Childcare is a joke. Three people for about 100 kids and one of them just did checkin and check out. No infants that are sleeping are allowed to stay in their stroller. Crawlers out of the week Brandt area around the big kids, big kids in theater room sitting on the high seat backs, big kids running through the infant area. What a mess and unsafe environment! Will be looking for another gym. read more

Love this club. Tons of equipment to choose from, friendly staff and comfortable environment even at its busiest time.

DO NOT JOIN!! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES JOIN THIS GYM!!! I joined this gym in Oct 2014 and i have regretted it ever since. First of all, the $10/ month is a LIE. It is $10/month + an upfront $200 and something just to join + monthly gym maintenance. Then they will try push 'organic' supplements (that wound up giving me a rash). Note: I am not allergic to anything organic, i have been tested, so these were definitely NOT organic based supplements. The day I signed up, right before putting pen to paper, I told them I would be traveling for month and did not want to pay for a month of gym membership i was not going to use. The guy said it was not a problem and it was easy skip a month. Another LIE. A month before i was supposed to leave i go to the gym and ask to hold off deducting their ridiculous fee from my account and that is when the circus began. Not only did it take me a few weeks to get a clear answer on the cancellation procedure (which included mailing an official letter requesting cancellation) but this gym continues to try and charge my account for membership services I cancelled in November! I have had to call my bank and put a 'stop payment' order on this merchant and I'm STILL trying to get them to remove me from their system, but of course they are dragging their feet. I will never recommend them to anyone. My advice to you is if you need a gym go to YMCA or get on youtube and do at home workouts because though their facility is well equipped, their customer service and business ethics are lacking, at best! read more

Large facility for a low price. Signed up today with the manager Reggie, awesome guy. He was knowledgeable and helpful. Gave us a tour and answered all our questions. Minus one star for not having a pool. read more

This facility is not bad at all! Upon entering the building, I'm always greeted in a professional manner by staff. Furthermore, the cycling classes at this particular location is quite challenging, yet fun!! Trust me, the cycling instructors will get your body right and tight!!! read more

Great prices, location, and equipment. I have a trainer at another gym near downtown so I just go here at lunch to do cardio or work on some stuff I need to improve. Slightly older crowd - reflects the Woodlands. Plenty of parking, plenty of machines. I enjoy it. read more

I've been a member for the past 3 years and I absolutely love this club. Came in to get a replacement tag and Reggie Dees the GM helped me out hassle free and also made a workout recommendation after hearing a little bit about my goals. Awesome gym read more

Generally happy with this facility and the staff, but area management needs lessons in public relations. On 20 December 2018 I returned to my locker after exercising at The Fitness Connection in The Woodlands, TX, where I have been a member since 2010. My lock had been removed and my wallet was missing. My cell phone was still there and on it were texts from American Express and Visa alerting me to possible fraudulent charges on my cards at a nearby Target. The staff at The Woodlands club were most helpful in contacting the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department, in taking a detailed report, and in giving me a new card to gain entry to the club. I realize that the members at Fitness Connection accept responsibility for items left in lockers, however Fitness Connection also has the responsibility of providing a safe environment. Nothing was given to me by the staff at Fitness Connection as a good will gesture - no T-shirt, no free use of a locker in the common area, or anything. All these would have been good business promotion/ retention ideas, but sadly nothing was done. On two weeks later I discussed my concerns with the staff that nothing had been done and as a good will gesture I felt Fitness Connection should at least provide free membership for the next year. This person took my number and said the area manager would contact me in 24 hours. Didn't hear from him. On 16 January I brought my concern to the club manager and was told I would be contacted within 24 hours. Didn't hear from him. On 21 January I told the club manager I had not heard anything and was told the reason was that it was the MLK holiday. Did I hadn't heard from him. Finally on 11 February after asking for his name and email, I heard from John Lewis, the district manager. He restating the Fitness Connection that members were responsible for items left in lockers, but he would see about providing some item such as a T-shirt in lieu of a year of membership. Here it is 20 February and I have heard or received NOTHING. This theft has cost me roughly $400 which was in my wallet (way more than I normally carry, but this was due to the holidays), and it also gave me the hassle of having to get a new driver's license, cancel and get new credit cards and insurance cards, plus get a new wallet. Good customer relations obviously do not exist with the management of Fitness Connection. But in the meantime, The Woodlands club is well maintained, has excellent equipment, and a good staff. Sad that the management cares nothing about customer relations. read more

Me and two of my friends went to the cycling class 4th of July and it was the most amazing experience we could imagine. The instructor Ray was the most energetic cycling teacher I've ever had and really knew how to pump up the class and make them hype even with a messed up foot. She definitely kept me going I will definitely join more of her classes. If you ever go to this Fitness Connection on Woodlands and sawdust make sure you take her class. There was no disappointment I felt like a new person when I walked out of there plus a little sore. LOL thank you Ray for such an amazing experience read more

