The laser scanning device for customers cuts shopping time by 70%. As you enter, the person up front will scan your card and then your cart. Then go directly to the boxes near the store's exit. The trick is to shut the kiddie seat and then scan 3 boxes as soon as you come in - two the long way and then one boc perpendicular to the two. Then shop, scan and put it in the box. After you moderately fill the 3 boxes (so you don't strain yourself putting it in your car after you leave) go back and get 3 more boxes to put on top of the bottom 3. After you finish shopping go to the weighing stations to the left of the cashiers, scan your cart and then the scanning cart to the right of the scale. There will be a ding and a green sign above the sccale - then move to the screens straight ahead and scan the screen. You are done. Now return the laser to the box and just pay with your credit card. read more

I got home from bingo Inwood 10 mins ago and am still shaking ! the cashier was beyond rude. I was at the register right in front of exit. there was a 90 year old man in front of me. his groceries went the right side. mine went to the left. he was a bit slow, I understandably. (he should be well and live independently until 120!). the cashier wouldn't lift a finger to help either of us pack even though line was huge. She handed me the receipt while 300 dollars of groceries was on the refister waiting to be packee. I put the receipt in one of the bags. I was in front of the cashier and the exit. She wouldn't let me leave without the receipt. Like hell was I going to go empty 20 Bags to find the receipt! When to customer service. She apologized and escorted me to the register. She had the cashier print out another receipt and let me go. what a terrible experience. If the line is out the door the cashier can lift a finger to help pack!!!! Shame on her and shame on bingo !!!! read more

Great store in Borough Park Brooklyn. They need to consider their elderly customers and add a seating area for them. That would be a nice addition and a win/win!! read more

My last review was removed because I mentioned their hiring practices. So here's a new review that doesn't explicitly mention their hiring practices: Pathmark was a shit-hole. Bingo is also one, but spruced up. They carry random ass CPG brands, and their produce is terrible and expensive. They also don't bag your groceries for you. read more

DISAPPOINTING!! Good thing the membership is free because that is exactly what it's worth. Pricing not great. Eggs were cheap but not cage-free. Customer service TERRIBLE and unprofessional (eating nuts while I am talking to her... chewing with her mouth open) Asked about country of origin of fish. Person in seafood said to ask customer service. Person in customer service said to check with seafood. They paged someone to come to customer service to answer my question... the first person said everything comes from Israel.... then the next person said "we have no idea where our fish come from" sorry (not sorry). I left my brand new free courtesy card there as I will not be needing it at all. read more

This store does false advertising please be aware! They are not honest. I just drove over an hour because I heard they were having a sale saw an ad from them, when I arrived they were sold out. I found out that they had extremely limited quantity, selling out with- 40 minutes. They advertise only as a marketing gimmick to get people into the store. They also have huge lines and are understaffed. Any staff they do have are abused and over worked. #Facts This has been confirmed. I say shop with honest stores. read more

My wife just got ripped off at Bingo. 15 dz. Eggs were showing 2.49 $ per dozen. At the register she was charged 2.79 $ per dozen. Manager refused to honor pricing listed. Disgusting customer service. Will never shop here again. Must honor signs posted. read more

The store opens at 10am. I got there at 940 and the doors were open. I was unaware of their policy. So this supermarket just opened up about 3 weeks ago and already it's swamped. It replaced the old Pathmark that shutdown. And after losing Walbaums too, you can tell the locals from the neighborhood were in need of a new place to shop. A lot of the items are kosher foods & generic brand items. They do have some main brands as well. They have a great and fresh produce section for those who can't find parking near 3 Guys from Brooklyn. The aisles are wide, clean, and organized. The area is nicely lit if you plan on shopping there at night. They are CLOSED on ,SATURDAYS, so just keep that in mind. They even have a hot food selection in the back. This place can get crowded really quick, especially at night. Nothing really negative about the store but the patrons come with their entire family and if you're not shopping, really did you need to be there??? This causes some unnecessary traffic between the aisles. Overall, you can get most of your groceries from here on the cheap. read more

