I can't give 0 star but here's my review. Yesterday.. 6/10/25 I went thru the drive thru. I get busy times.. but 7 minutes for a simple order? Ordering was a hassle.. I wanted to know if their soup was an extra charge instead of the fries.. didn't get an answer and they said to pull forward.. didn't ask what drink. Haylee H. Was the name on my receipt but I'm not sure if it's the same person. This girl seemed extremely new. Here's my main complaint: your broccoli and cheese soup.. it was cold. Not even lukewarm. As a result.. I received food poisoning. I just got out from urgent care.. the cramps I had. Forever ruined this place. No food from my order was correct. The correct change given to me should've been $0.01 and she gave me $0.25. I appreciate the large soda but that didn't make it better and I also don't like soda so that tactic didn't turn out the way she planned. You need to train your employees or you'll get shut down. Your company is barely even known by anyone.. this doesn't help your reputation.. at all. I used to work for Popeyes.. at least their sandwich's are always hot.. One more note, if you or anyone from your company feels that I am being a "bitch" then you too are the issue for not recognizing the problem. Do better. Be better. The food is really good. The beef is tender flavorful and the bread is not soggy. Kids loved the hot dogs and they are huge for a kids meal. Plus the cookie is tasty too! If I have to give a negative would be that the fries could have been cooked a little longer but even they were very good. What I really enjoyed about them is they were not covered in a pound of salt like other fast food places. read more

LC enticed with a free cup of its new organic black bean soup for loyalty members. Paired with the original roast beef sandwich it was worth the stop. The drive-thru experience was okay. I got handed my food and thanked while my drink sat on a counter. Once retrieved I was on my way in a pretty jiffy. Another one of my St Louis culinary favorites. This roast beef sandwich chain is far superior to Arby's, IMHO. I went to the drive through and ordered the giant roast beef sandwich without cheese as a combo. I asked for pickles, onions, BBQ sauce and horseradish sauce for my sandwich. The combo came with large fries and a large coke. I pulled over into the parking lot and pulled out the condiments and applied them to my sandwich. And then I took my first bite. HEAVEN!!! The fries were hot and crispy. I was anticipating this taste of the hot, juicy roast beef with the onions, pickles, and sauces. I ate it all before I even thought about taking a picture. This is a fast food restaurant that I wish went national. The roast beef is thinly sliced, juicy, and flavorful. I really enjoyed it and wish I could take one back with me but I don't think it will happen. So if you're ever in St Louis and you enjoy a good roast beef sandwich, get to the closest Lion's Choice. Went inside and ordered a king roast beef on a gluten free bun to go. I asked for a styrofoam container and the lady offered packets of chipotle ranch. I asked if I could still have the packets (as someone with doesn't get a foil wrapped around my sandwich, I need something to be able to put my dip in) and the manager became involved and I was told that they aren't supposed to give out the containers anymore but she would give me one this last time. I simply said okay and walked away. The manager continued to talk very loudly about how no one needs that much sauce. While I understand the policy is coming from corporate and not the staff, it's unnecessary for the manager to comment on how much sauce she thinks anyone should be using, especially loudly enough for me to hear since I was still in the restaurant. I left and got went back to work to eat but I was not given a bun and was given a small (I ordered a king) cold container of roast beef and cold fries. It was not a great experience at this Lions Choice location today. read more

We love Lion's Choice and have had good experiences at other locations but passing through St. Louis while making a 13 hour drive, we realized we were hungry and saw on GPS that Lion's Choice in Bridgeton was still open for another 15 min. We pulled in at 9:45 pm (it was open until 10), the sign on the window said OPEN, as did the drive-thru sign, but when we pulled up to the drive-thru, no one answered. So we pulled around, all the lights were on, but the chairs were already up on the tables and the workers were just standing there inside. I get that they just want their shift to end so they can go home, BUT if it's supposed to be open until 10, doesn't that mean they serve until 10? Maybe turn off the sign next time. At any rate, we were disappointed and gave our money to Burger King instead. read more

We've been going to this Lion's Choice for the past 10 years, and always enjoyed their roast beef sandwiches. Last night we went through the drive-thru and ordered the regular roast beef sandwich and French fries. Both of our sandwiches were overly seasoned and so salty they were just shy of inedible. If we weren't tired and didn't feel up to driving all the way back to the restaurant, we would have gone back and complained. To make matters worse, I'm going into the hospital this morning for knee surgery, and I am extremely thirsty from all that salt, but am forbidden to drink anything now. Lions Choice has become a staple in St Louis. This is a great place to get a roast beef sandwich. They also have other sandwiches, salads, and even ice cream (including dipped ice cream). Look on Facebook for coupons and offers. The roast beef sandwiches are a little salty, but still good. There is a selection of sauces to choose from. I recommend checking this place out. read more

(once I finally got my food I did not eat it .. i was afraid of the unsanitary practices I witnessed) no gloves .. Far better than Arby's but not as good as everyone raves about. We stopped for a quick bite after arriving at the airport this past Sunday. We were intrigued because the place uses fresh slices of rare roast beef which is different than Arby's pressed pieces of beef. The cashier was nice, we were the only ones in there, so we got the food quick. I had some kind of "mighty" sandwich and my wife had the "king" sized meal. We got here for dinner during our drive from FL to MN. Allen, the cashier, was super friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff was also super friendly. We tried the $5 meal deals and custard sundaes. They have options on how well done you want your roast beef to be and if you want extra seasoning, etc. The aus jus dip was also delicious! This is my go-to spot for some fast food. Probably one of the more healthier choices in terms of burgers and all. The roast beef sandwiches they serve here are tremendous. The roast beef is nothing like the ones they serve over at Arby's. I wouldn't even call Arby's roast beef. Lion's Choice roast beef is seasoned just right and you really don't have a choice when it comes to how well you want it done. It's just medium/medium rare. If you don't like your beef that way, please don't come here and then complain you didn't get your well done roast beef. If you love pure beef flavor, you cannot go wrong coming here. The thinly sliced beef is lean and mean. You don't ever have to worry about being too greasy. Although, the fresh hot piping fries accompanying your sandwich says otherwise. I usually opt for the King's roast beef meal which is the largest combo you can get. You get the pick of the litter when it comes to sauces ranging from au jus, horseradish, bbq and chipotle along with the usual ketchup and mustard. I usually mix up my own. I get a big sauce cup for the au jus and I grab another big sauce cup to mix my 2/3 ketchup and 1/3 chipotle sauce. It's pretty tasty! Service is always friendly here. I don't usually give 5 stars to a fast food chain restaurant but this one definitely deserves it. Parking is abundant here so just park right on in and eat some pure freshly sliced roast beef. read more

This location never ceases to amaze me with their order taking and production. We've visited this location 5 times since moving to the area. Our order was correct and hot 1 time out of the 5. I guess this was the last straw since I'm pregnant and had a craving. We get home and my large roast beef with Swiss was instead a cold, mangled roast beef with cheddar. The wrapper looked as if it was rejected I'd say 10 times. The silver was flaking off, I kid you not. So disappointing!
