My friend ended up leaving with THREE shirts from Aphrodite. The prices are fantastic! Very, very reasonable (cheaper than you can buy online). The shop owner was very helpful and friendly. It's a cool place. Lots of stuff. They not only have clothing, but purses, jewelry and some unique items. If you do yoga and like yoga-inspired clothing, you MUST visit this shop. No machine no answer no nothing. I drove 20 minutes to the shop as per the recommendation of the dry cleaner that referred me. I was assured the turnaround on some alterations would be less than a week. Instead, there's simply nobody at the shop and a sign that says they can't do anything other than hems until March (three weeks from now) -- why not leave a message on a recording device to this effect?

I would have given zero stars if I could. Take a look at the photos of my husband's shorts that Claudia insists she altered properly. And this was her second (re-done) version of her "professional" handiwork. Despite repeated requests, Claudia has failed to refund my money. You may want to consider going elsewhere for your alterations. Or at the very least, don't pay until you carefully inspect your items. I think the photos say it all.

Upon picking up the suit and bringing it home we discovered it was ruined. It seemed like it had burn lines/ marks across the front of both upper pockets. And the pants had similar marks on one front pocket. We immediately brought it back and an employee admitted seeing what we saw and said they would send it back . ( the work is not done in house but sent out somewhere). A week later we returned only to find the suit actually worse. The manager told us they felt it was a manufacturer defect in the fabric and how it was made. She offered us a refund for the cleaning and some store credit. When we said we couldn't use a store credit and were looking to get reimbursed for the suit since it is unwearable we were told by her to check with the store we purchased it at. They as a cleaner were not in the business of reimbursement . I would never use this establishment again. They are very unprofessional and their customer service is terrible! What happened to standing behind the work you provide! They should not be trying to pass off their mistakes to someone else! My sister in law who recommended them had an identical suit cleaned and it was done satisfactorily. How is our suit a manufacturer defect! This is a warning that if you value your clothes don't use Ambassador ! This suit was worn once at our daughter's wedding and brand new! It's a shame it was ruined!
