Gabe made us feel comfortable with our decision, gave us all the information we wanted, and actually drove out to our house multiple times to chat when we had additional questions and concerns. Is Aloha a smaller company, yes, but will Gabe answer your call when needed, yes! Fast forward install happened within a couple weeks of signing the deal. Minas was the head installer it seemed (all people are internal employees with Aloha and work is NOT contracted out, that was a big seller for us), and two other guys Rigo and Matt. All were super nice and very professional. Minas walked me through everything at the end, and major bonus points once he installed the piping going from battery to roof, he asked if I had paint that matched the exterior of my house. I did, and he then painted all of the piping! I know he did not have to do that, so that was a fantastic touch. After months of follow-ups, delays, and waiting for management to finalize the paperwork, I was suddenly informed that the company had implemented a "new process" requiring a non-refundable $1,000 payment before they would process the application, engineering review, or other preliminary work.

I compared Baker to another company and though slightly more expensive, I went with Baker believing they were a larger and more reputable company than the other installer. Every step in the process, outside of signing the contract and making payments of course, did not go according to original explanation. And now....8 months after installation...I need a service technician to come inspect the system to see why my electricity keeps going in and out at night, possibly related to the battery. I was told by an agent that I would be charged $750 for the service call if it turns out the issue is not covered under the warranty. I have never paid $750 for a service call in my life. I have no way of knowing if what's going on is an installation issue and my trust in this company is extremely low after them not doing a single thing as originally described throughout the process. So disappointed. Go elsewhere.

Bad experience from workers ruined our roof by making wrong holes and causing leaks damage!…read moreIf you have good experience with them, you are lucky but I am not lucky! Starting with workers made wrong several holes on our roof and said no worries, said no Leaks for sure! A week after the rain, water leaked through hole in my bedroom and living room! We emailed the company and no response but finally emailed the CEO, got quick response and worker came right away to fix with an upset mood! I noticed they were so rough and not gentle at all during the time they worked on the roof. Maybe it had to be that way but I noticed that and worried. Next, workers came to continue work and 1-2 weeks after of rain, there are water leaks through my roof and my wall! I suggest you choose the company that your family or friends or neighbors used before. I'm so disappointed with the workers from this company because it caused us long term damage to fix the wall now and we moved to this house a year ago with no issues until they came to settle the solar panel. Really disappointed:(