This location only gets a two star because of price point and convenience of there location. I live less then a mile away so it's kinda of hard to beat that. Over the last couple of weeks of me going in some of the things I've seen have really bothered me to core. I've literally seen mangers walk around and pick and chose who they police on the mask policy. Don't get me wrong I'm all for the mask policy what I'm not for is when the management crew picks and chooses who they want to enforce that policy ON. I don't know all of the staff by name but there are a few friendly staff members who are awesome, welcoming and make me want to come back but then you have the rude ones who really make you wanna consider paying more and going some where else. read more

Friendly staff here, he helped me with what I needed and he wasn't trying to sell me like, he was like just look around, let me know if you need anything! will recommend this place read more

If you are looking for a gym membership do not go here. When I first started going here I was excited and even signed up for personal training as I knew it would help me keep myself accountable. On November 16, 2022 I was charged $440 for the personal training sessions. From November to December my trainer was not in communications with me even after reaching out to her multiple times to try to get a session in even though I paid to have sessions 2 times a week. I talked to the GM Landon and even other managers to resolve the issue and it did not resolve until around February when I called again after being left in the dark for almost a month. I was told "oh yeah I guess Landon forgot to tell you but your account has been zeroed out and we went ahead and canceled your personal training" I then proceeded to ask if refunding my $440 was possible and the request was denied. Overall management and customer service was pretty crappy. The only manager that was pretty helpful was Tevin. He took care of me when the General Manager continued to leave me hanging. read more

Very very good gym and staff in the facility, but terrible communication online, and over the phone. Fitness connection charged our account a substantial amount of money on two occasions and would not reimburse us for this. We contacted the corporate office and they completely ignored our complaint and request for reimbursement. We are now in the process of quitting this gym. I gave fitness connection two stars because it is a very nice, clean, and functional facility, but don't join this gym. read more

The staff here is so unprofessional, first time in guy at front asks "how can i help you?" I tell him my fiance and I are looking to found out some information about joining. He then says "ahh ok im actually taking my break right now!" Then slightly dumps us off onto some girl who was polite but you could tell was caught off guard by what the other guy said. I complained to the customer service dept. online about the lack of professionalism. They issued us 5 day free pass to try it out. My fiancé went again to start her 5 day pass and loser at front said they no longer offer that and he can overide what anyone higher gives us. she said well why give me a free 5 day trail and not honor it. Guy shrugs his head. This place is a joke. Smells like BO and poorly ran. They did everything they could to run us off. Two people who know a-lot of people in fitness industry. You get what you pay for here, just lucky there is a roof on this place. I would love to know the douche who works the front though. Guy seems to have the smallest amount of power. read more

I think overall this business is doing a great job at maintaining the establishment clean during Covid and enforcing the rules with mask . I do understand you can't please everyone and keep everyone happy or write a review based on you're one bad experience. I could be upset because a manager tells me to put on my mask properly and I'm just trying to get a good workout or I could be glad that he's Doing it for my safety and he's just doing his job. They also are doing a great job at providing paper towels and disinfectant to wipe down your machines and having soap in the the restroom. Except this 1 time I went they didn't have soap 1 out of 10 times but I kindly told the guy in the front desk and they refilled it. read more

BE CAREFUL! We had a lost credit card and our credit card company had to issue new cards. While we were making the changes, our monthly membership fee was charged and returned before we had the opportunity to update our billing information. Fitness Connection charged us a return fee and late fee because of this, even though we went in to update our information (you cannot do it online). After talking to corporate, they were not willing to waive the fees without us supplying them with a letter from police stating our card was stolen. Unbelievable. No other company or organization does this. They simply update your billing info. Poor policy. They lost 3 members. read more

I have been a member for several months now and I'm not sure what these other people are complaining about. If you want to video yourself working out, why wouldn't you ask prior to obtaining a membership? Every business has policies, maybe you should have found out what they were prior to forking over you hard earned money. ALso, when you sign up for a membership, you can see the facilities and you are introduced to their trainers on your initial consultation. They lay the price out, but as any good sales person will tell you, anything is negotiable...whether it be on your 'first' visit, or anytime afterward. This is a gym, and like any other business you get what you see and if you have questions you should ask them ahead of time. That being said, I asked questions, and I didn't like their answers or their prices, so I turned down everything they tried to sell me, other than a basic membership. Tip to the wise on ANY transaction, don't believe what they say unless you get it in writing. That goes for the gym business or any other business. Don't be a jellyfish, say no when you mean no and don't agree to anything that's not in writing. Bottom line, I like working out here and I like the separate women's work out room. They have everything I could possibly need (but if they hadn't I would have been smart enough to walk away! ;) read more

