I had a corner of my house with no gutters, and the rain was gathering in one spot and causing a hole in the ground! FRS roofing and gutters installed beautiful new gutters with debris guards! The went above and beyond by upgrading other portions of my gutter system as well! The rain is no longer a problem or cause of anxiety! Thank you FRS Roofing! read more

I had FRS recently replace my old garage roof with a new one. I recommend them highly. They were professional, polite and efficient. They stripped the old roof off down to the wood, replaced any wood that needed it. Put up new roofing, facia, gutters and leaf gutter covers. They had planned the work ahead of time and had all the parts and equipment they needed. Hit the ground running and did everything that they said they would and according to design. I am happy that I selected FRS. The job is well warrantied and a good value. read more

cIf I could leave 10 stars for FRS Roofing and everyone who works there, I would. This has been the absolute best customer service experience I have had with any company--not just home contractors. I needed a total roof replacement in order to sell my home and was working under a very tight timeline. FRS was so understanding, patient, communicative and really went the extra mile to make this project happen. The quality of work is exceptional; a fantastic crew worked tirelessly and left the property immaculate afterward. I want to especially recognize two FRS employees who were above and beyond exceptional in every dealing I had with them. Ulysses, the roofing tech/project lead, spent hours carefully inspecting and photographing my old roof and took the time to show me the footage and walk me through the specifics--long before I even spent a penny or even committed to the job. And Maria in the admin office was an absolute saint dealing with my questions, working to help identify possible financing solutions, and keeping me updated every step of the way. Aryel and the production team have also been so helpful and communicative. TLDR: FRS is a top-notch roofing company staffed by top-notch people. THANK YOU FRS!! read more

FRS Roofing - New roof by FRS - Roofing Near Me - Medford, Massachusetts

We hired FRS Roofing to replace an aging roof on a 1980s condominium. They were professional, the pricing was reasonable, and the work was scheduled and completed promptly with good attention to detail. Ulysses was polite and helpful and took care to make sure that the work was done correctly. read more

FRS did a massive job for us last year. They completely redid our roof which hadn't been done in decades (even down to replacing the wooden boards at the very bottom), and they redid a rubber roof on top of our garage, which we use as a deck. We are obviously not roofing experts, but to us, all the work looked very thorough, professional, and high quality. So far, we have had no major issues. Whenever we did point out an issue, FRS came back, without complaining, and fixed the issue. As to outstanding issues, everything was fixed to our satisfaction, even when it meant multiple visits to fix the same issue. They were always polite, professional, and diligent when they had to return. I am confident that if we have other issues in the future, under their 50 year warranty, they will come back and fix everything to our satisfaction if necessary For the rubber roof on top of garage, we had had previous issues with leaking. After the roof was replaced, they were very diligent about coming back to test the roof after heavy rain to make sure it wasn't leaking anymore They did quite a bit of free work for us too. Whenever something was a grey area, like gutter work or other stuff, they just did it without extra charge. To conclude, I'm glad we chose FRS, and I would highly recommend them. read more

Excellent experience. Encouraged me to contact others for references and did a great job on the work. When one thing was missed, they came back and fixed it with no delay. The first contractors who I've worked with in a while who I would actually recommend to anyone else. Price/value also great. read more

I called and spoke with someone live. I said I only needed the gutters cleaned. He asked mea number of unrelated and uncomfortable questions, the age of the roof, what I do for work, what my work hours are, and if my husband (!) would be home before making the appointment for a wrote...as if I couldn't contract for a service without "my husband." My spidey sense told me they were going to try to sell me a new roof but I went ahead with the appointment. The tech arrived on schedule, I explained the work needed and sure enough he said, "We don't do gutters alone, only if it's part of a roofing job. The notes say you needed your roof repaired." Don't bait and switch, please. And don't ask women callers if their husbands will be home. It's insulting and misogynistic. Looking at the other one star reviews, mine looks l like a regular experience for women with your company. Stop it. read more

FRS Roofing - Awesome job!!! - Roofing Near Me - Medford, Massachusetts

It took 6 weeks to receive a quote after the consultant visited to examine the roof, despite several phone calls and emails. However, the company did apologize for the long wait and lack of communication. They do great work if you are lucky enough to contract with them. read more

I've used FRS several times for roof repair and replacement. They're thorough, responsive, and professional. Highly recommend for those looking for roofing contractors. read more

We cannot recommend FRS enough, have worked with them on various projects (full roof replacement, gutter replacement) and their communication, attention to detail, and follow up is the best I've seen. We have felt very supported since initially finding FRS and they truly stand behind the work that they do. Their pricing feels appropriate and very well aligned with the level of customer service you get once you become a customer for life. I never thought I'd have such positive feelings about a roofing company but here we are!! If you are considering working with FRS just do it, they will guarantee your satisfaction and the process of working together will be painless and dare I say enjoyable!! read more

