We stopped at Five Guys in Bloomington and enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger and shared their huge fries with my spouse. This Five Guys is a stand alone restaurant. This is a first time for me with the other Five Guys we visited. I mourn the loss of the missing legumes, also known as peanuts. I guess this is a victim of the pandemic. Hopefully they will return when the pandemic is under control. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious. The French fries were just right. We discovered at this Five Guys they tell you where they bought the potatoes. Who would have thought? This is a great place for your hamburger and fries!

I wish the fries were crispier but the milkshake and cheeseburger were great! Service was excellent and store was very clean.

Same as it always is. Good, tasty burgers and great fries. Just a little too greasy, but it is a burger joint.

Soggy fries and they don't do the bag dump for fries anymore? So now the price of the fries is a rip off. Meh not worth it

Hoosier Alley - Fried Pickle Appetizer

    Hoosier Alley

She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were set for the night-of. Unfortunately the night of the party was a terrible snow, and some of our team were unable to make it in... and Emma was kind enough to work with us on our numbers. The package included bowling, axe throwing, the arcade, Laser Tag, drink tickets and more. Our group had specific times in a couple different areas, which helped keep things moving. The food and service were good... the facility was clean and nicely decked out... just a positive experience all-around.

I'm beginning to think that the type of experience you have here is very much determined by which…read moresection you choose. I've been here several times, and the bowling alley is always going strong. This time I went on a Sunday night, which seems to be my favorite. The idea was to play in the arcade and have a birthday dinner there. It was less than ideal, and the friendliness of the staff is what made the night somewhat of a success. The bumper car area was empty. I have never seen anyone use them. The skating rink had a couple of people on it. The arcade area seems like it could use more. There are a few ways to earn tickets, and a few games. Some you see in nearly every arcade, like the Jurassic Park one. I wouldn't mind seeing some pinball in here. That would get me in more regularly. We had a few hitches, most of which were addressed quickly. The air hockey table did not give us a puck. After a bit of waiting, a guy came out and gave us one. I noticed the black lights were out on both tables. They have a giant claw to try and grab the big rings of tickets. One of the workers refilled the machine, and after one play we got an error that wouldn't let us play. That was fixed quickly. Almost everything was working, which was nice to see, but I'd like more of it. I grew up in arcades, so even though things have changed, there is a feeling of nostalgia. Bring in some pinball games and let's complete it! To end the night we actually went to BK. I'm not even sure why. I think in the past I just didn't find the food here enjoyable, so I was kind of reluctant to try again. So 3 stars for the arcade experience and +1 for the employees.

However, I really loved everything...I got the medium hot chicken sliders and I absolutely loved them. The "Dave's sauce" was really tasty and the sandwiches were great. I'm a pretty good eater .. and I could only eat one slider. They're not really sliders, like you'd think (really small sandwiches) they were 80% of a full blown sandwich. The fries were really good to and I added the Kale Slaw and both of those were really good. Anyway -- this place is fast food- so expect that type of setting. The people working the very large crowds did a great job. I might be going back today cuz my son took my leftovers

I don't eat chicken but was really curious to try the "not chicken" cauliflower - I missed it the…read morefirst time they offered it, but since they brought it back a few months ago I've gotten it a few times in different forms. It's really good! People who don't like imitation meats will appreciate this because it's not trying to be chicken at all - you can clearly tell it's breaded cauliflower. Great texture when you bite into the crispy breading and get the perfectly cooked flaky cauliflower inside. The seasoning is intense and delicious. The hot is legit hot, but even the milder spice levels are still flavorful. I tried the cauli bites, tenders, and slider. The tenders are huge! The cauli bites and chicken bites are the same price, but the cauli tenders cost $2 more per tender compared to the chicken, so meals with the tenders are $2-4 more to the equivalent chicken entrees, which is kind of ridiculous because cauliflower has to be cheaper than chicken. If you are interested in the cauliflower, be aware that the batter contains dairy and egg, and it's fried in the same oil as the chicken. So it's unfortunately not suitable for vegans or vegetarians who are strict about cross-contamination. Did not have great experiences with drinks either time I tried to get something. I tried to get a Powerade slush, but was told the Powerade machine wasn't working, so I could choose another flavor if I wanted. The fruit punch was also apparently not working (although I saw the worker pour some out and it looked fine from what I could see), so I ended up with orange which didn't really do anything for me. I tried to get iced tea on another visit. I attempted to mix the unsweetened and raspberry but I think the machine may have been not working or just out of tea because I got what tasted like straight raspberry syrup and was undrinkable. I will give the tea another go if I confirm that the machine is fixed, because I like the Gold Peak tea. I think the food is fried to order, so you have to wait for the stuff to be made, but considering that, the service is timely. The place has been clean when I'm there. The indoor seating feels very industrial but there's lots of outside seating which looks nice.
