This location is usually really crowded. A lot of families come with their kids and they run all over the place every time I come in here. This weekend is no different as Easter approaches. Staff is young, a little aloof, but well-meaning. I'm sure they are exhausted from the constant craziness in the space. The line was wrapped around but it moved fast. Everything in this store is five dollars and below. As other reviewers have stated, they do have items that you can definitely purchase at a 99 cent store but then there are some unique items here that you will not find as easily. My son had a ball in this store and so did I until I noticed a conspicuous security guard following people throughout the store. Oh by the way that's a pet peeve of mine.....I don't like it. I absolutely love Five Below... What-a-place to waste your money away on things you don't need and just want. Everything here is sooo cutesy! Cards, toys, games, books, candy, work-out gear, house decor, phone/tablet accessories etc, etc- and like the name states, everything is $5 and under. I bought my daughter books here for $3 and $5, that were $14.95 and $19.95 right next door at Target! I'm here every few weeks, wasting $50-$80 at a time on my daughter, friends and family. Nice place, good environment, Every thing was between $1 to $5 dollar. There are a good amount of items there that I like and some that I will be back for, some items I was I cannot believe that this item is for $5 or under plus tax. It does not have the look and feel of a discount store at the time I was visiting. They have, items like T shirts, a good amount of phone chargers and cases, they have a lot of Halloween items, not my cup of tea. I did over hear an employee talking negatively about someone that I think was a to another employee. Not good, cannot let the customers over hear something like that. Might have to do some more customer care training. Other than that it seems like a pleasant place to shop. Is you are close by you should stop by, chance are you will be back. read more

This is a really fun, funky store filled with lots of knick knacks, candies and clothing for $5 and below hence the name Five Below. I took my 13 year old niece here Saturday and she was super impressed. A hard feat to get nowadays since becoming a too cool for everything teenager. She was so impressed she's asked me to bring her back soon. I personally love that I can get a yoga mat for $5 and they also have lots of candies from when I was kid that I can't find anymore and phone charger cords, etc. I always try to stop in when I'm in the area even if I know I'm not actually purchasing anything. I just like to come in and browse and see if anything new is in. One suggestion: possibly staying on top of housekeeping. Sometimes the shelves are in slight disarray but other than that, I can't find anything to complain about. Stop in and see for yourselves if you are nearby. read more

A good place to spend money on things you don't need but are cute! As far as this location goes, it's a smaller store than others that I've been to, so it's more compact. There is always a long line here. I have frequently found open items or damaged products, not my favorite location but if you're in the area and need a generic gift bag or something, you can get it here. Definitely great deals. You can see why this chain is growing rapidly. In my experience they really seem to have the best variety of merchandise that you could procure for $5 or less. That being said, due to the busy area it is in, it is a little scattered within. Also, while the staff seems mostly good, their seemed to be an overage of unusual, quirky, workers roaming the aisles. This could of been due to the quick Holiday help hiring process right before the end of year. But for a place to buy party favors, a quick toy or just browse it is worth it. I challenge a person with any expendable cash on them to walk through this place without buying at least one thing. I came to return something and I walked out with a iPhone 6 case! What is this store,? Reject of rejects? This place sells poor quality garbage. And how can they call the store 5 below if there are more items higher than 5$. The only items that may be worth buying are books,, not pencils because the leads inside of them are broken through and through. The only way the pencils will last is if you just don't use them. Paint pens dry up after only a few uses, and that is a waste! I spent 39. on garbage! read more

Ok, more junk for sale at $5 dollars. What once was the $1. Is now the $5 store. It's part of the new stores at Gateway Mall. It's located in the middle of the parking lot section and next to The Children's store. Guess it hopes to get some overflow to sell the cheap toys and items. The store is divided into sections for toys, candy and electronics. Most of these toys will last for about a week or 2--what can 5 bucks buy? Check it out and see. great stuff for cheap, you can find mostly anything that you would find in a 99 cents store. they sell lots of brand name school supplies which i like (crayola, 5 star, mead, etc) candy, toys, holiday decorations, they have it all. staff are friendly so thats a plus. come visit if you are in the area. you'll be pleasantly surprised. read more

Great store for kids. They have a lot of cute little nick nacks and a variety of other items. One thing I have noticed is that anytime I go there I get followed around the store. They have secret shoppers and they make it really uncomfortable so I don't end up staying long. I feel rushed out, so I end up spending less than I intend to but the cashiers are very nice and the environment is neat and clean. read more
