However, I told her twice that they sell them that way. My friend had a bunch in the same area but his had the tag. Luckily they had an employee who overheard and told her what she had to scan. And might I add that the quality and the variety of colors of the shirts and joggers is great. The minuses of this store ... The homeless that gather on the first floor/lobby. The confusing bathrooms, I wasn't sure if I ended up in the men's bathroom by mistake, it was really weird and freaky. Why does this store have pre-taped bags for customers who have paid for their store purchases? Are these customers being silently accused of being potential thieves and dishonest customers? Every time a customer purchases items from this store, their items are placed in these pre-taped bags, and they are fully sealed by the employees at the registers. Is this any way to treat paying customers? This store is patronized by mostly black customers. It is located in a highly black-populated neighborhood. These pre-tape bags are hard to open by hand. The bags are made of plastic. Little old ladies would be hard pressed to open these bags. A pair of scissors or a sharp knife is required to cut or puncture these bags. The taped portion is not easy to open with bare hands. The customers must be strong to open be these bags. Customers pay their hard-earned money. Now they must work just as hard to open these bags. Being treated as common thieves is a debilitating attitude that has enveloped many department stores. Most of the management is of East Indian descent. Most of the employees at the cash registers are of east Indian descent. The merchandise of this store is very desirable to these paying customers. The prices are reasonable. Customers are required to check all bags at the entrance. The security is negligible. There is security at the door. There might be security roaming the store. And there might be security cameras with a station hidden on the premises. Credit companies have stated that personal identification is not required when credit cards are tendered for purchases at all businesses. But businesses are posting signs demanding photo identification for all purchases. These stores are posting their own anti-theft policies as opposed to obeying the strict policies of credit card companies. They are racially profiling their customers. More correctly they are exhibit racism against their customers. These businesses should be reported to the credit card companies. read more
