I'm sorry but the prices at this location are outrageous, and the food quality and service do not justify the added expense. Food took longer than usual at a Five Guys, and the order was incorrectly prepared. We weren't in the mood to wait 20 more minutes and just ate the mistakes. The operator of this location has raised the prices to the point where my wife and I (who just moved to GVR) will never be back. We definitely witnessed at least two families walk in, take a long hard look at the menu board, and walk right back out. Never seen that before at a restaurant with counter service and a tip line on their receipt (who am I tipping exactly? the folks who got my order wrong, or the ones who took so long to prepare my meal?). First Time trying Five guys. Service was quick and professional. Free peanuts as you enter. Place very clean. I I was told to try their fries. Well compared to homemade fries or to frozen french fries while you do it at home in an air fryer, I wasn't impressed by the french fries. The peanuts were OK it's not the first class big large peanuts. My small french fries was almost 4 dollars and a half, but generous. And of course, like in many other fast food Restaurants, it was very salty: thanks Heaven they had vinegar. Over all, I try one new fast food restaurant every year or two and I keep getting disappointed. I quit eating at McDonald's because it's super salty, same would be for Five guys. read more

Customer service was spot on. Milkshake was very strawberry-y but fairly generic. Got a bacon burger and the cajun fries. Honestly, I know people love burgers and I wanted to try it but I will just stick to chicken sandwiches. Fries were good but I shoulda got regular I didn't love the seasoning. This is definitely the best fast food burger joint. It is definitely pricey as I paid about $50 for 4 burgers and 2 fries. But I guess you get what you pay for. I will say that everyone was super friendly at this location and very accommodating. They had gotten one of our burgers wrong and when brought to their attention, the manager swiftly came to me and fixed the problem and offered me a milkshake for my inconvenience. WORST FIVE GUYS EVER. Staff completely ignored the fact that an individual on drugs was making others feel uncomfortable. The individual posing a threat was NOT a costumer and kept trying to go into the bathroom while simultaneously arguing with himself and others who had not seeked an argument. The individual was posing a threat to himself and others and it was brought to 4 staffs attention by another costumer who was completely ignored and left the restaurant. This incident occurred on 10/12/19 at approximately 4:49 pm. It's seemed that no manager or supervisor was at the location to take action and I'm not sure if the staff was unsure what to do or just didn't care but they should have called 911. I paid $39 to enjoy my meal, NOT to feel uncomfortable and have to leave due to being ignored. Not even McDonald's has this shitty costumer service. Never again will I go to this location. read more

The food is good as always. However this review isn't for the food, but for the quality of employees this store has. I was greeted by Christian with a genuine smile and positive vibes. I couldn't help but feel bad that he's in this industry because I know negative costumers and life can taint even the purest. Every time I come here I see how extremely polite and genuinely friendly he is to everyone, despite being in a harsh industry. I went to speak to his manager or supervisor (Monica), about taking care of him as an employee and cherish his energy. I was then even more impressed with her response on how, not just her, but the whole team takes care of him and one another. Many people come on here and leave some nasty reviews about employees over SMALL fixable problems. If people understood that they can just go home and cook something, instead of leaving a bad review over little things. This is a horrible location!!! Jesus Cruiz and the other Jesus have HORRIBLE customer service. I took my daughter to this location in August 2019 and took a big bite of my burger. Something tasted weird and I felt something weird on the roof of my mouth. IT WAS PLASTIC! I could have choked on that! I Went right up and talk to Jesus cruise and told him I would like a refund immediately. He refused to give me a refund but said he could remake my food. I told him I wasn't hungry and he said it's OK I'll make it to go for you and you can eat it anytime. Obviously I was not satisfied with this customer service so I asked about five minutes later to get the corporate number from them at that point he apologized (he had not done so the entirety of the incident). He asked to see my receipt and took it to the back. He then returned and told me that any time I wanted to come in he would make it right and replace everything on my receipt. I asked to have a copy of my receipt and he said it's OK just say that you talked to me and I will take care of it. Today I went in to have the items be remade and the other Jesus manager was extremely disrespectful and rude. Told me in a very aggressive and assertive tone of voice that I only had 30 days so sorry it's been more than 30 days we're not doing anything for you. The amount of customer service in this entire location is truly lacking and unfortunately, it ruins it for all of five guys. I will never be a customers of five guys due to the Jesus is at this location and their disrespect to women and lack of customer service and common sense. I did give them a chance to make their mistake right,Unfortunately they came extremely short again. When we got our food multiple of our burger toppings were missing and they ended up giving up 2 banana milkshakes instead of one Oreo. When I told the young lady behind the counter she just looked at me like I was dumb but also said she would remake it. So I sit back at my table and she does nothing. We also asked for the drink they forgot and the barbecue sauce for one of our burgers. So about 5 minutes later I bring up my receipt and ask again and she same girl looks at me like I'm dumb and walks away. They do give you 2 patties and unlimited toppings, so order as many toppings as you can and add as many extras in your shake as you can. They also "give" you and extra scoop of fries in your bag. If you are looking for a casual, carnivorous, greasy spoon this is the spot for you! I usually come here when I feel like vegging out on the couch, and order to-go. This location is very conveniently near my house and very clean but it can definitely get busy. This is one my all time favorite cheat meals! The burgers are huge and have two patties which are cooked well done and all toppings are free. The fries are fried in peanut oil and they have the perfect crunch and salt ratio. Pro tip: don't waste your money on a large fry order, the "little" is plenty! Another huge plus is that the mix-ins for the shakes are free as well! Came here to pick up a huuuuge delivery of burgers and long hot fries. Coming in, Noah attended us and had his crew of chefs cook up a well made masterpiece. They had a red theme going on in five guys. I enjoyed the eatery very much and enjoyed the large stacks of peanuts and potato bags that they carry. I couldn't wait to try the burgers and also see the looks of my coworkers face for trying it. It was awesome. They loved them. I believed that they all enjoyed the thick grilled patties. Totally rockin'! Is how I would describe this location of Five Guys. In general I like this franchise and this store is exemplary in representing the brand. Clean tables, chairs and all surfaces. Friendly, competent staff. And most importantly, the food is correct. If you've never been to a Five Guys, the whole premise is freshness. There is not a freezer in the place. Everything is fresh daily which makes a huge difference in the already over-crowded field of boutique burger joints. I had a solid lunch experience here and I hope you will too. After 2 visits the only consistancy is inconsistency. Both visits left us with incorrect food, one trip had good cajun fries and the other did not. The staff was fairly unfriendly during both of our visits and specifically the ones taking orders were rude. I expect the opening of a new place to not be totally on the up and up but i expect greatness on my second trip and especially for $28 for 2 people to eat, thats expensive by any fast food standards. Been here a few times, the staff running it is constantly busy. They were courteous and friendly. I have not had any problems with my food orders yet. Beware, the Cajun fries are pretty messy, get out those napkins. The burgers are okay, but the prices can go up fast, if you don't watch what you order. The gripe goes out to the seating area, it feels a bit constrictive and is somewhat uncomfortable. But, they do give you free peanuts, so easy while you wait. read more

Perhaps my biggest down fall is giving a business in GVR second chances after having a bad experience the first time. This is the worst "Five Guys" burger experience I have ever had. We ordered online hoping our wait time would not be as long, but that did not make a difference at all. We still had to wait a long time while the staff played and joked around behind the grill. Even though there's a print out of the burgers we ordered, every single order was not accurate. Again, this could be due to the lack of supervision of staff while they played making the burgers. Never again! Maybe when they hire a real manager who will manage the staff can this place compete with other fast food joints in the area.
