I don't own a fire extinguisher so you can envision the 60 seconds of trauma I endured over trying to make bloody pancakes. Here comes MF discount to save the day! After I threw my defective microwave to the curb, I remembered this spot sold weird appliances and since Amazon takes like 2 months now for deliveries and my precious Target is like a 3 mile walk away, this was going to have to suffice. They had a small variety of microwaves but exactly what I needed with a handful of selections under a hundred bucks. They even offered to make me a handle for my hefty package. Great customer service and super convenient shop. Only thing I would have beef with is how over-stocked the shelves are for a tiny space, it's cramped and loaded with goods. The microwave has been working great though. After the trauma, I feel like I can finally stop watching it with wide eyes, expecting it to blow up on me.

This is your average 99 Cent store. They've got everything. However, I honestly never would've come in this particular store if I didn't need quarters to feed the parking meter. But because I didn't want to be a burden to the nice cashier lady, I bought a deck of cards (never know when you might need to get your hustle on), and a bottle of water. The water was $.35! No one sells single bottles of water this cheap anymore! Manhattan hot dog vendors try and charge me $2 now, for the same Poland Spring! You can't get anything for $.35 in this city! Very nice retail shopping center in Downtown Brooklyn…read more Walking through I viewed a variety of upper-scale shops such as Lululemon, Lovesac, Warby Parker, Rumi Life, Swarovski, and others. To dine there is a Fogo De Chao, Van Leeuwen ice cream, Bang Cookies, coffee kiosk on the main level. Dekalb Market is on lower level along with a Trader Joe's, and Target on upper level. Alamo Drafthouse theater is also here to catch a movie. It's a very clean and well maintained shopping center.

Miss Michaels and Nordstrom Racks. The food court is a bit scattered and not the best options. Red Lobsters is all the way past across the parking lot. Yes. You need to walk across the parking lot which is a WALK. Apple B's which is there and find it to be the worst food. There is also Chik-fill-A (recently opened), Panera, pizza shop, and a burger place. I believe there is an Olive Gardens. Not all food stops will be together in one spot. Most all are separate and walking distance. You have the East and North side of Gateway. Large open space with many stores on both sides. I don't mind the walking, but it is a walk when you have to go from Target across the ramp to JC Penny or Petco. Not all the stores are in one location. The stores are spread out. If you can, try to do your shopping early. Don't wait past noon because the stores are crowded, long lines, and tons of traffic. My least place at the this mall is Shop Rite. You feel like you walk into a Zion every time. I have never seen a supermarket overly crowded. You can barely move your shopping cart. By the way, speaking about shopping carts, make sure you have a quarter to spare. No more free shopping carts. Must pay a quarter. I usually visit for some of the stores, but not all. It is a good open space and walk. I just avoid going at certain times of the day and weekends can be chaotic. The value of things at this location varies on what it is you are looking for. You could find good deals. How to get there? Definitely by car. There is a bus station, but good luck waiting.
