We were lucky enough to have Xavier (pronounced "Ha-vee-air") assist us in finding the perfect shoes. I explained to him that I wanted something that would make me faster (without training of-course) he had just the shoes. My wife then picked a pair of shoes that were not in stock but rest assured he ordered them for her so she could try them before buying. At no point did Xavier claim to be a physician or scientist but I do believe that he holds doctorates in both fields! Xavier was very knowledgeable about the anatomy of feet as well as the design and pretty sure the chemical makeup of the shoes. If you find yourself looking for some shoes to make you faster or just to be a bit more stable throughout the day, I'd highly recommend you stop in and visit Xavier (aka Ha-vee-air). A few cool things about fleet feet I wasn't aware of: 1. They have a 30 return policy so if you find the shoes you purchased not to your liking (I'm sure there are conditions) you can return them and try something else. 2. The technology they use to measure your feet and gait is next level, arch, width, length, pressure exerted on your feet etc.. 3. The employees have a great sense of humor especially Xavier and that speaks volumes to someone like me, life's too short you gotta have fun! FYI.. The place was a clean and neat and bursting with lovely items. they had shoes and pocketbooks set up by color which was visually pleasing around the store. the staff was friendly. I ended up purchasing some Kate Spade jewelry. If I'm ever in Vero again...I would definitely go back.
