Super cool vibes in this BRU Burger in what used to be a Greyhound Station. The space is huge -- two stories of indoor seating and a large patio with outdoor seating. Huge menu with tons of options! It was so hard to pick a burger because the options all sounded so delicious. Everything is cooked to order, and all the burgers can be ordered in the Burger Snack size as well. Our server was super helpful and welcoming while explaining the menu. I especially loved the onion rings! And their house made ketchup is really unique and tasty.

BRU Burger is a decent experience in Bloomington. The vibe of the place is definitely worth going for. It gives the atmosphere of a large bar/restaurant but still contains the delicacies of a small, cozy restaurant. The main reason for the 3 stars is the food. While I liked the chicken sandwich overall, it was noticeably dry compared to others that I've had. Dipping it in ranch did not solve the dryness, as it was still contained within the chicken. Our service was good and quite fast as well, especially since we were a party of 8.

The restaurant itself was very nice. Cool vibes, and magic was at a great volume. Not too much seating but want too busy the Saturday night we went. Burger was great! Bun could've been better but not bad. Mine we cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the toppings worked Server could've been a tad more attentive but wasn't to the point where we got restless

With the power out due to a storm, it seemed a good night to try BRU Burger, mostly because it's been on our list to try plus they had electricity, which was a big plus. I'd heard that there hadn't been big crowds since their opening, but it was very crowded when we were there. Likely the power outages were good for BRU Business! The restaurant is very nice inside, and had a large enclosed patio which is where we were seated. Full bar in the front, and honestly the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen in a restaurant! Parking is of course a challenge because it's downtown just off 4th street, but not insurmountable. Our server(s) were very nice - one main server and a trainee on her first night. Two of us had milkshakes (chocolate for me, strawberry for my son) and we had the onion ring appetizer. The O-rings were my favorite part of the meal. Chocolate shake was a close second. Wife ordered a basic burger and upgraded to the chili cheese fries. That is a $7 upgrade by the way compared to the $2.50 fries, but she said they were definitely worth it. Son had the double bacon burger and fries. I had the bourbon burger and fries. We all liked our burgers, but didn't love our burgers. The fries were good, and wife loved her CCF's. My bourbon burger was just 'meh' and I didn't feel any kind of way about it honesty. The 'bourbon glaze' barely added to the burger and didn't have much taste. This is ironic because my #1 worry was that I'd hate the glaze because I'm weird about condiments. But instead it was basically just a messy sauce without flavor to me. Wife and son were both seemingly the same - burger was fine, but didn't seem special. Dinner for three with tip came in at a little over $100. Admittedly with an app, two shakes, but no booze. All in all, it was fine. If I was out to enjoy the bar and having drinks with friends, the bar is nice and would add an element to the meal. But if I'm just out for dinner of specialty burgers and fries etc. I'd choose Bub's every time. Neither are cheap, but the Bub's food is simply better. Man do I miss Opie Taylor's!

Best burger and Onion rings I have had in a long time. This place is a step above. Service was also great.

New, clean, welcoming, and tasty! Full bar featuring cocktails and craft beer. Great service all around. I recommend the Provencial Burger with Fries. Ask for the Black Bean Aoli for the fries to dip, so good! Gorgonzola salad is also fantastic.

This place was great! Service was so nice and the food came out amazing. We got 3 dishes for three people and couldn't even finish the fries. The serving size is great. Price point is slightly high but still worth it cause quality is unbeatable. One of my fav places in Bloomington now. 8/10

I was more than excited to hear that Bloomington was getting a Bru Burger ! We stopped in last night, the third day they've been open. But you couldn't tell, aside from the "new car" smell ! They were operating as if they'd been here for years. The place was absolutely clean and the bar seemed fully stocked. The waitstaff were friendly and super helpful. We got our food pretty quickly. I ordered the Stilton bleu cheese burger with fries. It was phenomenal ! The burger was seasoned especially well. My partner wanted to try their standard burger and put it among the top 3 in town. Would definitely frequent.

