Seek and you shall find…read more I searched for a specific brand of facial tissues that contain lotion, Puffs Plus Lotion. It was not located in national chain or corporate pharmacies. However, with favorable outcome ABC Ninety Nine Cents Plus, a local discount store actually carried in stock of what I desire. For a price of $3.99 which is significantly reasonable than the standard $5.99 plus sales tax and I was willing and able to deduct from my wallet while any remaining money goes toward food and groceries. There is a selection of cleaning supplies, bathroom accessories, plastic food storage containers, hair conditioner, feminine hygiene and toilet paper products. Customer service is non-existent as it is assumed with any discount store customers are to fend for yourself which I did walking like a nomad aisle and aisle. I was not expecting to be serviced by a sales associate as I am used to the "solider on" mentality. This business sits on the corner in MTA NYC Transit Graham Avenue L train station for public transportation accessibility. Now, I have facial tissues to dry my tears from a broken heart.

I went there to buy fabric garment bag and I only found one then i saw him working at the front and I asked him if this store has more. He just answered to me unfriendly "WHAT EVER IS OVER THERE!" I feel that he just doesn't care if customer will want to buy stuff or not then when I walked to the cashier I saw him and heard him TALKING SHIT about me couldn't find the stuff and asking him. This is not suppose to do with your customer and unexplainable especially the one who claim to be son of the owner. He is so unprofessional and not even qualified to be in charge of the store. I really feel sorry for the owner who has son like him. Couldn't imagine the future of this store.

The deals are good and selection isn't horrible (in fact, you'll see some very obscure brands and…read moreproducts suited for people way below the average income in this city or even in Sunnyside) but the checkout lines are ungodly LONG!!!! They are so obscenely short staffed here I wouldn't be surprised if lots of people have walked out the door with items or just walked out the door and bought nothing because they didn't have 15 or 20 minutes to stand in line. It's also not the cleanest or best maintained Dollar Tree I've seen by any stretch. I think the long line for checking out is a feature here since every time I've gone here during different days and times of the week, the line has been insane. It makes you ask "do I need this item for $1.25 THAT badly?" It seems very random as to when they open a second register to conquer these long lines sometimes taking up more than one store aisle. I can't imagine what it would be like trying to shop here around the holidays. You might see the rapture happen before you get to pay for items. The store manager/owner needs to be taking note here and fixing this since I know this line deters me from shopping here unless I absolutely must get something and know it won't be cheaper elsewhere. The staff here probably isn't having an easy time of this either.

I consider myself a respectful and loyal customer. I have never had any issues at this store before…read more-- in fact, I genuinely love shopping here because of the great bargains and prices. Today, however, I had an unpleasant experience with a staff member I had not seen before. During my first visit to the counter, I asked about a price that wasn't clearly marked. Her response made me feel uncomfortable simply for asking a reasonable question. Despite that, I remained calm, completed my purchase, and left. I then returned because I remembered there was a yogurt sale. I picked up two yogurts and, again, wanted to confirm they were included in the promotion -- since no sale price was clearly visible on the items. Once more, this same employee made me feel as though I was at fault: for picking up the wrong yogurts, for the sale price not being displayed, or for the tags being misplaced. Not only was her response unhelpful, it was dismissive and unpleasant. I want to be clear: a customer should never be made to feel responsible for a store's own pricing or signage issues. This appears to be a case of price tag negligence on the store's part, not customer error. I hope this is addressed, as it does not reflect the experience I have always had here and that keeps me coming back.

Decent 99 cents store in Greenpoint that has plenty to choose from . 4 stars on my yelp meter .
