I recommend Calnan Energy Systems without hesitation! Rob and his crew were consistently pleasant, thoughtful, efficient, and reassuring. I hired them to insulate a section of my house, attic to basement, the area where all my plumbing pipes were against an exterior wall. This area had never been insulated so was prone to freezing, and of course last February a pipe did burst. Before choosing Calnan I spoke with several companies as to what they would do to remedy my problem and they were either vague or told me anyone could do that job. When I spoke with Rob he told me that his company specializes in just this issue - preventing pipes from freezing.
From his initial assessment throughout the process it was clear he and his crew were very experienced, knowledgeable, and knew exactly what they were doing . My old house posed a couple of snafus to overcome, which he told me about and explained how they would work around it. The crew worked from 8:00 a.m. till 6:30 to make sure the job could be completed in one day (rather than return and have to charge for a second day). Given that they had to work on all 4 floors they were remarkably unobtrusive. By the time they left my house was actually cleaner than it had been before they came(!) Fantastic company.
