They have two thrift stores, this one and one on Indrio Road. The stores are staffed by volunteers and are open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm but are closed on Sundays and Mondays. This is exactly the kind of thrift store I love to find. It is filled with a lot of eclectic items and they are cheap. They sell clothes, accessories, collectibles, and home goods. You can definitely find a treasure here. I left with a large Vera Bradley bag and a small strawberry ceramic box, grand total spent? A whopping $1.50. Now this is my kind of place. The only down side is that they don't have AC which is a small price to pay for the opportunity to treasure hunt. You can donate items which keeps them out of the landfill and helps the planet and they take the proceeds from the thrift stores to help people in the community. What's not to love?

It's a cool place. Lots of stuff. They not only have clothing, but purses, jewelry and some unique items. If you do yoga and like yoga-inspired clothing, you MUST visit this shop. I called this store last week to inquire about consigning a wedding dress. I let the woman know…read morethat I had never consigned before and asked what I needed to do with the dress before bringing it. Under the impression that I had all the information I needed I got in the car and drive an hour to get there. Upon arrival I was met with a tattered store front, dirty carpet, a moldy smell and a barefooted toddler with green snot running down her face. The woman I spoke with in the phone was there to greet me and was accompanied by a woman who appeared to be homeless and kept interferering with the conversation I was trying to have. The woman who worked there (who never introduced herself) was very rude and tried to make fun of me for my dress being wrinkled. I reminded her of the conversation we had last week in which I asked what the requirements were for the dress. She acknowledged me and still tried to put me down for it being properly prepared. She was VERY rude. I have worked in hispitality for 20 years and I would never dream of treating someone the way she treated me. Awful. I will not be returning.

Last week the mechanism broke off and I went back to the store. I had the tube, showed it to 2 employees. One said he couldn't help me as I had paid cash and there was no record of the purchase. The 2nd asked me what I had thought by using a tube for plastic golf balls for real golf balls. He even brought me a kid's tube, loaded with plastic ball--and which was clearly not the same produce at what I purchased--and told me they would not give me a store credit. Apparently, they don't sell the tube I purchased any more. The treatment I received is unacceptable and over a $20 store credit not only has Golf Galaxy lost me as a regular customer, but I will tell people who ask me about Golf Galaxy to go somewhere else. Short-sighted employees do more harm to a business that shows up on a balance sheet. Bye Bye, Golf Galaxy.