I've been shopping at this store from day of opening. I have spent in this store 10's of thousands of dollars. I was always an avid customer and fan of this store. That all was. Until for the first time I needed to approach customer service. Have they ever been trained in customer service? I don't think so. You would think that the store Manager would know how to deal with a customer. That is also far from the truth. To the contrary. His actions borders with criminality. This week they had an item on sale @ two for $3.00. That's a bargain I bought it. I reviewed the receipt and noticed I have been charges $5.00 for this item. Now, $2.00 won't make me or brake me. Nevertheless I went back to the store and that's when it all started. When I spoke to the CS clerk and pointed out the error to her, she didn't even listen to me. When I asked for her name, she wouldn't give it to me. Finally the Manager comes around. I showed him the error. He didn't grasp what I was telling him. I had to tell it to him over and over 3 times till he caught it. He said he's gonna check it out. That should take exactly a minute or less, but that took him 10 minutes +. He then shows me a picture of the item with a sign that says two for $5.00. Not so difficult now to figure out what took him 10 minutes. Is it? Changing a sign takes longer than a minute. He suggested to the clerk to file charges against me for harassment. I asked for his name, and he refused to give it to me at first. Then tells me his name is "Moshe Farkas". I don' believe him, but that is the only name I can go by. This big shot manager is so unsure of himself, that he was afraid to reveal his name. He looks like he's coming from a country that used t be communist. One of those whom you give an ounce of a authority and thinks he owns the world and the world owes him everything. Lol. Needless to say, price was not honored. Think I should ever step into that store again? Well, not before the one who says his name is "Moshe Farkas" is dismissed. read more

You can take the girl away from her traditional Jewish upbringing, but you can't take the traditional Jewish upbringing away from the girl. Because even though I've strayed about as far from kosher eating as you can get, I still find myself drawn by curiosity to supermarkets like this: Since I had been under the impression this is an Israeli chain operating under a different name, I expected some fun products from Israel. Especially Milky, individually packaged chocolate pudding topped with whipped cream that totally eclipses good old Jello as a lunch box stuffer. But alas, no Milky was to be found, nor enough Israeli products to make it worth my while, *as far as I could tell*. Since this store is being billed as a "kosher Costco without the membership," I am guessing lots of big-name imported products would defeat the whole concept of providing affordable food shopping to the observant Jewish community. So there you go. Bottom line: Am sure that if I were a kosher-keeping Mama on a tight budget, I'd be doing a happy jig over this place. Plus am sure that the free self-parking and decent prices for certain staples and produce will draw plenty of random locals. ps I think Tahini may have had a recent moment. Maybe it's still having one. All I know for sure is that we go through a lot of the stuff. So I was happy to find a container of Achva (Israeli :)) Tahini for significantly less than elsewhere (I'm looking at you, Pomegranate.). Start stocking Milky and I just may be back. read more

I love the prices, love the huge aisles, love the variety. I hate the cashiers! Their nasty attitudes are completely uncalled for. Very rude and lazy cashier. There were grapes on sale and the grapes barcodes were not scanning at the register. The cashier said she can't sell it because it was not scanning. After a few more attempts to scan it, she repeats the same thing and said she can't sell it. After telling her we would go back to take a picture of the shelf barcode of the grapes which was not full which means they sold it before. She called the manager and the manager said it needs to be in the system. The cashier just left the grapes on the side. We walked back to the grapes shelf and took a picture of the barcode on the shelf and went straight to customer service. They scan the shelf barcode and were able to sell the grapes. If the lazy cashier on register 12 would just move her lazy butt instead of saying the same thing over and over again "I cant sell it" like a zombie. What kind of customer service was she offering. She was rude towards us afterwards because we want to buy the grapes. read more

