Overall, I would hesitate to recommend Power for your roofing/gutter work. The initial projects went well, were competitively priced, and I felt I was kept in the loop with their app and project manager. The work was done quickly and I did not feel pressured into any decisions (it was a project I already knew the house needed). There was an issue with an ice dam due to the way one downspout was improperly installed, but Power acknowledged the problem and came out to fix the gutter at no cost to us, and even modified all other gutters to ensure we did not have that issue in the future since our house seems prone to that. The main issue has been the over year-long wait to repair the interior ice dam damage in our master bedroom due to the faulty initial gutter installation. Initially, they had agreed to pay the average of 3 quotes. We had difficulty getting 3 quotes since the job was so small, so they agreed to 2 quotes. Once we submitted the 2 quotes, they changed their mind and a member of their team offered to fix it themselves for free. That was a very nice offer and they came to examine the damage themselves and agreed. Unfortunately, that person had a family emergency and was unable to come by at that time to complete the repair. Absolutely understandable, these things happen. What I would normally expect is for someone else to come by and do that work, or for this work to be prioritized in some way, or at the very least revert to the original agreement so I can pay someone to do the work sooner. Instead they gave us an appointment nearly 6 months later. This is unacceptable to us. We cannot currently sleep in that bedroom due to the ceiling crumbling and are currently sleeping in our upstairs office. I have called several times to stress not only the urgency of this repair but also our willingness to have someone else do it. I have not received a call back or an email back. I would not leave a review like this if I had not already tried to resolve this problem internally. From our initial experience, I would have given them 5 stars, including the initial modifications that needed to be made. That was all handled well. This issue around the interior repair and their choices for how to handle it have been extremely frustrating and are what make Power difficult to recommend. I imagine a change in management somewhere would greatly improve my experience and likely the experience of others. read more

Let me start by saying that my windows are beautiful. I wish I could give 5 stars but I can't for two reasons. Reason #1 I called as soon as I noticed a water stain under a bedroom window. It took them 4 months before I could get an appointment to address it. And today, the appointment day, the tech was late (no call) until "I finally reached out" and he tells me he could come some 3 hours later than my scheduled appointment. I had to reschedule because I'm WORKING. The rescheduled appointment has been pushed out to almost another month. Meanwhile, I needed to hire a contractor to fix the leakage asap. There are other things too. For instance, two "brand new windows" that won't open. I think the siding (they installed) on the outside is "covering" the bottom part of those two windows preventing them from opening... or they're nailed shut... I dunno! Reason #2 A sales person showed up at my door one afternoon "unannounced" wanting to "sell me" whatever "she" thought I wanted or needed. Not cool... not even a little bit cool. read more

