    Cheeseburger and Fries 8
    Jamal W.

We were to Five Guys in Bridgeton. The place was clean. The red and white theme is a nice touch. The cashier greeted us. The burger was great. The fries were excellent. I love that the pur the extra fries in the bag. I had a cheeseburger with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mustard, mushrooms, and jalapeños. The jalapeños was just the right spice. I enjoyed everything.

I have eaten at the Five Guys in Creve Coeur, and I have eaten at the Five Guys in Winter Haven, Florida. In both instances I was happy with my food order as well as the price for it. The quality justified what they charged. Tonight, my wife and I decided to try the recently opened Five Guys in Bridgeton. We ordered 2 hamburgers and 1 regular sized French fries. The total price with tax was $25.14. For two seniors living on a fixed income, this is a significant amount of money for 2 burgers and 1 order of fries. But, we decided we would splurge since it had been quite a while since we ate at Five Guys. We said, "If it's good, it will be worth it." It wasn't good, and it definitely wasn't worth it. When we entered the restaurant there was one woman placing her order ahead of us. When it was our turn we gave our order and then waited for it. There were no other people in the place. I mention that because the 5 employees behind the counter were anything but rushed by the lack of customers at that time. The woman ahead of us got her order and left. Five minutes later we got our order and as we left the restaurant that same woman returned, holding the bottom of her bag. We didn't know exactly what was wrong, but obviously, something was since she was coming back inside with her food. We took our food to our car and headed home. By the time we got inside our garage we knew what the problem was. There was so much grease in the bottom of the bag, that by the time we got home, it disintegrated the bottom of the bag, and grease soaked French fries were literally falling on my wife's lap. As more fries fell from the bag, she managed to cradle the bottom of the bag with both hands to get it in the house. Look at the attached picture and you'll see how the bag looked when we put it on the kitchen table. Besides that mess, our hamburger buns were soaked and fell apart as we tried to eat the sandwiches. I have gone to the corporate website and filled out a complaint. This is easily one of the worst meals we've ever had. We were both too tired to drive back to the restaurant to deal with the manager. Disappointing on so many levels, starting with a waste of $25.

Marlon! (hopefully I am spelling his name right)…read more I went through the drive-thru late tonight after a very long day, and had one of the best experiences I've had in a long time, thanks to Marlon. From the moment I pulled up, his energy was infectious. He was incredibly polite, upbeat, and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping customers. It's rare to encounter someone who brings that level of positive attitude to their work, but Marlon made the whole interaction feel personal and fun. He was very quick and attentive. Places like this are lucky to have employees like him.

I can't give 0 star but here's my review. Yesterday…read more. 6/10/25 I went thru the drive thru. I get busy times.. but 7 minutes for a simple order? Ordering was a hassle.. I wanted to know if their soup was an extra charge instead of the fries.. didn't get an answer and they said to pull forward.. didn't ask what drink. Haylee H. Was the name on my receipt but I'm not sure if it's the same person. This girl seemed extremely new. Here's my main complaint: your broccoli and cheese soup.. it was cold. Not even lukewarm. As a result.. I received food poisoning. I just got out from urgent care.. the cramps I had. Forever ruined this place. No food from my order was correct. The correct change given to me should've been $0.01 and she gave me $0.25. I appreciate the large soda but that didn't make it better and I also don't like soda so that tactic didn't turn out the way she planned. You need to train your employees or you'll get shut down. Your company is barely even known by anyone.. this doesn't help your reputation.. at all. I used to work for Popeyes.. at least their sandwich's are always hot.. One more note, if you or anyone from your company feels that I am being a "bitch" then you too are the issue for not recognizing the problem. Do better. Be better. Mc Donald's is better than you at this point.. at least their plasticity doesn't rot and cause food poisoning. Serving cold food.. what happened to serving with pride.. isn't that your moto? Time to do some reflecting, Mr Lions Choice.

The chili cheese dog was exactly what I remembered--messy, flavorful, and satisfying. The Dirty Coke was a fun treat and paired perfectly with the meal. It was a simple order, but it brought back great memories and reminded me why Sonic remains a go-to spot when I'm craving a little nostalgia. Sometimes the classics are all you need.

First, the girl at the window (Black female) took forever to take my order over the intercom. Then, she did not ask if I wanted fried or tots. Then, she did not ask if I wanted anything with my main meal order. When I pulled up to the window to pay, I simply & innocently asked her if I could get tots, since she didn't ask. She got argumentative and said that she couldn't read my mind as far as what I wanted, and she rudely read what I told her my order was back to me. I asked for my debit card back, and she said sure and closed the window on me. Horrible customer service. I won't be going back to that Sonic again, or maybe any of them. Her attitude cost them $16 tonight and a lot more in the future. And then when I tried to call the store to ask for a manager when I got home, the phone just rang & rang, no answer.

A guy from my running group asked me which way it was, and I was like, "Uh, I think it's that way." A few places on this strip all have similar awnings. I thought I was lucky finding such a good spot. By the time I was done with my run, maybe an hour later, all of Clayton was an absolute ghost town. It makes me wonder what they'd have to put here to get people to visit Clayton during the evening, a 7 Brew? Inside is more along the lines of a bar, with a number of beers on tap and decor that may have been purchased from a Kohl's. I appreciated the way they had the beers on tap written on the wall in ginormous fonts, and I'm sure the elderly are similarly appreciative. Sometimes you ask these waiters what beers they have on tap and they act like they're doing you a favor by listing them. I asked this hillbilly they've got waiting tables at the Syberg's over on Dorsett what beers they have on tap, and he just said they have 30 of them. Uh, thanks? I wonder if he counted them. I went with the 4 Hands Incarnation, which I have at least once a week, because I get it for free. It seemed less "high gravity" than it does when you get it in the tall cans.Hmm... Usually, my move at these burger places is to order a bacon cheeseburger or a specialty burger that has bacon on it. 5 Star had such a burger listed first on their menu, making my choice easy enough. I toyed with the idea of ordering the Green Chile Cheeseburger, but not seriously. I wasn't sure what the green chiles would taste like, and what if they turned out to be gross? The Blue Ribbon Burger comes with bacon, port-braised onions and Gorgonzola cheese, along with LTOP. No, that's not a typo. You get thinly sliced red onions in addition to the port-braised onions. It feels weirdly generous of them, even though they're just onions, and all the fresh toppings are of a seemingly high quality. I was more ambivalent about the toppings specific to the Blue Ribbon Burger. I didn't dislike them, but I was less impressed by them than I would have expected. The bacon was good, but it was in crumbles and I think I would have liked it more if it were in thick, crispy strips. No Diddy. The cheese was either not flavorful enough or in not abundant enough quantity to be much of a factor. The onions, on the other hand, provided a nice flavor kick--less tart than I expected, more along the lines of the onions in a french onion soup. The fries were kinda whatever. They were good, being french fries and all, but not as gourmet as the menu would have you think. And they don't give you very many of them, if you get the regular serving. Weirdly, the regular serving doesn't cost much money, by Brandon-era standards, but the serving-size is decidedly skimpy. Why not just charge a normal amount and give you a normal quantity? Even the large won't exactly break the bank. I went with the small because I just wanted to see what they were like, for the sake of citizen food journalism. You're welcome.
