I have looked online for a Sofa Bed and find it a daunting task. I have no idea what they look like in person, or the quality of the item. So I wandered into Joybird just to get an idea of what is out there. I spoke with Eugenia over the phone before heading over and she was really sweet. Upon entering the Showroom I first noticed a stunning gold velvet couch in the front window; Mid Century Modern, with a gorgeous MCM chair across from it. I have never been a huge fan of MCM but my husband is. After chatting at length with a different Saleswoman named Jane I ended up ordering the Mid Century Modern sofa bed in gold velvet, along with the floor model MCM chair, also in a gold toned fabric. The chair fit perfectly in my car so I excitedly drove it home. The chair looks fabulous in our living room and I am actually in LOVE with Mid Century Modern now! Can't wait for our made to order Sofa Bed to arrive. Jane was really great about guiding me through the process of choosing the right pieces. I started to order a different style of couch but at the last second my instincts prompted me to go with that gorgeous MCM piece. Jane was very patient and cordial with me even though they were trying to close. Her Customer Service is excellent! I can see by reading some of the Reviews that a few people have had a regrettable experience, and that IS a bummer! But MOST of the Reviews are positive and I'm confident that my experience will remain positive. Looking forward to enjoying our beautiful pieces for many years. That's if our cat Milo behaves himself. (I did purchase the Pet Protection Plan, lol). read more

Horrible customer service - quality of cushions is very poor - started to complain about them in only 3 months of use. Buyer beware before throwing your money away on this company I wish I would of did my research before making a $3,800 purchase on Joybird There is definitely NO JOY in this company read more

Friendly and professional delivery drive. Great communication. Chair is beautiful! Great products and service oriented company.

Love the style and look of our new piece. The material we choose is super soft. a perfect level to add to our place. Delivery and assembly were also flawless. read more

Great experience! Both designers with whom we worked - Cae and Suz- made us feel very comfortable, with no pressure. They knew the inventory and helped walk us through options. And for a piece they didn't carry, even suggested optional sites. Good inventory , great people! read more

Don't do it. The production of the sofa has not even started, but you can't cancel ! The time guesstimate has been pushed back three times already and this is before they even started production. One month later and they have not even started ! Instant regret !!! So they have not started production at all in the last month. I can't cancel, but I can return once they delivered it never year ?! lol makes perfect scenes. Scam of a company! B read more

Buy elsewhere. They look fine, but construction is terrible and customer service is worse. I purchased a sleeper sofa for over $2300.00-on sale from $3,300.00. It's passable as a couch, but unusable as a sleeper. The bed folds into itself out of the box. It's uncomfortable for one and unusable for two. When I inquired, Joybird said that this is a commone feature of ALL sleeper sofas everywhere and they directed to Amazon to purchase an item for $130 that would help mitigate the issue. I expect more from a couch that they say is worth over $3,000. Poly & Bark is a way better option for a similar price point. Go to them. read more

We bought a sofa, which was delivered on October 23. It broke within a week because of faulty installation. We contacted the customer service and initiated a warranty claim on October 30, we are still waiting for a final response on when they will fix it, and on what kind of compensation will they provide because we will be without a sofa most likely for over a month. Making things worse I have folks coming for Thanksgiving, which I'm supposed I guess to sit on an imaginary sofa. I have contacted them every day, only to get a different customer service associate repeating that they can only discuss compensation after the claim is closed, and to not provide me with a clear date. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOP. IT LOOKS PRETTY but it depends on work in Mexico, which makes for even replacing the foot of the sofa a nightmare. read more

