang out here? * 6 Xbox stations setup with pre-loaded games. Covid nightmare. * A dozen self-ordering kiosk stations on a spiffy touchscreen is cool. Actually completing an order takes a long time, way too long, and that's not cool. Location specific: San Ramon, CA =========================== * Very slow service. No one "out front", but 3 in the back. 10 mins or more to get an order. * Lots of convenient parking read more

Taco Bell - The best feature - Fast Food Near Me - San Ramon, California

I grew up in San Ramon and this Taco Bell has always been here as far back as I can remember, but it just recently changed into a Cantina location. I remember when I was a kid they used to sell Choco Tacos here lol and I bit into one and my tooth came out and I saw blood on the ice cream haha Anyway, I visited with my mom a couple of months ago for a quick dinner. We both hadn't been back since it turned into a Cantina. For those who have never been to one picture an elevated Taco Bell that sells alcohol! They have beer and margaritas. My mom and I got a Beach Berry Twisted Freeze. You have your choice of alcohol from : Vodka, Tequila, Rum or Whiskey. It's $4 for an extra shot and you can also upgrade to premium brands. They have Patron, Tito's, Captain Morgan's, Fireball, and Jack Daniels for an extra charge. In addition to our drink we got chalupas, nachos and a taco. Everything tasted good. The Beach Berry Twisted Freeze wasn't too shabby. I don't know if I'd order it everytime though, I'm more of a soda kinda gal, but it's for sure fun to try! The cantina even has 6 Xboxes set up for anyone to play with! read more

First time in a Taco Bell Cantina and it was an interesting experience and concept. There are only kitchen staff and no cashiers, so you have to use the interactive kiosk. The xboxes to play is very odd. I guess you have to find a staff member to help you play as some of them said out of order. I don't see the gaming as a big pull factor to the cantinas other than that they serve alcohol. Food: 1. Power bowl with chicken {3/5 stars, $6} - Tasty but very little chicken and mostly lettuce... some beans and dry rice. Just ok. Service: Ready meal time about 6 minutes. kiosk is very convenient and easy to use. The menu is laid out very nicely with different food categories and drinks. I really like this self order kiosk feature. Overall: An interesting concept with both the cantina style and video game in store. I dont think this added anything to my experience, but in the end its still a taco bell. read more

Sorry. I love Taco Bell and was expecting better but this wasn't it this time. Food took forever to come out and you don't even order with the person it's all kiosk based. The drinks took even longer and seem like a pain for the lady pouring the drinks because she had an attitude. I would come back after maybe a year or so in business or maybe when they get new staff. read more

Taco Bell - First Taco Bell I ever seen that sold beer - Fast Food Near Me - San Ramon, California

Taco Bell Cantina serves up a special niche in Diablo Plaza. Its adds breakfast items from 8am and looks like it closes at midnight?! This is no ordinary Taco Bell, in fact upon entering for breakfast to go I'm reminded of the classic action-comedy movie Demolition Man. That movie was set in the future where Taco Bell was the most upscale restaurant in civilization. What's special about Taco Bell Cantina? 1. Open 8am to midnight, so breakfast to late night munchies. 2. All digital menus and order kiosks. No onsite cashiers - just kitchen staff. 3. Flatscreen TVs showing sports. 4. Four XBOX stations to entertain you, with bleacher-style seating. 5. Beers on tap, including Calicraft and Modelo. 6. Super-clean bathroom. Other than that, its Taco Bell. My grande steak breakfast burrito was decent and I liked the cream-filled cinnamon donut holes. Their digital menu allows all sorts of customization and adders which is sort of cool. To-go orders are tightly wrapped and sealed with a sticker. I'm generally not a huge fan of fast food, but I like the modern, futuristic vibe of the Cantina. Besides, as a long-time holder of YUM stock, I need to shown some support. read more

