We had three exterior doors installed, as well as a 2 - level back staircase. I live in California, and on one of my trips to visit my father and siblings, Dad told us that he would like to get new doors, and get the back 2-story staircase replaced. I initially had reservations about having the staircase installed by a company that specializes in doors and windows, but after speaking and meeting with Paul, I felt comfortable with having his company do the job. My level of comfort was validated when Paul walked the job with me after completion, and made sure that each and every detail was finished to perfection. His carpenter (Roy) used excellent pressure treated wood, and the bracing made the staircase perfectly secure. Roy later told me that his instructions from Paul were to make sure that the job was not finished until I was completely satisfied - an "old school" way of craftsmanship and customer service that I deeply appreciate! To be honest, I waited a while before writing this review, as sometimes issues arise after a job is finished. It has been over a year since the completion of the job, and the doors are still perfect, as is the staircase. I sincerely give Paul and his company my highest rating - 5 out of 5. If the rating scale went to 100, I would give him, his company, and his workmen 100.

Hi, I tried 7 other window companies before choosing One Window. What a bunch of car salesmen…read morenonsense I had to listen too. Everyone could add free window wrap and beat the other guy by $26 bucks when they saw the better quote. Keep looking cause I knew they were ripping me off. Called Legia and Juan at One Window and she said we will beat any quote and they did by a lot. Just got the sence I was dealing with good people. Juan and his helper came in and made sure everything was air tight around the windows with caulking and spray foam and windows were wrapped as I wanted. The whole experience was smooth and they did a great job. Another thing they do that I have never seen before was we will fix any problems we find at no added cost. Everyone is getting everything for the price promised. No added on cost even if problems are found they fix it. I told Juan to give me business cards cause people need to work with One Windows that is how impressed I was.

Northshore Window was by far the least expensive option. They were even less than HALF of what another contractor quoted for the same window! Let me save you a few hours of sales pitches and strangers walking through your house. Use these guys for your window replacement job. They know what they are doing, they are clean, they are quick and above all else they use a better window than most. Harvey windows are the way to go if you live in New England. Jim the owner will come to your house and give you a price then and there. He won't give you the hard sell but he will answer any question you have.

Not with EB. Everything from start to finish was incredibly professional, fair, and done with excellence. I needed some aluminum trim for my windows and the sides of my home sealed up. Not an enormous job but big enough. For starters, they answered their phone. I know that sounds funny, but you'd be amazed how difficult it is to get anyone in the construction/contracting field to even acknowledge your presence, much less care about your issue. The ladies in the office were incredibly nice and friendly, and treated me as if they wanted my business, and not just another annoying customer they had to deal with. They scheduled an estimate right away. Then came Colin to do the estimate. We only had a brief exchange but he's so personable and friendly, I felt like we had been friends for a while. He gave it to me straight, which I appreciate, and the quote turned out to be less than I thought. After a return visit, it turns out one of the sides of my home was in worse shape than we originally thought, and it turned into a bigger job, which of course, meant more $$. Again, Colin was direct about the issue, but I could tell he also felt bad about delivering the news to me. It wasn't his fault I moved into an old house, but he handled the situation with care, which made a huge difference in how I reacted. We went ahead with everything and within a couple of weeks, the guys showed up to do the work. The whole job lasted 3 days in the hottest part of the summer. Poor guys! I work from home so I was with them the entire time, and again, it was if I had known them for a while. They were super friendly, incredibly positive, and did an amazing job. They walked me around the house where they had done work so I could make sure I was satisfied right there on the spot. I never once felt like they were slacking, or cutting corners. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Lastly came the final bill. And it ended up being about $1000 less than I was expecting! Woo hoo! Again, as I was squaring up with the ladies in the office, they were so kind, and personable. What that says to me is everyone enjoys where they work, who they work with, and really care about their customers. It makes a HUGE difference. I cannot recommend this company enough if you need any sort of work done. It doesn't matter who you talk to, you will walk away from the experience completely satisfied and confident that everything was handled with your best interest in mind.

Roof - The roof took a day and was done with perfection the crew did not leave until the job was done and cleaned up. Siding - The siding began shortly after the roof. When I was told there would be one guy doing the job, I had concerns about the time to complete the job. OMG, I have to say it was the best experience working with Marty he did an outstanding job! They had only put down one small drop cloth and, after renting a carpet cleaner, it appears our carpet is permanently stained. They left tons of dirt and grime on the door itself, including what appeared to be a small blood stain. I would not use them again.