We needed window replacements in a relatively old house. The windows that we were replacing let in air even though they were closed. We met with Brian who was their sales rep who did a very thorough presentation of what Power was offering in their Pella windows as well as what else was available out there - we discussed our needs and got the Pella windows we wanted at a good price and quickly. The two gentlemen who came out to install our windows were really good. Igor and Martin work as a well-oiled machine. It was actually fun to watch. They got the windows out and in they look great from both the outside and inside. Five windows and a slider took them four hours to do and when they left, there was absolutely no mess left behind. Customer Service communication [wish I didn't have to use them though] 2. Quality of materials seems strong [Installation is left wanting though] Bad: 1. Installation, what you get shown during sales pitch is not what you get installed [missing pieces, nail holes, poorly fitting pieces]. They tried to hide making soffit vents by covering it up. I had to demand pieces be removed and them installed. Overall a rush installation and lack of quality workmanship. I made the mistake of not asking if the installation is via a third-party. IT IS SO BE WARNED!! 2. Construction materials all over yard and driveway [Still cleaning up months later and finding nails in my yard - many in my driveway. My dog cut his pad on a rogue piece of metal that I unfortunately missed. 3. Installers acted like they couldn't understand me until they wanted me to pay. To which I told them I wouldn't be doing so until we had a walk through with the project manager. This took about 30 minutes for them to "understand" - which was a red flag. Just from my own walkthrough when they left I could tell a whole host of things were missing and installed incorrectly, which forced them to come back. Thank goodness I didn't conform to them forcing me to pay on the spot. I have since had pieces of siding falling off. This was installed in May [it is now July]. They were supposed to come fix this 7/27, and are now telling me they can't fix it until October. I have escalated. ____ Overall, avoid this company. It's not worth it. You pay a premium price [$30,000.00] and they fall short of the mark. I don't have an issue with their high-pressure selling tactic - but when they can't deliver on their promises, and the installation is just SO poor - you're better of spending your money elsewhere. Mother in law is 92 years old. They knocked on her door and convinced her she needed new gutters. She was presdured into a contract for $23000 dollars, money she doesn't have. She was scared of what she done and called her daughter, my wife. We contacted her grand daughter's father in law who is a contractor with fifty years experience. He examined the house and guess what? She has perfectly fine gutters, she only needs them pressure washed and a few spots on the facia repaired. My mother in law wisely tried to cancel. Easy you think? Nope. She is required to contact them by TELEGRAM! She does. They claim they never received it. They send someone down the next day for her to sign a cancellation. That was the plot to put maximum pressure on her. Luckily, my wife was there but it took over a half hour to put an end to the pressure. Taking advantage of the elderly. Horrible! read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Sep. 1, 2025 This is a terrible company to work with. I had 10 windows installed that are "double lifetime guarantee". The windows are terrible showing signs of rust between the pains. I went to get one replaced and it took 2 years. When they finally came to replace the one, there were 2 more that needed replacement. It's been 2 years 4 months and still haven't heard a word. Aside from the sh*t product, once the project was complete, I got relentless calls looking for more work. I had to tell them multiple times to stop calling. They would call and hang up without leaving a message and call right back. Continuing to do this until I answered the phone (during work hours!). Once I completely snapped on them and told them I would never give them any other work, they stopped calling. Moral of this story, stay away from Power Home remodeling. We did not seek out Power Home Remodeling; they showed up uninvited at our front door. We ultimately decided to trust them to do a good job and believed they would be a reputable company to work with, given the data they presented us. In hindsight, we deeply regret not doing our research first. We spent upwards of $100,000 to replace almost every window in our 1912 home (40+ windows total), along with three exterior doors. While they were incredibly eager to take our money and close the deal, their actual work, cleanup, and post-installation service have been an absolute nightmare. Our major issues with Power Home Remodeling: 1. The "4-Window Minimum" Absurdity & Broken Promises When we did the initial installation in February, we intentionally left one bathroom window original because we knew we were remodeling the bathroom down the road. That remodel started in June, just four months later. We contacted Power to get this final window replaced, as we had been explicitly told by three different Power employees (the initial salesman and two others who came out for measurements) to simply contact them when we were ready to do this final window. After over a month of back-and-forth on the phone, and even having them send someone out to measure the window again, we were ultimately told they would not help us because they have a strict 4-window minimum to send anyone out. What is most frustrating is that we do not even have four windows left to replace--the only other remaining windows in our home are historical 1912 stained glass that we are obviously keeping. 2. A Major Security Hazard Ignored for 8 Months As part of our project, they replaced three of our exterior doors. Two were installed with code keypads that are currently malfunctioning, and our front door does not latch. The project was "completed" in February. The absolute earliest they would send a technician to inspect the faulty, unlatched door and broken keypads was June (a four-month wait). When the technician came out, he determined we needed a new part, which would have to be specialty ordered as they did not have it in their warehouse. When I followed up on the status of this about 2 weeks later, I was told they have no tracking information and they scheduled our repair for October. Power Home Remodeling is perfectly comfortable leaving a family with an unlatched exterior door--a massive, active security hazard--for eight months. 3. Shoddy Cleanup (A Direct Danger to Our Toddler and Dogs) Because our project was completed in February in New England, there was snow on the ground. The crew did virtually no cleanup outside. Because we have two dogs and a toddler to keep safe, we had to do the cleanup ourselves. Power explicitly promised they would return with a metal detector and a cleanup crew once the snow melted. That never happened. Months later, we are still finding screws, sharp pieces of metal, and shards of plastic littered in our yard. The Bottom Line: Power Home Remodeling employs pushy door-to-door sales tactics to get in your house, but once the contract is signed, you are entirely on your own. If you want a company that respects your safety, stands by their word, cleans up after themselves, and exercises basic common sense, look elsewhere. read more

if I could do a zero I would they forced us to sign a contract for siding and gutters, they charged 54,000 told us originally it would be 49,000. The installers for the siding never showed up I had to call the company wait on hold for 15 mins to be told someone will call me back and i never received a phone call back. when I followed up the next day they would be delayed a week. They came did the siding we lost internet multiple times (which was ok and fixed) they put multiple holes on the interior wall and told us that's not their responsibility. ok we fixed the interior walls, the day the manager came out to look at the house it was raining and he saw rain pouring inside through the window. They sent someone to try and fix it the two times Sean came out to look at it he just went through the attic never outside where it clearly was leaking. Finally he came out with a ladder and informed me that in fact there was a gap between the siding that might have been the issue. The leak was fixed for two weeks and again it happened. I text Sean the pictures and video of the rain pouring inside and his response was F**k. I called to talk to a manager for over a week he wouldn't take my call or call me back. I also had them leave garbage on my neighbors property for three weeks. This company doesnt care about your home they see you as dollar bills. DO NOT USE THEM, I went to another company they informed me the gutters that were installed wasn't draining the water and was holding onto it and poured it inside my window. I sent pictures over and Adams the manager pretty much said they will not compensate for any of the damage. so we had to hire another company who fixed the error. read more