The place itself is satisfactory. The reason as to why I give this place 2 stars is because of the employees that work there, especially a cashier named "Yasodra," who I believe must have been around her teenage years. Buyers, please be aware that she is a racist person. She mocks other people who do not speak fluent English. She mocked my family, thinking that my family did not understand, nor comprehend English. She pretended to speak in a foreign language, not knowing as to what she was saying. When confronted, she simply said "I am not mocking your language," in a broken English accent. I hope that Bingo management will soon discipline her. read more

You won't find delivery service and you can't get your groceries packed in boxes as in a typical kosher grocery. Prices are kept to a minimum and these services add cost and aren't provided. Why shop here? Because it resolves most of the problems you would encounter going to a typical grocery. 1. Free self parking for several hundred cars. Nuff said. 2. At 11:30 p.m. clerks were still manning all fifteen of the fifteen registers. The store also has baggers so lines move quickly. 3. Shelves are fully stocked. and regular prices are great. For example, 1.5 dozen eggs for $.99 cents, potatoes for $.39 per pound, Persian cucumbers for $1.79 etc. The chicken was cheaper than the discount stores. Note, certain items may be cheaper at your local grocer if you buy them on sale. 4. In-house bakery is Stern's. In-house deli is Hadar Geulah. You may have other preferences but the selection is great, food is fresh and reasonably priced. 5. Large selection of disposable plain and fancy tableware. I didn't check the prices. I believe they had some housewares also but I didn't check as I was not shopping for those items at 11:30 p.m. It really is one-stop shopping. ** If your credit card provides additional points for grocery stores you will not get points here since the credit card recognizes Bingo as a wholesale club. read more

Not really Costco style. There are some items in bulk but many other items I would expect to find in large /bulk sizes were not there. i.e. herring, small size only. Large humous only 1 brand. Dairy items pretty much like everyone else. Not even gallon size bottles of milk. Takeout is well priced but no different than other supermarkets. There are some very good buys but really depends on the items. Was not happy that the chopped meat was brown covered with a thin layer of red. I have read that can happen naturally, but there are other stores I shop at where it does not happen. Great and expansive parking availability. Overall a good store that could improve. read more

Loved the new store in Lakewood, NJ! Nice selection of groceries, produce and household items. Particularly was impressed with the loose candy, nuts and spice aisles. The smells are delicious, and they roast their own nuts right there in the store! Wish they had a fresh appetizing counter, in a perfect world. My only real complaint is with the cashier, who didn't know the difference between regular cucumbers that were advertised in store as 2/$1, and "Persian Kirbies"--got overcharged. She also didn't know how to use the dual checkout, so was caught waiting for the couple in front of me to finish bagging lots of groceries, before I was able to bag mine. So their cashiers need better training, but I'll definitely go back. read more

Great prices, well organized into isles that are kosher for Passover and not. Overall good selection. Lots of employees who do not speak English. Do you think someone working in the produce section would know what a horseradish root is before Passover? No shank bones...manager for butcher section said I should buy a $20 shank of lamb and throw the meat away if I needed a bone for my seder plate. Are you kidding? While employees were wearing masks properly, mask wearing was not enforced amongst the customers. Many customers dressed as though religious, either not wearing masks or wearing them around their chin. Are you really G-d fearing if you don't care about the health of others? My order filled several bags. of course I had to pack myself, threw the receipt in a random bag, s the cashier checked more customers out. I didn't know that I would not be allowed out of the store without showing my receipt and of course didn't know which bag it was in. Had to go back to the cashier to have a new receipt printed. Excellent prices and selection of kosher foods in this former Pathmark space. I had fond and warm memories of going to Pathmark with my aunt and grandmother as a kid, but this store is superb. They had great prices and selection for Passover, and the meat department is under strict hashgacha of the CRC, with many Bet Yosef cuts available. They do sell OU-D items, which is a convenience for those who use them, as well as a decent array of cheeses and baked goods. I will be making this a regular place, and the fact that they have the parking garage is a huge benefit. read more
