    Tenders, Shrimp, & Fried Okra
    Justin G.

This is the first time I ever had Church's fried chicken. I ordered the fried chicken tenders and fried shrimp, with a side of fried okra. It wasn't that good. The pieces were very tiny, with little flavor. I find the chicken at KFC and Popeyes to be better. If one wants to have exceptional fried chicken, have Chick Fil-A or Raising Cane's instead. The service was a bit slow, and the dining room could have been cleaner and more modernized.

What is Louis fresh mashed potatoes but it's chicken was knocked over his right mind was spicy but not as spicy as I expected it to be. Chicken well done. Place was relatively clean. Parking is ample. It's at a nice corner and nice street corner view. I was satisfied with my meal being my first time at Church Chicken. Hahaha I was auto dictating and the first two sentences came out hilarious, so I left it it as is hopefully you will laugh as much as I did :-)

    There's a drive thru !

I've been told by friends for years that Church's was the spot to go for fried chicken. Snoop Dog has talked about Church's chicken & apparently his opinion on fried chicken is pretty important. Church's=place of fried chicken worship. It started in the 50s in Texas if you were hoping to get a little history out of this Yelp review. I have strong faith in Popeye's but if I weren't a Popeye's believer I'd come to worship chicken @ Church's for sure. The difference between the 2: Popeye's chicken has better flavor but Church's is less greasy. Definitely some serious stuff to consider when you're debating between the 2. Honey biscuit here for 70 cents was amazing & the mashed potatoes + gravy were also fantastic. The fried chicken comes in regular or spicy. The spicy chicken here was spicier than Popeye's. They also sell baked mac & cheese, fried jalapenos, fried okra, chicken sandwiches & corn. If you don't have hypertriglyceridemia or risk of a heart attack, you should definitely come by for some fried goodness. You can go to their website for printable coupons.

Absolutely the best fried chicken tenders out there! Great value and you get more chicken than on the bone at other places

The one at the drive thru on Friday nights doesn't know what he's doing. He gave me the wrong order and forgot to give me my drink.

Love them, most people say it's not as crunchy, but I think it's just the right amount of grease and oil for my arteries, food was superb, the in-house sweet tea is great as well.

I never thought I'd say it, but Culver's ButterBurger has officially overtaken In-N-Out for me…read more The cheeseburger was cooked perfectly juicy, flavorful, and served on a soft, lightly buttered bun that added an extra layer of richness without overpowering the beef. The cheese melted beautifully, and every ingredient tasted fresh and well-balanced. What really sets Culver's apart is consistency and overall flavor. While In-N-Out has a loyal following and delivers a solid burger, Culver's feels more substantial and satisfying. The beef has a richer taste, the toppings are fresher, and the buttered bun elevates the entire experience. In-N-Out is still a classic, but after this visit, Culver's takes the crown.

I was really disappointed with my experience. We ordered two Concrete Mixers through DoorDash, and…read morewhile I understand delivery times can vary, the issue was entirely with the restaurant, not the driver. Our order took a long time because Culver's sent us a message through DoorDash saying our order was made incorrectly and would be remade at no charge. While I appreciated them acknowledging the mistake, it significantly increased the wait time. Unfortunately, after waiting even longer for the remake, our order still arrived incorrect. Mistakes happen, but it's frustrating to wait extra time for a remake only for it to still be wrong. I hope Culver's improves their quality control, especially for delivery orders.

Saw that there was one on the path to the Denver airport. I could gas up the rental car and get some chow before entering the land of over priced airport food. Look the service was fine and the food was ok. But there was nothing special about the chicken fingers or the fries, or the sauce for that matter. The tenders were lacking in any real flavor on their own. They need some spice. Same with the crinkle fries. As a delivery mechanism for the Outback Bloomin Onion style sauce thats about all you could say for the main dish and side. But I didn't even use all the sauce, so paying extra for more is right out. I found it interesting that you need to ask at the counter, and get a code, to use the restroom. It looked like a nice enough area, but obviously there must be a reason for it. We're due to get some of these restaurants near me, but I don't have any reason to go back. Chick-Fil-A, KFC, Popeyes, or Savvy Sliders all offer vastly better product. This is a 3 not because of anything bad. Just wasn't anything better than 2.5 average.

What…read moremakes them stand out are the fresh ingredients and being the only Asian inspired with a Mexican twist joint out there (correct me if I'm wrong). There are many hot chickens, but those flavors get tiring and honestly it's more one dimensional in taste. The chicken Katsu isn't your traditional Hawaiian/Japanese but it's close. They put their own twist on it and it delivered. I personally still prefer the Hawaiian style chicken Katsu but this is very good. I wish the Mac salad was creamier as it was pretty dry that night. The elote was good, but nothing to rave about. The fried rice complimented the chicken well. White rice would also go well to help with the saltiness of the chicken. The tenders are good and juicy. It has a light breading which is great since it emphasizes the meat of the chicken well. They priced their meals perfectly and its cheaper than many places which makes it a hit. I wish I can give it a 5 but it's closer to a 4.25. Kickin chicken will be in my rotation for post shift meals since it's conveniently placed across the street!
