Target is convenient in terms of distance, but unfortunately, the staff's attitude, especially in the fitting room, leaves much to be desired. Instead of a friendly greeting, the first thing they say is, 'How many?' and 'Only five items.' In addition, if the customer has less than 5 items by the amount on hand, the staff member lead them to the fitting room without saying anything at all. Not a "please follow me"..Customer service needs improvement--either hire people who genuinely want to work or provide proper training for customer service. I now avoid coming to this Target and will instead go to the one at Atlantic to Bensonhurst rather than the Flatbush location. read more

This Target is huge. It's three floors (I haven't been on the third floor yet). It was my first time in this Target. I came for the bathroom and ended up buying a few things. I would highly recommend buying clothing here and or accessories. I spent $75 and change, and this was for two long sleeve shirts, two short sleeve shirts, leopard print joggers, and a furry mini backpack. And might I add that the quality and the variety of colors of the shirts and joggers is great. The minuses of this store ... The homeless that gather on the first floor/lobby. The confusing bathrooms, I wasn't sure if I ended up in the men's bathroom by mistake, it was really weird and freaky. It's truly disappointing that this is the only nearby Target where I live. I would rather walk miles to another neighborhood than to ever step foot in this establishment ever again. It is honestly one of those places you walk into hoping for a quick stop, and somehow you end up regretting the whole trip. The moment I walked in, the store felt messy, crowded, and completely overwhelming. Clothes were everywhere, random items were on the floor, and the shelves looked like they survived a mini hurricane! I tried to ask an employee where to find something, and they just pointed in a random direction without even looking up. Everything is locked up, and everytime I ask for someone to help me open something they either say "I don't have the key" or "Find someone else." HELLO???!! You guys are hired for a reason, to help customers when they need something, especially when EVERYTHING is locked up. It felt like the customer service had vanished into thin air. Half the aisles were blocked with carts, and the checkout lines were so long I kept debating whether or not I should just give up and go home. What makes it worse is that this is supposed to be a big, reliable store, but instead it feels more like a giant scavenger hunt you never signed up for.Overall, this Target isn't terrible for emergencies, but definitely not the place you go to when you want a smooth shopping trip. I'd give it a 1/10 at best. If you can go to another location, save yourself the stress. read more

I used to live in the area almost 2 years ago & went to this target with my baby a lot. I've moved back to the area and was excited to go. However everything and I mean literally everything is locked up which means they have a theft problem. The employees are working extra hard to run back and forth to open the cages for customers. They do a great job but I can tell it's a lot. But the kicker is not only have I've heard of a few thefts in the parking lot. I too felt unsafe at the elevator as a few guys in ski mask surrounded me & my basket full of purchased product obviously waiting for me to get on the elevator. Which also lead me to believe someone told them I was headed that way, I work in retail management & I know the game. So I was luckily able to get some help from to my Uber. I recommend arm guards at this location. & maybe don't go at night. They should also probably close earlier for the safety of their employees & customers. But mainly their employees who are working extremely hard, it can also be dangerous for them. read more

I heard many good things about this Target. Super Target is the nickname my friends gave it. I was shocked how spacious this one is. They have a whole area dedicated to fresh produces. My main goal was to get Hellmann organic mayo and Mrs. Meyer's soy candle. However, I kept wandering to the dollar spot area. It was very organized compared to the Target in Atlantic Terminal. In the end, I had strong will power and went home with my two items. It was hard. I tell you, you can spend an hour just browsing. Tip: Go around 8ish on a weekday, it's quiet and you can wander around without the crowd. read more

