They were a bit busy but it didn't seem like a huge crowd today. We sat outside again. I knew what I wanted immediately, and placed our order as soon as our waitress came over to greet us. A cheeseburger for the kid, and a pulled pork sandwich for me. I've never had theirs before. And I never will again. And fries. We got fries. The wait was insane. At least a half hour for very simple dishes. The kid got a tiny burger. Beef and bun. No cheese, no ketchup. I had to ask for cheese. Yes. They messed up a cheese burger. Then there was my pulled pork. It was literally inedible. I've since come to learn that it was not reheated properly, so the goo that covered every bit of meat was fat. It was served cold, for some reason, and the way it was presented on the menu, listed under a picture of some yummy browned wings led me to believe it would be a very different - and HOT- sandwich. The server did offer to take it back, but at that point the meal was ruined for me and I didn't trust them to make anything else, or make it quickly. I made it clear I was very unhappy about such a disgusting sandwich. She took all of 10% off my bill. Better than nothing, but a lot less than I was expecting. if this is how they're doing things now, I'm done with this place. Badly overseasoned fries... cold pulled pork... cheeseburger with no cheese... I mean, come on... and based on what little I caught from people at another table, getting food out seemed to be an issue for them. I'm not sure if any other places nearby that aren't just bars serve decent food, but if they do, you can definitely give this place a hard pass. Yuck.

It was an interesting addition to the sandwich because it made the sandwich a little more sour. I added a little hot honey to help counter some of the sourness. The Hive bun was very fresh. It had great texture- crunchy edges but spongy middle. The burgers looked good but appeared very small. I was a little surprised by the portion size considering the cost. It was very expensive for such a small burger that did not come with sides & drink. I liked the big plastic cups for water. It had a bunch of advertisements on the cup, but thought it was great sizewise for water. Usually we get a small plastic flimsy cup for water at other restaurants, so it was a nice surprise. The staff was friendly and served our order relatively quickly. Patrons came in waves. The outside is deceiving because the sign isn't flashy and looks relatively small. But, once you walk in, it appears a lot more spacious than from the outside. Plenty of seating for big/small groups.

It was paper thin, lighter than a pancake, hardly anything in it at all. I went out to my car to eat and was beside myself in shock when I took it out of the bag. I literally said out loud, "What is this?" I couldn't believe it. It already took a very long to make and I had only 15 min left of my lunch break to eat and drive back to work so had no time to complain about it. I will be taking these photos into the store next time I work in Bloomington. Utterly ridiculous and this was $7.99 plus tax!! It was like 6in long and about maybe 3-4 in wide and paper thin! And NO, I didn't ask to hold any toppings. I asked AS IS on the menu. That place is a JOKE. I will be writing reviews on this all over. I don't recommend Roly Poly unless you want a toddler size meal and desire to pay a lot for it.