After days of browsing various different furniture stores, Joybird's showroom and selection definitely stood out to us! We really love how Joybird offers couches of various heights, the object of our search, especially since we were looking for something a bit lower to the ground. Ana was very attentive as soon as we stepped foot in the store. We spent some time looking around on our own at first, and she came to check on us once we took out the measuring tape. After getting a good sense of what we were looking for, she talked us through the specifications of a couple different couches that sounded like the right fit, landing on the Lewis sectional. Ana patiently answered all of our questions with expertise, without any pressure to buy. She sent us home with a box of swatches and her email, in case we decided to move forward with a purchase. As it turned out, this is exactly what we ended up doing. My partner and I are so excited for our very first big furniture purchase together! We ended up going with the Royale Forest Lewis Sectional, paired with contrasting Royale Hacienda decorative pillows. Very much looking forward to receiving these in the coming month and a half! read more

I am only reviewing Joybird's website and ordering platform. I did not visit a showroom, nor have I received my order at this point. The found the website to be excellent and user friendly. The platform made it easy to jump from style to style and see the different materials and colors available for each piece. Of course, the measurements provided for each piece is quite important and very handy. I appreciated the availability of reviews as well. The proof will be in the pudding once I receive my order of three pieces. read more

It's a fabulous showroom and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a great selection of furniture and a large variety of colors and fabrics. Our person, John, was perfect: he was there when we had questions and left us to our own devices when we needed to try things out or talk things over. He is knowledgeable and was very helpful with the final details. John was never pushy and remain patient and positive throughout our meandering visit. Thank You! This outdoor couch took my space from empty and bland to elegant and chic. The number one comment I get is how fancy it is. However, they don't see how durable and easy to clean it is. I love this piece because it is a metal frame, not plastic. I originally had my eye on a wooden set, but knew this would hold up over time. The day I got it two dogs jumped up on it with muddy paws and it cleaned up surprisingly well with a little effort. Overall, I am so happy about my purchase. read more

Store Leader, Richard Lee in the SF Store, provided excellent service and interior design advice. Highly recommended.

I'm back for my fifth furniture purchase with Joybird. I've purchased the Preston Sofa Set twice for two different homes. The first set was asked by the buyer to be included in the purchase of the house. I've supported them since the early days when they were a much smaller operation out of Austin, TX. I was so glad that quality and service did not decline when they were later acquired my Lay-Z-Boy. I re-purchased the set again for our new home years ago and it still looks and functions as if it's brand new. Most recently, I purchased the Lewis single arm chaise and Lewis Grand Daybed for our theatre room. Perfect pieces to enjoy movies on with the family! I've also purchased the Blair chair and a half twin sleeper for our primary bedroom for occasions when our daughter wants to have a sleepover with mom and dad Then, just yesterday I purchased the Wilder Twin Sofa Sleeper for my home office for an extra sleeping space for guests. As long as Joybird maintains the same standards as they always have, I'll continue to invest in their beautiful, high quality furniture and recommend them to friends and family without hesitation, read more

I've been researching joybird for about a year now, trying to decide which sofa to buy. I finally went to a showroom and was immediately assisted by a great sales staff named Vince. He showed me several swatches and styles and made my decision more definite. I am so happy that I went to the showroom. I was able to purchase a couch and a chair for a significantly low cost due to the items being on sale. I can't wait for my couch and chair. read more

We were happy to be greeted by Lilly immediately upon walking into the Joybird store, as she approached us and introduced herself. We told her our needs and that I had been viewing the sofas with loungers online and had to see the colors and fabrics in person. She listened carefully and helped us decide on a great sofa with coordinating cushions in the (cat-friendly) fabric that would work great. Happily, our choices were available in ready-to-ship so we are expecting delivery in a short time! In addition, Lilly offered some great design ideas and we are planning to collaborate on furniture and accessories arrangement in our new home. She seemed genuinely excited to offer this great service! read more

I got my nearly $3000 sectional in 5/24. I've used the sleeper portion exactly 3 times. After the 3rd time some kind of silver bar fell on the floor and a silver handle like thing was hanging from the bottom of the bed. Customer service just informed me... not their problem, but I still have "lifetime " warranty. I don't know the point of a lifetime warranty if it covers nothing that's part of the sofa? Two weeks ago I purchased a lazy boy recliner, which I will attempt to cancel. I will also contact every consumer protection agency I can. Very expensive but very poor quality product. read more