BEWARE !!!! Unprofessional and Unethically run! Almost impossible to cancel your membership. Besides having you wait for hours on end to even try to do it in person, they then require certified mail. Even your bank will not cancel them without YOU jumping thru hoops. If this isn't enough to encourage you to look elsewhere for your Fitness Club, when you finally do all these things, they harrass you by phone with multiple calls weekly wanting their $ AFTER you've done everything to cancel. I truly hope the BBB investigates and prosecutes this company. College Student read more

It's an ok gym, I mean you get what you pay for. But I do have to say I came in today and the staff members didn't even acknowledge me. I said "hi" to the lady while handing her my card membership and she didn't even smile or looked at me. Kind of disappointed being that I'm spending my money here every month. T'was a month before Christmas and all through the town, People wore masks that covered their frown. The frown had begun way back in the Spring, When a global pandemic changed everything. They called it corona, but unlike the beer, It didn't bring good times, it didn't bring cheer. Contagious and deadly, this virus spread fast, Like a wildfire that starts when fueled by gas. Airplanes were grounded, travel was banned. Borders were closed across air, sea and land. As the world entered lockdown to flatten the curve, The economy halted, and folks lost their nerve. From March to July we rode the first wave, People stayed home, they tried to behave. When summer emerged - the lockdown was lifted. But away from caution, many folk drifted. Now it's November and cases are spiking, Wave two has arrived, much to our disliking. Frontline workers - Doctors and nurses, Try to save people from riding in hearses. This virus is awful. This COVID-19. There isn't a cure; there is no vaccine. It's true that this year has had sadness a plenty, We'll never forget The year 2020. And just 'round the corner - the holiday season, But how to be merry? Is there even one reason To decorate the house and put up the tree, When no one will see it, no-one but me? But outside my window the snow gently falls, And I think to myself, 'Let's deck the halls!' So, I gather the ribbon, the garland and bows, As I play those old carols, my happiness grows. Christmas isn't cancelled and neither is hope. If we lean on each other, I know we can cope. Copy and Paste. Too good not to read more

I've been a member for a while now and for 10 dollars, you can't beat it. They got plenty of equipment, and it all works. Like any gym peak hours are crowded, but this is normal. This is a place where you go sweat, so don't listen to the naysayers. It's an awesome value for the price you pay. The staff are friendly and very nice, all of them! Never met anyone that has been rude. One staff member in particular, I think her name is Alexis, quite frankly never seen anyone be nicer to everyone. But overall everyone is very polite and very nice. read more

If you could pick negative stars I would. The gym is fine, but the customer service is by far the worst I've ever experienced. Once they have your credit card/account number they think they can continue to charge whatever they want for however long they want. When you call they don't fix anything. If you ask to talk to a manager conveniently they are not there or they say they are forwarding you to them and it goes back to menu options. I basically went for a month and it has costed me almost $200. read more

They are definitely superstars and should b rewarded . Keep up the good work . ill definitely be recommending this gym to anyone that's looking . It is nearly impossible to cancel your membership. Even without a contract, they have it set up where it's not easy at all. Took me over 6 hours on the phone over a 4 day span to get it done. SIX HOURS ON THE PHONE to cancel my membership, oh and it takes 60 days so be prepared to pay another couple of months even if you don't use it. If you want to waste money...go to this gym. I love this gym. Clean, friendly, and class instructors kick our bodies into shape. We use the kids club and the staff are really caring.

This location does not enforce the mask policy. Over half the gym goers wear their masks under their chin, below their nose or take them off completely. Today there was a lady with a violent cough that would take her mask from her mouth to exhale. I understand taking your mask off to drink water but that is not the case here. They have multiple employees at the check in counter and only to people checking folks in. They should have people monitoring the gym floor making sure everyone is following the rules. I have spoken with corporate about this twice so Im assuming they wont care until the health department shuts them down. read more

Horrible horrible horrible place I wish there was a zero star rating. They are SCAM ARTISTS. They stole so much money from me after cancelling my gym membership SEVERAL times in person, on the phone, and on their website they directed me to. I went in to talk to them about it and said that only corporate could help me and asked me to leave! Such rude people working there. I'm sure they're all used to how many people go in there with similar complaints as me and have learned to just shoo away all the angry customers in order for their scam to not be exposed to current members. Seriously read all the reviews before starting a membership with them. I wish I did. read more

The Customer Service is very unprofessional. When you sign up for the membership, they don't tell you everything. You get charged double and they won't lower you payments. They are robbing people. They have all the weights and cardio equipment you need. They have a room dedicated to only women as well, which is nice. While working out there, I enjoyed it. Plenty of tv's too. The one bad thing about them is if you need to cancel your membership with them, it is a big hassle. First you have to call their corporate office, then they tell you that you need to write them a letter requesting cancellation to a po box. They even suggest doing mail certified. Really? It should not be that difficult to cancel membership. Ridiculous. read more
