Ordering online and picking up there is another treat. They ask for your email confirmation that says order ready for pickup only. I deleted that one by accident but still had the email with the confirmation number and still refused to use that and look for my package. Also bring your drivers license also because they wont give it to you without that either. Also don't let your spouse pick up either, has to be the name that made the order. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store and just go next door to Carter's where they are always friendly and helpful and treat you like a valued customer.

The first item on our wish list: a hat for our 1-year-old nephew. The clerk quickly showed us to a display of winter hats, and we found a great knit hat for roughly $30 that will hopefully stretch a bit as our nephew grows. And since we have a baby on the way, we couldn't resist looking for something fun for our babe too. Smoochie Baby carries everything from baby and infant clothes and shoes and accessories to books to nursery decor to toys. (I particularly remember that Smoochie Baby carries shoes because in perhaps an example of Brooklyn extraness, the customers who came in after us asked the clerk if they stock any vegan baby shoes.) We ended up going with a soft, plush dragon -- our future son's first stuffed animal. It seems well made and didn't break the bank at about $35. And it makes me smile every time I look at it. Not great, I said but I mentioned that I had grabbed the biggest sizes out on the racks so it was no worries - I didn't need further assistance. Yeah, she said, our biggest size we carry is an 8. For reference, i'm anywhere from an 8-14 (depends on dresses, pants, etc. and sizing in the US isn't standardized at all). Needless to say, I won't be coming back here 1. because I guess they don't carry any clothes that would fit my body and 2. I don't support elitist businesses that choose to encourage unrealistic standards of beauty on regular people.