Today I visited this Target for the second time. Each time I have noticed how clean and well stocked the store is kept. Also per some of the other Yelp reviews, I knew to come at an off hour when they were not busy. Target has a huge selection of goods and some outside vendors (Pizza Hut, CVS, Starbucks for those who want to take a break while shopping. Special kudos to Afi, who works at this Target. Not only was he friendly and helpful when I was looking for sneaker laces, but later when he spotted me in the store, he took the time to ask if I found what I needed. If I could give this Target zero stars I would. It is a rare day I give a review like this but every time I come here, I feel like I am being scammed. Merchandise is always strewn about and stock is usually inaccurate. The management initiate their own policies and are adamant when customers know policy. As a former employee, I can only imagine what goes on behind doors. Last time I came to pick up an order, it took an hour to figure out they never even picked the order! I had to literally go fulfill my own order i had received a pickup notice for. No Apologies, nada. Today I came to get an item supposedly in stock, of course it was not amd I noticed it went on clearance for IN STORE purchase only. Did they honor the price? Of course not. At least 3 of the stalls have no privacy lock, one does not have a door at all. They don't seem to care. Something about Target their bathrooms have become homeless shelters. I walked in to Target in a good mood to return items and buy packaging tape, dish soap, soup, and vegetables. All my favorites, but I walked out with a pissed off attitude and no items. Why do you say this? I was returning an item, but for some reason the cashier made an excuse on why I couldn't return the item even when it was not in their policies. The tone and the way she delivered that excuse was very accusatory. After that, I immediately rectified this issue by calling corporate as I was in the store since I knew she made up her excuse. I was given great customer service on the phone and the issue was corrected, but still left without purchasing a single item. I worked customer service and food/bev for years and still do. There is nothing that consumers can't buy in store vs online which isn't different. Everything can be bought online so I think the great differentiation of in person shopping is really the customer service and stock. Also, I live by this Target, but have been mainly going to the Target in Manhattan by where I work near Columbus Circle and Flatiron. The standards for stores in Manhattan vs Brooklyn seems to be very different. read more

I'll give them three stars because the layout and merchandise selection is great, definitely as solid at Atlantic Terminal or other large Target locations. However, I have been yelled at by staff/crew at this store, for no discernible reason, almost every single time I have visited the store. They are so tense here it is almost a comedy skit about shopping in Brooklyn. Also, they do not stock the large size Target bags at the check out. If you are buying a lot of stuff or bulky items you must bring a big bag with you. This is something I always forget and then kick myself when I am trying to wrestle a silverware tray and a My Little Pony play doh set into their small plastic grocery bags. read more

I am a team member here. I've been working here since 2020. I am a cart attendant and man they treat us like crap in there . First and foremost the store is busy . All the time . So we have to consistently grab carts all day .Which is fine it's our job however, we barley have any carts. Plus the scheduling is horrible so you might have to get used to working by Yourself sometimes . Which is terrible because, the store is always busy so u need somebody to be by your side , and anytime you ask a leader about the scheduling issues they always say it's because of our"payroll" which is a lousy excuse . Not to mention the managers treat the workers like slaves . If you thinking about working here especially as a cart attendant , don't . It'll be a big mistake . read more

On more than one occasion I have kindly asked for assistance and they serve you with attitude again and again. I had security flag a service rep down to help me in the Ulta section and she comes over and looks me up and down from head to toe, that was crazy and then she screams at me, tells me the items have to be purchased here which I pretty much knew. Another time I had a young lady slam the glass doors as she went to retrieve my items from a case and I had another look at me as though I had three heads when I asked him to open the ibuprofen case so I could get the pills I was looking for. I had another one treat me disdainfully by discriminating against me and today I just had one argue me down about price matching with Walmart. I was in complete shock and mind you when this is happening there's never a supervisor in sight walking the floors. I'm not the only customer they do this to. Honestly this place I'm has always been riddled with problems but today just pushed it over the edge. I normally don't give reviews for places like this but I just had to. I walk in to pick up an order I made online for my daughter. It's a walker in pink and I know she's gonna love it. I walk in an head over to the online order pick up line Only to be told it's been relocated to the other side of the line I just waited on for the past 20 min. No other signage to indicate the line was moved and even a team member confirmed I was on the right line. I don't like wasting time especially when I'm double parked with my wife and daughter in the car. Finally after getting to the "right line" I'm met with the rudest clerk who was more interested in grabbing my phone rather than saying hello and how are you. I don't expect amazing service at these types of stores but I do expect a little respect and basic pleasantries. After disappearing for 10 minutes I get a box tossed at me and a "have a nice day". Throughout this pandemic I've come across 2 types of employees. The first loves that they have a job and tries to make everyone's day better. The second type is the one that is upset she's not on unemployment getting the extra benefits for the last few months. Needless to say I won't be going back to this location again. I ordered a bike online and called several times to as if A) they could assemble it for me or B) could someone assist me to the car with the large box. You cannot get anyone on the phone who can answer the simplest question. Finally they promised me the builder would be available from 4-8 but only on certain days. More consistently out of stock of items than I've previously noticed. It's not terribly helpful to make a trip to a location and to find the items on your list aren't available. At this rate, I don't think I'd be choosing Target as my first choice to knock out a list that I have. The whole point of a store like Target feels like it's to knock out a list all at once. Management for this location should consider hiring more people or awarding raises to more talented employees to aid with retention.
