Very nice selections of hats and scarves, sleepers and socks, hair accessories and custom jewelry, bags decorations and man accessories. This small boutique is owned by a middle age couple. I've been accommodated, at…read moreother locations l, however, I was told to try with At Your Service, which was equally as dismissive. I found two items in their last act section, both of which, lacked a price. When I attempted to make the purchase at the register the cashier just told me they were apart of a pack. However, I told her twice that they sell them that way. My friend had a bunch in the same area but his had the tag. Luckily they had an employee who overheard and told her what she had to scan. I think it's safe to say, I'll stick with 34th Street and Downtown Brooklyn over this location, going forward.

Historically it seems that this place has received bad reviews. My experience here was actually…read morevery pleasant. The food I must say is superb. All salads put out on the table as well as the kebabs were delicious! One key factor here is their layout. Decor is fine, nothing amazing but the fact that they have about 10 rooms at least that can be used for private parties of various sizes. That is purely awesome! Each room and each table has a button to summon a person if you are in need of assistance. Something I have never seen before. Having attended as part of a party I can't speak on individual dishes and value as not entirely sure of what was what but everything was something I would come back and eat again without hesitation. Another factor that stood out is their tableware. Not the generic plastic cups and plates. Cups were like crystal or glass, very nice design. Each plate was also ornamental with a golden design. Not generic white plates. Made the place seem more up scale. Do give it a try!

I had high hopes for Shashlik House, but the experience fell short in several ways. The restaurant…read moreonly provides its menu online, which would be fine if there were reliable cell service inside--but there isn't. There are no printed menus or tablets available from the restaurant, so I actually had to step outside just to download the menu then pass my phone around to my wife and mother in law so we can order. Service is inattentive, and needs a lot of improvement. One of our dishes never arrived and seemed to disappear entirely. I had to ask for the check three separate times before it finally came. It never felt that the anyone cared if we were enjoying ourselves. On top of that, the bill included both sales tax and an additional "fee" totaling 11.875%, with no explanation of what that fee was for. Bathroom had no paper towels to dry your hands. The food itself was passable, but unfortunately the service and overall experience overshadowed any positives. With a few basic fixes, this place could be much better--but as it stands, I wouldn't rush back when amazing alternatives like Samarkand Nights in mill basin exist.

So before I start, let's be clear. Keep in mind that this is a discount department store. Not…read moreyour soho boutique or upscale organic market. Most of the stuff here has gone through a lot before even landing here at Marshall's. Now, onto the place itself. This I would have to say is much better than the Marshall's in Bensonhurst and Atlantic terminal. It is still new, just opened about a year and a half ago. It is clean and neat at times. I can say that it will be messy at times but the workers here always try to keep it as neat as possible. It's just that the people who shop here don't care and mess it up. They let their kids run around and play in the clothing and shoes we are about to purchase, so keep that in mind, it's not the stores fault. They do have a late night staff as well as early morning that sets everything up, so my recommendation is come early in the morning. As for the stock, I would say they have pretty good merchandise. I am the smallest size in clothing, small to point where many brands don't fit me, yet I can still find many things that fit me in this store. Their selection of shoes are also pretty good. Lots of party heels, flats, and boots. Of course, sometimes it takes a while to look for them because this section is one of the messiest which people obviously just throw shoes around. Not only being unkind to the store and it's merchandise but also those who shop after them. Anyhow, I've managed to score great work shoes here like a pair of black leather Vince camuto pointed heels for only forty dollars, which is a steal. They also offer food And home and bath accessories. It's not as large as many of the other TJ Maxxs and Home Goods are, especially in Manhattan, but this will suffice for a small corner of Brooklyn. The staff is also very hard working here. The only thing I dislike about this store is how crowded it gets during it's busy hours which is usually on weekends or after work. When the line gets crazy, boy does it get crazy. I'm not very patient, but again, this isn't the stores fault, it's just rush hour. Of course, Century 21 is more upscale and preferable among a lot of people, but if you live in sheepshead bay and don't feel like taking an R train all the way out to Bay Ridge or dealing with the busy and tourist filled FiDi century 21, then this will have to do- especially if you're looking for discounted merchandise.
