You can find all kinds of inexpensive stuff here, and I'm always happy with the variety. I've bought inexpensive clothes, paper plates, toys to give as gifts to my nieces and nephews, tools, steering wheel covers, and all kinds of other random things I didn't even know I needed until I saw them. They have a really good selection, the prices are reasonable, and it's actually a pleasant place to walk around and browse. You never know what you're going to find, which is part of the fun. If you like bargain shopping and discovering useful things without spending a lot of money, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Still heat, still friendly, but much larger and bright. Still with great pricing. Hopefully the community welcomes them back with open arms, like I did. It was crowded, so I believe so.

Stumbled upon this discount variety store while strolling down 5th Ave during our trip to New York…read more I was looking for inexpensive t-shirts for my family and certainly found them! They also have housewares, snacks, cheap casual clothes (like leggings, pajamas, underwear, socks, etc...) and lots of household stuff. I wouldn't look for nice outfits or dress clothes here, but what they have is great for casual wear. If I lived here I'd be here a lot! I got 6 t-shirts, a pair of pajama pants and luggage tags for my daughter for under $40! At the airport I would have paid a lot more. Made me happy!

I needed a simple dress for a backyard engagement party and thought I found one. It was only $7.99…read more I found another one that is the same size, after observing it the other pattern was better. When I went to check out, the price tag says $9.99. I explained that the dress is $7.99, so I paid and then went to get the other dress to prove it. The cashier went over to the rack and came back with OTHER dresses and then said she "knows how much each clothes are" and said these are "$7.99, not yours". I told her it says that price and she said no. Overall, felt like I was lied, next time I will definitely check the prices. I definitely didn't think the same dresses will have different prices and then have that cashier pretty much say, she knows all the prices even though it says differently. This place is a scam! I wonder how much will it be if I grabbed the $7.99 dress? I don't mind the extra $2, but this is not how business is done. Get yourself together!

My mother who moved from the city misses this place the most. Fortunately this store is still the same as I remember it from my childhood, albeit a little more interesting now that I have a frame of reference! You can think of it as a cozier version of Burlington's. There are many discounted brand name clothes here; the ones I've gotten here are somehow much nicer than the ones I've gotten directly from the brand. This might be due to the meticulous selection process that items coming in here must go through, with the business's model and absence of space to really become another Marshall's/TJMaxx or Target. Which is fine with me - I prefer this handpicked variety, and there are still so many options to choose from, and restocking so frequently, that I never feel lacking. I really like the velvet coat hangers for the price, the winter coat selection, the shoes that I can comfortably wear to interviews and work. There are some comfy blankets and plush throws upstairs, they made for great holiday stocking stuffers.

Another moment of desperation struck during covid when my microwave caught on fire. So. . . . . lessons I've learned - don't leave a small pat of butter unattended in the microwave. You know what? Just don't even try to microwave a small pat of butter. It's better to be safe than sorry. I don't own a fire extinguisher so you can envision the 60 seconds of trauma I endured over trying to make bloody pancakes. Here comes MF discount to save the day! After I threw my defective microwave to the curb, I remembered this spot sold weird appliances and since Amazon takes like 2 months now for deliveries and my precious Target is like a 3 mile walk away, this was going to have to suffice. They had a small variety of microwaves but exactly what I needed with a handful of selections under a hundred bucks. They even offered to make me a handle for my hefty package. Great customer service and super convenient shop. Only thing I would have beef with is how over-stocked the shelves are for a tiny space, it's cramped and loaded with goods. The microwave has been working great though. After the trauma, I feel like I can finally stop watching it with wide eyes, expecting it to blow up on me.
