I used to come to this location often, and the last 4 or 5 trips have been extremely disappointing. The store looks like a bomb hit it every time you come through. There are boxes stacked everywhere, empty shelves, and empty freezers. It's purely insane in the aisles. Grimy floors, opened packages, random items strewn about. It makes me wonder, Do they even have a stocking and floor crew? They don't have much of anything on the shelves. I've even gotten expired products that I had to bring back. This is the second time I've come in and try to get cash back, only to be told they don't have any cash. But wait, when the register opens, plenty of cash..... what is the deal? A few staff members are friendly and professional, others are the polar opposite. What game are you guys trying to play here? Do you guys want customers? Nevermind, won't come back. This store is a total mess, with disrespectful workers, which is only 2 possible 3, long lines with only one worker at the cashier. They have boxes everywhere and are never stocked where you can find what you need. I don't work there, so I shouldn't have to be opening up boxes to see if what I need is in there. This dollar tree used to be really good. But, since it's the only one in my neighborhood now, it definitely lost some of its charm lol. The place is always a mess now, and you can barely find anything. There's boxes of stuff all over the place, and it's a bit harder to maneuver due to all the stuff all over the place. The best part of this dollar tree is the parking lot. Free parking is great especially if you have a lot of things that you can easily just pop into the trunk or backseat. The service is okay. It's a hit or miss, to be honest. The selections would be okay if they would restock the floor before they open. As a customer, seeing the shelves bare, and boxes scattered throughout just makes me walk in and walk right out. But, since this is the only one in my neighborhood now. Not the cleanest but hey, that seems to be DT's motto. Move over F-Dollar. It's an okay sized store and for a dollar an item I really can't complain. Well I can but I won't. I feel as if I shouldn't. It's great for purchasing cleaning supplies (read labels), garden stuff, children's play stuff and books, party supplies, greeting cards, kitchen accessories and the likes. On my visit there were (only) three members of staff on duty but it wasn't crowded with customers so there's that. Bargain is my middle name so I'll be back. The End. read more

I learned about dollar tree stores when visiting family in the South years ago. We just started getting the stores in NYC. I finally visited this store that recently opened in the area. Thankfully it was clean and fully stocked. The store was clean and full of knick knacks. There were a lot of Christmas items near the front of the store. It's like a discount store and mini supermarket. I picked up some chocolates and was disappointed they didnt have these soaps that I love. When I first learned about these soap bars I was about to order them on Amazon.com because I couldn't find them anywhere. I checked out the reviews on Amazon and several customers said they could be purchased at DT for $1. Woo hoo. I bypass the food items because I'm leery. They just have what I'M looking for. It's a hot ass mess and disorganized BUT, they have a lot and good snacks and food for $1. And personally with every visit I have there, which is often, I find the staff to very friendly and helpful. You can definitely tell that they are working hard. -Never any attitude, which I can appreciate in a dollar store. read more

Good evening me & my family are consistent customers at the 1720 Location Store 06153 It Seem like every time we are there this manager named Renee is never being professional . . . When a cashier ask for help/assitance she takes her time to help them . . . She never responds back on time to them she always have a nasty attitude towards the customers & her associates . . . One time she held the lines up for about 10 minutes to get change for the cashier . . she never has anything positive to say when she is asked about an certain item . . . Just the other day one of the young ladies asked her to come assist her with a very long line she took her time to come help the young lady had to page her 3 times to come to an regsiter its just crazy very unprofessional infront of the customers . . . There was one day i wanted to purchase an item i told her the line was very long can she open an register she told me its not her problem and continued to walk away . . . This young lady never seem to be in a up right mood to deal with customers . . She always just standing around with an attitude towards not only the workers but the cashiers as well . . There was an incident with her and another customer in front of me and she totally disrepected the young man tossed his items gave him attitude all because he asked her to open an register because he had to get back to work she's completely out of control and terrible she making this store and the company look very bad as well read more
