I asked the local management if I could get out of my contract. They said I didn't meet the qualifications for cancellation. I am explain to them that I work 12 hours a day and then add 3 hours of coaching with drive time, I physically didn't have time. They sorry for you bad luck and you still have to pay us. The fine print says that management can cancel for any reason. I have emailed regional management and have gotten no response. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone.

I deal with chronic pain due to multiple injuries to my wrist. She told me how the unit has helped her with back issues, so I was sold on it. It helps immensely with the pain and swelling I suffer daily. The counter staff has been constantly helpful and friendly, always willing to help out in anyway they can. Karli, Gabby, and Destiny are truly top-notch staff. I enjoy coming in daily to their smiling faces and asking how the day has been going, etc. Perhaps the best part of the investment I've made at the gym is the personalized training plan and workout classes with Danielle. She was very helpful in setting up the plan and was eager to accommodate the chronic pain issues. The energy and positivity she brings into the rooms when she teaches class is contagious and makes even the most difficult of exercises and sessions breeze by. She is a great source of encouragement on those days when I am dragging and don't really feel like working out. I appreciate having the support in the gym, especially with the steep goal I have set for myself. If I had one complaint, it would be the music. I don't know how people can get motivated to work out to poppy music. It's distracting at best. If I had one request, I would ask that the trainers, or even members, working in the isolated areas like the PF 360 or 30 Minute Circuit be allowed to bring in their own music, kept a reasonable volume, to have some good music to pump to.

Maybe its time for another gym to pop up in this area. If its similar, but fully staffed I'm done with Planet Fitness.

The building is always clean and smells great despite being a gym where everyone is sweating. We've had some financial hiccups (covid2020) and they were happy to pause our account without charging!! We are moving and thus leaving the gym as it'll be way too far and they simply cancelled the account with no fees no bargaining of any kind. Low pressure, clean environment and all around great gym! The most frustrating part of canceling my membership was how every time I went in, I was told, "Oh, you also need to do this," again and again--completely exhausting. Terry, the general manager, was incredibly kind--even when I was frustrated and impatient--always professional, patient, and consistent. Because of Terry's helpfulness and understanding during this confusing process, I'm increasing my rating from 2 to 4 stars. His genuine assistance has made all the difference in what otherwise felt like an overwhelming experience.

There are plenty of free weights, circuit equipment, treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, and other workout equipment. The best part of the gym is the atmosphere. There are people of all ages and body types. Everyone is friendly and you get a great vibe there. The gym is open 24/7 and the owner, AO, is almost always there. He is the nicest guy! He showed me how to use some of the equipment without making me feel stupid for not knowing how to use it. I love that there's no contract and you can go month to month. The prices are extremely reasonable and he gives discounts to teachers, veterans, and others. I highly recommend this gym! Give it a try!

I was never near another gym (unless on vacation one time) therefore I was unaware of how different they could be/membership prices from each location. This gym is brand new apparently. You walk in and are for some reason loudly and uncomfortably welcomed on a speaker... and then 6 feet in front of you an employee appears out of their office. I brought another member and a guest and was basically body blocked by the huge and socially awkward trainer. He made us all feel super unwelcome. Granted anytime fitness asks that you bring guests during staffed hours I didn't realize this gym was staffed only till 7pm and we had walked in at 6:52pm. He recommended I "view the hours posted on the door and take a picture of it so I don't forget." This was after informing me that "guest hours end in 8 minutes." This is the only reason I know exactly what time we arrived at... I had just informed him this was my first time at this location... it was just a little aggressive? As a person who works in customer service a "I'm so sorry our guest hours are about to end please bring them tomorrow" definitely would have sufficed and made me feel a lot more comfortable and less diminished. Also by my own fault I was unaware that the prices between gyms fluctuated so vastly. I've only been to one/two other locations so it was never brought to my attention. This gym offers two BI-WEEKLY memberships starting at around 23$. Crazy... but okay it's brand new and the location is nice. I asked about changing my home gym and what I would need to do because we were there so might as well ask... Trainer: "I don't know what you pay" Me: "Oh alright, so my membership cost would change?" Trainer: "Well everyone here *motions to open gym behind me* pays this so you would too." Again, not the way I would've presented it to someone who has already announced to you that this is my first time at your location but you run your gym the way you want. I will not be returning to this location and plan on meeting staff at another location tomorrow to discuss what all needs to happen for a home gym transfer or to put in my written notice to cancel my membership. This was the worst "Welcome to Montgomery County" I've received so far. Thanks a bunch.
