I called and Berge picked up, he explained that they don't do window repairs but if I were in front of the windows he could walk me through how to identify the problem, possibly fix it myself or find a handyman to fix it. When I got in front of the windows he talked me through how to take the windows out of the track, identified that the "shoe" wasn't attached and that's why they won't stay open. After I got off the phone with him, I followed his instructions to get the shoe unstuck from the bottom of the track and managed to get them reattached to the windows, and now they both stay open! So incredibly helpful! If we needed to replace those windows we would definitely have gone back to Berge for it.

We invited Mass Save back recently (for windows), and the inspector said he'd never before recommended "no insulation upgrades" for an old house, but he did for ours since Rob's 15-year old upgrades were so impeccable! Moreover, the inspector actually asked to photograph the tricky basement area to use as exemplar of an ideal installation.
