I've been coming to RAW gym warzone since it opened and it's been consistently incredible! The staff is always very friendly, the place is almost spotless no matter when you go, and the atmosphere is top notch. The locker rooms are always clean too (huge bonus). Whether you're a newbie in the gym, getting back into it, or an athlete, they've got facilities and equipment for you. They have some equipment that you just can't find in most gyms that elevates the whole experience. The owners do a great job of making sure they have the latest and greatest AND all the classic pieces you need. They have a bunch of cool extras too- like gym merch, meals and pre/intra/post workout drinks to purchase, and even supplement samples. Overall, a great place to workout. Whatever your fitness goals are, this gym has everything you need. This place is a no frills, just serious business type of gym and I love it! I typically workout in the early morning hours.However, there was one day where I had to go in the evening. I took one star off my rating because on the evening that I went (after 9pm), the gym was filled with High School age kids who didn't represent the gym well. There were a couple guys in jeans and cowboy boots attempting to workout; a couple guys had their girlfriends following them around as they worked out; a few guys took off their shirts and strutted around; and of course most spent more time on their phones while sitting on the equipment. I hope the owners get a hold of this before it gets worse and sways people away. read more

I want to start off by saying the staff, regulars, and competition and trainer crew at this gym are all great people and I will miss that. The equipment and facility is top notch. When I joined 8 months ago I thought I had found a gym for life, but recently the place has turned into a gym only for high school kids with no etiquette, and it's become over crowded. On top of that I have to pay twice what they do, while waiting behind groups of 4 for areas/machines/benches and get to enjoy their cool guy attitudes. Again, the regulars young and old and the competitors are all great and I will miss them, but I want to enjoy my time in the gym, not deal with high schoolers who pay half what I do. And for the record, given the high quality of the facilities, the monthly membership fee is a great deal. I'll miss working out here. read more

Traveling bodybuilder looking for your spot? This is it! Texas seems to have embraced the hot box gym craze with open arms. There is no shortage of 100deg barbell gyms here. I happened on this gem by chance! Super clean, air conditioning, and the best selection of equipment. I actually mean the equipment was selected. Somebody that actually trains picked these machines. At any rate, not a meat head gym. Just a really good one that beginners and very advanced athletes train. read more

Minus half a star. I'll start with the only "bad" thing I had found. The lighting... yup. The lighting. It's little dark inside could have just been because I came on a gloomy day but it definitely could use a little bit of brighter atmosphere. Other than that this place is really quite nice. Good amount of high quality equipment. Good squat stations and deadlift platforms. All in all a place I would pay to attend if it was significantly closer to my home. I don't know what the rates are but if you're within a half hour it's worth the price. read more

There is not a better facility. No other place has the diversity of high quality RAW Gym Texas has. Good gym & good vibe. I like the people here and the owner is super sweet, but I don't like that I never get cell reception and that the wifi never works. The music they play is alright, but I get a much better workout when I'm able to listen to my own music and loudly with my headphones. I can't though. :/ They also don't have very many 10lb plates. I always have to go searching for them, which is not ideal during prime hours. The facility is always clean and well maintained and there is a good selection of equipment. I would appreciate just one smith machine though, for days when I want to squat super heavy but don't have someone to spot me. read more

I have absolutely LOVED being a member of RAW for over 2 years. I am moving out of the area so have to find a new gym, but the bar that RAW has set is going to be hard to clear! The atmosphere, the staff, the other members, the equipment, facility....everything will be missed. I can't say enough how RAW helped me meet my goals, made it a place I wanted to be and proud to be a member of. Great gym! It's clean and has anything you need for any level of training. The staff is friendly and engaging. It's clean and very well maintained. Although they're many fit types, this isn't a typical "meat head" gym, everyone is friendly and non-judgmental. There's an attached supplement store as well. Pros: The gym is new and, for me, it is conveniently located between my house and work. They do keep it pretty clean. The music is fine. Cons: While the gym is new, many of the machines are old. They have no military press bench, no ab benches, and no shrug machines, and apparently no plans to get any. They have no soap or HOT water in the showers, so nobody can work out, change and go to work. No towels either. The lockers are too small to hold normal gym bags or hangers. They have TVs but they are on sport channels, so no news of any other kind. Owner does not seem inclined to make any of these improvements. read more

Raw Gym is a beautiful, new, 24 hour gym, that is conveniently located off Spring Cypress Rd. just west of SH 249. All members of the gym will receive a scanner card that will allow access 24 hours a day. Allowing your healthy gym-time to be on your clock. This gym provides Personal Trainers to fit just about any needs, they also have a yoga class held 2 days a week and zumba 1 day. I have currently been attending the boot camps that are held three days a week at 2 convenient times. Mon. Wed. and Fri. at 6:30 AM & 6:30 PM. The boot camps are provided by Kirk Carter, And Chris Tobias with Kinetix Health and Fitness. Their boot camps have made a huge difference on my views of working out. Honestly never thought working out could be enjoyable while successfully toning & building all the main muscles in your body. Don't bother with this place. Front counter doesn't know what their doing. As for the trainer's, I kept getting the cold shoulder like I shouldn't be there.