5 STARS PLUS - To the young man named Roger who literally went above & beyond! Maybe I looked totally exhausted from spending 12+ hour day at hospital b/c my husband just had surgery. I just wanted a quick meal to go & the last 2 times & NOT at your location was epic fail ! Roger literally helped me place my order in b/c I had coupon from the location that took 20 minutes for literally 2 items apparently lost in the abyss. Roger had no idea that I had a long day or that I had a bad visit at the the last TB. Roger's kindness & awesome customer service was simply incredible . Oh wait the food came out hot & correct in 5 minutes . I truly appreciate this young man who put a smile on my face at the end of a very long & exhausting & emotional day. If you value your health and overall well-being, do not eat from this place at all. I came here a few hours ago because I was hungry and needed something quick and I got the Cantina chicken burrito soon as I got home to eat it an hour later my body started going through severe sweats and fatigue. I had not eaten anything since 8 o'clock this morning and it was too simple hard-boiled eggs. I will never eat here again and honestly, this whole franchise should be shut down. The workers at this location are the rudest workers, with zero customer service etiquette. I went up to the kiosk politely and asked for a cup bc I had only ordered a drink, the worker then proceeded to slam the cup on the table, and tell me that they had called my order a "bunch" of times. Meanwhile there had been around 5 different groups waiting for their orders, and none of them had been called, everyone had to walk up to the kiosk and tell the workers their name to receive their orders. The worker then proceeded to talk to other customers once I had walked away abt how rude teenagers were, even though me as well as the group I was with were very polite. This also isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with the customer service at this location. If you would like to be uncomfortable, come to this location!! read more

I can't really say that my first visit to this "famous Taco Bell Cantina" was all that memorable. Also, for the record I was dragged to TB because my husband was craving it after a night of consuming a few alcoholic beverages. So this wouldn't be MY first choice of foods on a normal date night, that's for sure. Seeing that this specific location didn't have a drive-thru, red flag for me. Apparently you also do not order at a counter, you place your order on iPads? Lol. Only cool thing about this location? They serve alcohol, beer and wine. Say what? Food? Is the same ol' same. Interesting concept in the suburbs. Same Taco Bell food, completely updated interior with Xbox play area and adult beverages. I moved out of the area for about a year came back and saw the remodeled Taco Bell on Crow Canyon. As of many of the other fast food around here they cater to a demographic that enjoys the modern upgrades and is focused on customer experience. I think it's really cool to have such nice features available at what we think are run of the mill businesses. Not anymore not these days. Our ordering experience walking in was easy. You walk up to the panel place your order pay and then you wait for them to call your name. Service is friendly food was made well good portions not lacking anything. One minus is that one of the items did not come as ordered. Not sure if I messed up on selecting the wrong thing on the touch panel or if my order was just made wrong. Either way I ate the bean burrito just had to add a lot of hot sauce. The video game area is awesome. Says you have to check in with the cashier to get access for 30 minutes for play time. I never thought I would see the day or a Taco Bell would have its own label for wine. Tvs are nice as well. I definitely recommend this location over any other for the perks they offer as well as good fast food made the way you expect it. read more

This place this location sucks the workers get paid good hourly and still not happy the hygiene's and the laziness in the preparation of the food needs to be investigated the last 2 times I decided to give them a try and it is really the last tlrather go down to the one in Pleasanton or Danville for the people that own a sponge and know when it smells bad you throw out and replace new sponge right ? Ok well the lettuce had a bad taste like that old sponge my food was not heated enough time last time they added stuff to my food I did not want and they sit there and laugh I'm sorry the people that work here must have been in jail and came out with that mentality or who knows it's not expected from the older folks either but unfortunately it seems like they just as bad so no more this place is a thumbs down for me read more

My friend recommended this place, so we figured we'd give it a try. This Taco Bell, by far, has the freshest and best-tasting food I've ever seen at a Taco Bell. I loved the "beer tap" dispensers for the soda machines. As others have said, it can be a little loud with the music playing. We went back again late at night (around 3 am) and there was a line to get in, with one of the employees acting as a kind of "bouncer" and letting small groups in slowly as other people left. I'm not exactly sure why, but it wasn't a big deal- maybe it was to make sure the staff didn't get overwhelmed with orders. We only waited in line for 10 minutes, if that. We will definitely be back. read more

This isn't your ordinary taco bell, it's taken up a notch. I did mobile ordering at this location a couple times. They are very efficient and quick. The store is clean and easy to navigate. I was even surprised when I walked in, someone greeted me and asked if I was there for a mobile order and they assisted me. The customer service surprised me, I didn't expect anyone to help me.
