For example, UE cycled through at least three delivery drivers -- each of them waiting for my order to finish being prepared, bailing in the process -- and then finally the order was summarily canceled. I recall this wasn't the first time that something like this happened. If the store as a whole struggles with this, then it's not due a single off employee. Today I ordered from Five Guys in Brooklyn (284 7th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215) through Uber Eats: a cheeseburger with 2 buns and a bottle of Coke. The bottle of Coke was missing, the bun was wrong, and both burger buns were completely burnt, dry, and impossible to eat. I spoke with the store manager, and although he was polite and apologized, the fact that he did not offer a refund or any way to correct the order was completely unprofessional. I do not understand how this could be treated as Uber Eats' responsibility when the order was prepared incorrectly, items were missing, and the food was cooked so poorly and presented so sloppily. Short review: I'm a huge fan of this place. Yes, it's not cheap, but it's a quality product. This place is directly across from the hospital and it's often very busy here-- yet the staff is always friendly and move pretty quickly. I usually call ahead at this location and I've never encountered an issue. Pack your appetite, a lot cash and a side of patience because of all the customers, but I'm pretty sure you will enjoy the food and service here. read more

While my brother was admiring and spewing his love for Five Guys as he was eating, I had my doubts. I ordered the Little Cheeseburger ($8.87), my brother ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger ($12.78), and we had a Large Cajun Fries ($7.91) to share. It was my first time having Five Guys, and I've heard many good things about this being people's favorite fast food burger. I know it's a fast food joint, but out of all the other places out there, Five Guys has the worst presentation. Fries were tossed into a tall soda cup and burgers were wrapped in aluminum foil. But that aside, my burger was pretty solid and the definition of a slobbery good burger! You can add unlimited toppings, so I added all the hot dog related toppings, and threw in tomato, lettuce, mushrooms!, and onions. Because of all the juice, the bun ends up getting soggy. As soggy as their fries! I had expected crispier fries, but their cajun fries are just potatoey. Not bad though, especially the more flavorful ones at the end. The first time I had Five Guys was like 10 years ago at the one in the village and I have a vivid memory of the meat being so burnt it was nearly inedible. Ever since, I avoided it. Throughout the years, I couldn't believe my ears when people would try to compare Five Guys to In-N-Out. That's like comparing Chips Ahoy to Levain. There was no contest. Fast forward to a week ago. I'm craving a burger (as per usual) and have come to know the best spots in my area to get them delivered from. Shake Shack, Burger UrWay, even my local deli makes a good one! But we'd had them so often that I was ready for a change. My bf suggested Five Guys. He had gotten it for himself a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. I figured what the heck, it's been 10 years, I'll give them a shot. [insert slow clap] Wow. That's right, I gave it a wow. It was so juicy, the tomatoes were so fresh, the cheese perfectly melted. It was also a double, and we can't figure out if that's how they always do it or we accidentally ordered it that way, but I wasn't complaining. I'm very excited to order it again the next time a burger craving creeps in. I will say though, the fries were not good -- way too greasy for my taste. And that's why In-N-Out will always win. One of the more disappointing burgers I've had from five guys . I ordered their little cheese burger and fries and they both weren't executed well. The little cheeseburger I got it All the way which is with lots of toppings but they simply used too much mayo and sauces and made my bun extremely soggy . Also it appears like my bun wasn't even toasted . As for the fries, they didn't taste fresh even though I saw when they fried it. It was also rather soggy with oil soaking through the bag . The place was clean and the servers were polite. There are different burger sizes and choices of condiments you can choose from. It's kind of like I chose the mini burger with fries and a coke. They also offer free peanuts while you wait. After placing my order I was shocked that my meal was going to cost twice as much as my in N out burger combo. My friends and I came here one weekend evening and there was an employee actively cleaning the store, wiping down tables and sweeping up trash. He later took the time to our about our days with a smile. The customer service industry needs more people like him. The food served here is on-par with every other Five Guys location that I've been to in the city. The burgers were delicious and flavorful. The unlimited toppings just added bonus points to my burger rating. Their "little" fries are more than enough fries for the average person. Get them cajun for no additional charge! My friend who ordered a bacon cheeseburger did not find any bacon in her burger, so she went up and told the cashier. It's Five Guys - in my opinion one of the most consistent chains in terms of quality. So as far as the burgers are concerned, they're per the norm: not-too-greasy and great tasting. Fries are also solid. Only complaint I have is that they when they get busy, they're super slow. It can be frustrating standing in line for a while. I regretfully didn't get them spicy. But do I taste garlic anyway??? I think I do! Fresh, hand cut fries with the skins on. Always perfectly cooked. These are thicker cut fries so they aren't crispy. But they aren't soggy either. Just right. The front window is usually piled with bags of Idaho potatoes. Bags and bags. They don't play. The burger is a bit of an afterthought in comparison. The customer service here is terrible! I ordered for delivery and called the store 20 mins later just to make sure everything was ok with my order. The guy who answered the phone started asking me questions like what's my name and my address but every time I spoke he kept cutting me off. He finally found my name and said that I called in my order and it's ready for pick up. Then I mention to him that I didn't call in I actually made the order through this app and this guy continued to cut me off and not listen to a word I had to say. Then he decides to give his manager the phone and as soon as he got on the phone the manager was just as combative and said I did call in the order. My go-to is lettuce, tomato, relish, bbq sauce, onions, and mushrooms. Make sure you eat the burger right away and not as take-out to avoid a soggy mess. Free peanuts as usual. I like this location a lot, easier to park and the seating space is larger than the ones in the city. The food is exactly like any other five guys, which is delicious. They lose a star for the peanuts- they have a little tiny bucket in the back and you have to be careful of shells because kids are allergic. We are three black people in an empty restaurant, trying to hear each other over loud music, but he wanted us to lower our voice. For those of you who are non-black that is a micro aggression. A customer didn't say we were loud--no one was there and the music is mad loud so we weren't getting the issue. I approached him and asked him how were we loud no one is in the restaurant. He said we were so loud he couldn't hear the music. I told him what he said was a micro aggression and immediately he ignored me and proceeded to talk trash about us, so I said something about it.
