This is our second time around having Fisher Windows install replacement windows for us. Like Peter and his team before them in 2020, Dominic, Anderson and George did a fantastic job, with careful measurements, attention to detail and beautiful finish work (I'm the daughter of a master carpenter, I know what I'm looking at and I'm very fussy). We just had 19 Harvey windows replaced in our 1950's ranch. From start to finish we couldn't of had a better team from Fisher Windows do the job. Kevin came out for the estimate and measurements as scheduled. Polo, George and Christian did the installation. Took time to cover our furniture and place drop cloths on the floors where they were working. Fisher windows did a great job overall on our windows. We had 19 windows replaced in our house, with the outside trim redone and encased in maintenance-free aluminum. We also had shutters installed. The contract with Fisher states that if they have to replace any framing or sills when doing the windows, they will charge an extra amount for the material. They did have to use a lot of material on our downstairs windows (where it turns out previous owners installed double hung windows into frames for casement ones) and stay an extra day to complete the work, but did not charge us an extra penny. The side molding in one of the windows did get damaged somewhat but it is an easy replacement next time we have a handyman around. They also say to expect to have to possibly paint/touch up around the inside window trim - for most of the windows we had to touch up only a tiny bit. They ordered the wrong style shutters at first, but re-ordered the correct ones and installed them. Everyone on the project was very professional. They cleaned up thoroughly each day and helped to put back furniture and window treatments. Its nice to have functional and good looking windows! read more

I cannot stop glowing over the job Fisher Windows completed for me. Where do I start? We had 13 windows replaced and they came to do proper measurement, quickly responded to be my emailed questions and managed to get the windows and complete the jobs in half the time they quoted us. UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Jeff had done the measurements himself giving us history of the business and along with the pricing is what sold us to contract with them. The pricing was reasonable we felt, but the real icing\cherry on the cake was the team and their professionalism, courtesy and cleanliness. Polo, Dom and Andersen arrived promptly, with a geniuine kind\friendly attitude and completed the replacement in 6 hours. ( 8:30 to 2:30) I coulnd't believe it. They put drop clothes and clear plastic over our beds and kid furniture and vaccuumed well after they completed the job. Well, within 24 hours I had a quote (most companies would be 1-2 weeks). Cost-effectiveness: their offer is among the lowest we got with the same type of windows we were looking at; 2. Responsiveness: the team is so responsive! You can always expect a reply within 6 hours maximum. 3. Clear contract: instead of trying to make it sounds complex and difficult, their quote is a one pager list scope of work, and cost per window. I feel that if you are not looking to have different people coming in to do all these different parts, this is all you need to know. 4. Timeliness: This is the FIRST contractor we'd ever worked with that's not late!! 5. Quality of work: AMAZING! We were a bit concerned about the patch up work we'll have to do after the crew finish. But NO. They took our windows out, put new ones in, sealed it and cleaned all of them. The house suddenly looked so nice and bright, but you cannot tell that work had been done on the windows - absolute fine finishing. 6. *WARNING* Our condo association hired Jeff Fisher Windows Co. to replace several dozen exterior storm windows after a large painting project. To begin with, Jeff Fisher Window Co. completely misrepresented their installation process; apparently they only install exterior storm windows from the INSIDE of the residence--a fact that they were not upfront about. When several of us unit owners expressed concern about this to Jeff Fisher Window Co., we continuously passed off to different employees who made vague promises of finding ways to properly install the storm windows on the second and third floors from the outside. (i.e., ladders, scaffolding, cherry picker) Alas, the day came for installation, and we had to let them do it from the inside. Because Jeff Fisher Window Co.'s technicians also took the measurements for the exterior storm window from the inside of out units, many of them do not fit correctly--they are too small, and more than 50% of our storms either need to be replaced, "adjusted" or entirely new screens. To make things worse, Jeff Fisher Window Co. also removed recently bought and installed storm windows from a unit that was not even part of the project! While trying to "adjust" the ill-fitting storm windows so that they would fit, Jeff Fisher Co.'s technicians damaged the wooden sash on one of our windows. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...you will likely regret it. Interestingly, one of them mentioned that they "aren't doing storms anymore" in one of our conversations about their exceptional ineptitude, although I suspect that this may have been yet another way to deflect. They aren't even responding to the BBB (Better Business Bureau), so... yeah, great company. read more

I was quite apprehensive to do this because we have nice paint, wallpaper, wooden blinds, curtains, etc... that I did not want to get ruined in the process. Well, I needn't have worried. Jeff's crew did an amazing job of removing the old windows and installing the new ones with no mess and no breakage. I was so impressed with the way that they worked. The Pella windows that we installed are high quality, energy efficient, and the look is in keeping with our colonial style house. I had Jeff Fisher Windows replacement 23 original single pane, drafty windows in my home last summer with high efficiency triple pane windows. Out of 9 quotes I got from local and big installers, Jeff's was the most competitive with the better product in my opinion. The process from quote with Paul (no pressure, no hassle, which is a big part of larger operations), to install with Pole and Dom, and follow up with Dennis was smooth. These guys really know what they are doing. Installation took 2 days, and they cleaned up each day. 2 panes were either cracked or scratched from the factory and they immediately put in the order for a replacement. I live on a hill in a high wind area and there is no more draft through any of the windows they replaced. I did end up having to re-caulk some of the sills shortly after, but I have no doubt had I asked, they would have come out to do it for me. Fisher Windows replaced 8 windows in my home. I received many quotes (and got an education along the way on the huge variations in price from different sources). I liked that Jeff is a privately owned business that specializes in windows. He was also professional, friendly and responsive to my inquiries. His prices were also very competitive for good quality windows. I was concerned about the mess and repair work I might have to do to my trim after the installation, but they were clean and only left nail holes, which I expected. They didn't re-install my blinds right and I had to call them back to fix it, but they did so the same day. The order was also incorrect in that I had ordered windows with a 4 pane upper sash, which is what I had on my old windows but received single pane windows. The order said single pane, and I didn't catch the mistake. They could have easily charged me to change, but they came back with the 4 pane windows without cost to me. All in all it wasn't a perfect experience, but nothing ever is. I judge companies by how they handle customer service, and Fisher Windows earned a 5 star rating in my book. I got the impression Jeff has worked hard to build a solid business and takes customer service seriously.