When I heard Bru Burger was making their way to Bloomington, I knew I had to check them out. Walking in you can smell the new construction/building - everything looks brand new! The service was incredible, everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there. We made a reservation and were seated and serviced quickly. Our waitress was super kind and helpful. They are known for their award winning burgers using locally sourced meats and vegetables. We ordered the Chili Cheese Fries and the Spicy Pomegranate Margarita to start. They have a full bar including beers on draft (some local), wine and cocktails. The fries were delicious and margarita tasty & not too spicy. I opted for one of my favorites the Mexicali Burger and it did NOT disappoint. They utilize a signature grind of Sirloin, Chuck and Brisket and the medium was perfection. Another favorite (I didn't get this time) if you aren't feeling a burger - the Valencia Salad is FIRE add+ blackened shrimp. Parking could be a pain point - as with most resturants on/near Kirkwood. Make sure you plan ahead to find time for parking. Definitely hit them up for lunch or dinner ASAP. I'm excited for the weather to warm back up and check out their patio especially once the construction is finished across the street. I would LOVE to see more Cunningham Restaurants make their way to Bloomington!

You pay a membership fee, and the workers there are part of the ownership. Immediately, you are hit with warmth and just that coziness you want in a local grocery store. Whole Foods ambiance but not corporate. There is a deli and a hot/cold foods bar. Produce and plenty of plant-based options to choose from. We definitely enjoyed the experience .

Anyone who shops here knows unfriendly, rude cashiers are a long-standing norm. But this goes far beyond that. I witnessed deli employees openly mocking and laughing at a customer for wearing glasses, including using fake voices and calling them "nerdy." It was cruel, public bullying of someone who appeared to have an eye disability. The stuff of Disney schoolyard villains. Truly an insane thing to witness from grown men in work uniform on the clock. Here's the really disturbing thing... Leadership didn't even care. I reported it immediately and followed up many times (phone, email, website form, social) asking for leadership to respond. The marketing manager assured me that leadership was well aware of the incident. Two weeks later, I still haven't gotten a single response. They're incredibly unique and their appetizer portion is HUGE and great for a group of people. 2. Their drinks - also unique, and really good. If you're looking for a good cocktail this is a great option. 3. Vibes - the space is cute, the vibes are fun - great for a dinner with friends or a date night. (Or a girlie brunch!) I give 4 stars because sometimes their menu feels boring - not much changes and it's a pretty small menu. I have to be in a very specific mood if I'm going here, and there's usually only 2 things I'll order. Id love more seasonal menus or just more options. Their service can also be hit or miss. I've been and had wonderful service, and I've been and felt like they forgot I existed. No one wants to be waiting around to order a drink, or to get the check. Overall - I'd definitely go. $60-70 Let me tell you what I experienced on 2/13/26…read more We had an OpenTable reservation, and our group traveled to Bloomington (from Carmel) for a play. We tried calling several times throughout the day to notify FARM that we needed to change the reservation because two of our guests were ill and would not be able to join. The restaurant's phone just kept forwarding to voicemail. We arrived at our reservation time and were told that we would be charged via OpenTable for the guests who did not join. When I mentioned the phone issue, the hostess said that it did not matter if we had called today, because the cancellation policy is 24 hours in advance. I did not know they would be ill 24 hours prior to the reservation - but whatever. I was not happy, but did not argue the issue. We were seated, only to find that there was a prefix "Valentine's Day Menu". We thought that was interesting because we had researched the website & menu before the evening, and there was no mention of this menu being the only option for Friday (2/13) night. Even the menu PDF says "Valentine's Day" - there were signs throughout the restaurant noting "Valentine's Day Menu". The server also mentioned that many other patrons were upset. The items on the menu were also priced far higher than the regular menu. So, we were excited to try FARM, arrived to a very sassy attitude (from the host) about the party size, noting that I was going to be charged. Getting to the table to see a modified menu, whose prices were jacked up. The (very sweet) server validated our feelings and confirmed that other patrons were upset, too. We finally just decided to leave. On the way out, the "sassy" host was snarky and mentioned that we would likely be charged again for the remaining guests leaving and not eating. I have pictures of the signs, and screenshots of the website - and I dare FARM to charge me for their false advertising. At least note the website, signage, and OpenTable if you are following modified menus or processes, and train your team better!! We were thrilled to try FARM, and left saying that we would NEVER go back. So disappointed :(
