A pretty awesome Mexican food location! Walk in stand in line place your order and then they bring you your food. Prices are ok... the food is good! I had the steak tacos with some of the hot salsa they provide and I'll say you don't need a lot. Hooooo ha hot! But tasty! Also love their chips and salsa... The location has lots of room and lots of choices. I recommend stopping in for some good food!

Yummy fast food in a pleasantly decorated space. As you enter the establishment you are greeted and place your order at the front. The friendly gentleman pointed us towards the nachos on the menu since that's what we were craving. The food came out fast and hot! The serving was good for 2 people. The salsa bar had a few varieties of salsa however my favorites were the creamy green sauce and the habanero. The Ranchero burrito was equally delicious with the sauce on top and a side of chips. I wish they had a chip bar. I can't wait to come back and try other items.

Came here for dinner with the boo. You order first, then you grab a table. The place is very spacious! We like to hit up the salsa bar because usually at least one of our entrees comes with chips. We got the ranchero enchilada with chicken, and the boo got the fajita set. The portions are pretty big, so I had leftovers. All in all a solid meal!

We walked into Dos Coyotes last night for dinner. The Interior decor looked inviting. I ordered the salmon salad with the dressing on the side. I took one look at the salmon, and it looked like it was burnt on the top side without the skin and that they tried to scrape off the burn. We brought it to the front, they said that they just peeled off the burnt skin. So I flipped the fish over to show the side that had the skin removed, which was the bottom side of the fish, and it was not burnt like the top was with a char. My daughter had a Southwest chicken burrito, and she said that it was good. Next time, she would like to try a different flavor.

Me and my husband were in town we're trying to find a place to come and eat so we decided on Dos Coyotes based on their reviews. It is a cafeteria type of environment where you walk in and you have to order before you sit down you get a number and then they bring you your food. We were really surprised on how fast the food came out I ordered the red chili enchiladas and my husband had the Southwestern nachos the food was okay. My husband said his nachos didnt have much cheese and his chicken was cold. There is a salsa bar and drink machine. It was a litlke confusing because there wasnt any chips? When my enchiladas came chips were thrown on top? Never seen that before. There is plenty of seating and parking is available. The service was great but the food was just mediocre.

Dos Coyotes was one of my favorite places to eat when I was studying in UC Davis. My friend from college happened to love this restaurant too. We are so happy they have one closer to home. It's been awhile since I came to this restaurant. It's still just as good. I love the salsa bar. It's the reason why I come here! The salsas are so good! We ordered our food and seated ourselves. The food arrived before we even sat down! Such quick service and kind staff! Spacious and plenty of seating! 10/10 recommend!

Worst Mexican food ever,I order tres tacos plate and chicken even smells bad;rice was old and dry;beans taste like they took out from a can....very bad experience.

Was craving some Mexican food for lunch and came upon this great find. Clean and authentic decor. A great salsa bar with numerous selections. Friendly staff and tasty food. I had the black bean burrito and my other half had the taco duo. We give this place a thumbs up! Oh...and they serve some nice drinks, too.

My husband pushed me to get it on a sunday afternoon after church, and I am so glad he did. When we walked in, they were busy, so we took some time to look at the menu. The location is small, so I was standing next to people eating, and I saw someone had caldo de camaron, which looked delicious. Due to pricing, I decided to go with the Pozole (small). My kids always want quesadilla with rice and beans (no meat). They had a super quesadilla, just cheese, so we got them that with a side of rice and beans for them to split. The portions were perfect for my big boys. My husband got enchiladas rojas with asada. He loved the taste on all of it, but next time would probably get double rice, no beans. He's not a fan of beans, so it's just a personal preference. I got the STAR of the show, their POZOLE was 10/10. They brought it out before I could even get my drink, they were so fast. They didn't just bring the pozole, they gave me the works: oregano, chili oil, tostadas, radish, and cabbage to put on it. It was so delicious, I'm already planning to go back next sunday! My kids and I loved the food so much my 7yo made sure to leave a tip. Service was quick, friendly, and they kept the location as clean as they could. It was really busy in there.e but they got the food out within minutes. LOVE THIS PLACE. Edit: we loved it so much we went back this past Saturday and got more things to try. Loved the carne asada plate wouldn't change a thing. The caldo de camarón took a little while to come out but still delicious. Quesadilla con carne was STUFF with meat. It was basically a burrito.

The decor is a mix of Taqueria and retro-burger joint. I love that almost every table is a booth. The service was fast and you order at a window before finding a table. The salsa bar is also great. The tacos were awesome. Finely chopped meat that is cooked and seasoned to crispy perfection. They're also bigger than your average street taco. My wife enjoyed her veggie tostadas. My daughter loved the enchiladas and the bites she stole of my tacos. One standout to me was the refried beans. I had a bean cheese and rice burrito and it's one of the better ones I've ever had. My daughter also loved them on her enchilada plate. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Which is a shame since the food was excellent. The classic margarita was delicious and made with Arette tequila, which is one of my favorites. It was fresh tasting and well balanced. I would have had a lot more if I wasn't on a work budget. We split the Molotitos appetizer which was fried corn masa with a hodgepodge of fillings and toppings. They were good and bigger than I thought they would be. Definitely good for sharing, or even for a meal. They were a little dry, but they were topped with lots to goodies. I ordered the Shrimp Asados for my meal which was a fresh tasting grilled shrimp dish with veggies and quinoa... only they forgot the quinoa. After over an hour of waiting for it, I wasn't going to ask for some... not that I could as the waitress didn't really come back to the table that often. My colleague got the Mole Chicken and wow, that mole sauce was delicious. It also came with freshly made tortillas which made all the difference in that dish. The place was pretty big with outdoor dining and we were lucky enough to snag a table outside with very little wait... but ended up waiting a lot for the food. I think we were there for over 2 hours and left shortly after we finished our meals. Good food thought but man... figure out that service!

The ambiance is cute with a small closed off glass area of wine and two seater table inside! Our waitress Dominique was amazing. She was able to give great recommendations for wines and food. She also made us feel taken cared of and was friendly/warm. The food is a mix of mexican/euro/american so there were a lot of different options. Here are the things we got: Appetizers - Parm crusted cauliflower: so good, nice and crunchy but not too heavily breaded. The chipotle mayo was delish - Chicharrones: so light and crispy! They were hot out of the fryer. It had a side of a corn cheese dip that was so good and made it more unique of a dish -- must try if you even kind of eat chicharrones. I don't generally like pork skin but I enjoyed it regardless. - Hamachi ceviche: this is a large sharing portion with chunks of hamachi and avocado. Good but not a must have. Entrees - Enchiladas: very cheesy and overall a good dish but I would skip this. - Shrimp tostadas: large size shrimp and it just comes with two tostadas so I don't think it was worth the price - Barramundi fillet: The fish was tender and juicy. I liked the marinades that came with it. I liked this dish with the rice because it made me feel homey. Good portion of fish. - Agua Chile Ribeye: This is a must have! The ribeye is sous vide so it was soo tender and juicy. The broth was really nice to keep everything moist and flavorful. Because we were celebrating a birthday, Dominique made a dessert with a nice special touch. Will definitely be back again!
