I am not a person who has ever loved to work out or a considered myself gym rat, but this gym makes working out a pleasant experience.

It can get hot in here during the summer months. Make sure to either bring proper hydration or you can buy a bottle / jug at the front desk.

I asked one politely to please go outside to the lobby which she did. I asked another politely and she just laughed at me and kept it up for another 20 minutes. I'd had enough and raised my voice to tell her to please take it outside. So one of the front desk people came in and told me my behavior was unacceptable and made them the victim! I was told they allow people to talk on their phones! She was a young girl as were the phone talkers and I'm just an old codger causing trouble. This is so rude. Talking on a cell phone while on a treadmill presents notable safety risks, reduces workout intensity, and breaches standard gym etiquette. Research indicates that conversing on a phone negatively impacts your balance by 19% and significantly lowers your average heart rate and treadmill speed. Loss of Balance: Multitasking divides your attention, causing you to fall out of sync with the machine and significantly increasing the likelihood of tripping or falling. Slips and Drops: Running while holding your phone can easily lead to the device slipping and falling off the machine. Keep it Low/Brief: If you absolutely must take an urgent call, keep the phone to your ear (or use headphones) and keep the conversation to 30 to 60 seconds. Using the speakerphone is widely considered rude and distracting to other gym-goers

Also, the place is always clean with cleaning stations throughout. Additionally, my only interaction with the people working there is usually at the front desk when I sign in and they're always very professional, super nice and go above and beyond to greet you when you arrive. Half of them know me by name when I walk in now and I never had that at 24 Hour Fitness when I would go there. Apparently EOS isn't a fit for everyone but, I find it to be pretty much perfect for myself...plus, its only 5 minutes from my house which is awesome! The only factor that keeps me from giving it a 5 is that the only weight equipment for legs and glutes is a squat rack. I would love leg press, leg extension, and leg curl equipment.

I was never much of a gym rat and I wasn't so sure about this place at first - is it going to be just another gym? But it slowly grew on me and became my daily norm. Not going to lie, I LOATHE working out! I tell many people the same! That said, I DO enjoy the small group setting, the 30 minutes HIIT workouts & all of the women that I have had the pleasure of crossing paths with over the years.