We had a problem with the small roof above bay window, and over time a leak developed. We hired FRS as they were the most responsive of all businesses we had contacted. Communication, initial inspection and scheduling were smooth. FRS went beyond simple re-roofing; they sealed cracks they found around the window and also fixed the chimney trim that might have been also a leak source. All was done in one day including complete clean up. I must add (as this was the basis for several negative reviews): FRS does have a policy of asking all homeowners to give consent to the work planned. It has nothing to do with discrimination although some people may feel that way. read more

Looking to get roof flashing repaired, and the rep started asking all sorts of questions about work habits etc. Very invasive and not related to the roof project. Got a bad feeling about the level of detail and declined to proceed. read more

We have a ten-year old roof that needed some fixes to see it through another decade or so to eventual replacement (or a larger project combined with solar installation). What I appreciate about every team member at FRS is that they were pragmatic, non-alarmist, and provided clear and professional communicaiton through-out the project from estimate to completion. Once scheduled, the repair work was completed in one day, and they had a team member follow-up with an on-site visit to review the work and confirm it's quality about a week later. I would recommend their team for your roofing needs and FRS will be the first company we call when our association is ready for a total roof replacement/solar panel installation. We were very satisfied with the professionalism, quality, and value of the service delivered. read more

I love FRS since their quote is affordable for our house (with 1/3 down payment and 2/3 paid after installation and review). The installation time is flexible and fit for our schedule perfectly. The installation team works smoothly with our family and cares for our property a lot. I therefore recommend FRS team for gutter installation! read more

FRS replaced our roof at the start of 2023. They did an excellent job in one day and left our property spotless. We were walked through all options prior to the estimate, shown material and had all questions answered promptly. I recommend FRS. read more

FRS did some work on our garage, they replaced the roof, added gutters, and replaced some siding a rotted wood. The quote process was lengthy and more detailed than most companies. But we really understood what and how the work would be done. The work itself went very smoothly. They showed up on schedule, were quiet other than the nail gun, and cleaned up leaving the area cleaner than when they started. Initially the down spouts for the gutter were not where we wanted them. They quickly agreed to come back and move them to where we wanted, taking responsibility for not asking us in advance where we wanted them. We worked with Ulysses as the project manager and he was very professional and kept us up to date on how things were going throughout the process. read more

My experience with FRS Roofing was excellent. I wasn't present when they worked on my roof, I was traveling overseas. My wife was very happy with their service. They treated my wife with respect and kindness. They did a great job and the price was very good. I really recommend this company to everyone. Thank you again for doing a great job fixing my roof. read more

What an amazing company! FRS responded immediately to our call and sent over someone to examine the (awful) situation of our blocked gutters. We received an estimate that was much, much lower than other quotes. We arranged a date for the work to be done and three very friendly, smiling men showed up that morning and worked hard all day - and the next day - and did a fabulous job. The next day, a supervisor from FRS came over and reviewed the work - and we saw immediately that they had done a great job. Everyone at FRS was friendly, smiling, helpful - I wish all businesses were run like this one. FRS was recommended by a friend who also has an old house and I strongly recommend FRS!!! The workmanship was perfect, the price was right - it was a real pleasure to do business with FRS! read more

Great overall service from start to finish, very organized, professional, friendly service. Had my roof, porches and garage roofs replaced. Fast one day. Clean and well organized and a very fair price. The best price of 3 quotes and they use the best materials. Ulisses was great to work with! Thanks FRS Team read more

The thing with contractors: 1) You want them to be on time 2) You want them to finish on time 3) You want them to leave your property as clean as it was when they arrived 4) Their cost should reflect the finish work All of these things were part of their professional service. I would recommend them highly. read more

I just want to say FRS Roofing + Gutters did a stellar job. I have an old house with rotting gutters. They quoted me a fair price. The job lasted a day. I once again used FRS roofing for a small repair to my roof. I found them prompt, thorough and reliable. I would recommend them

Extremely professional, detail-oriented, responsive to customers' inquiriess, and the most friendly staff that one can ever work with!

Excellent service. Responsive and caring about the customer. Highly recommended their services.

I had a gutter that was leaking and needed to be replaced. Since I was replacing the gutter, I decided to move the downspout to a better location. FRS Roofing & Gutters provided professional and timely service. They were able to match up the color with the other existing gutters and were very accommodating when I wanted to make an adjustment after the job was finished. I would definitely hire them again. read more

Work was done in 2021 and I'm writing this review per FRS request. Had a leak on our roof that went unnoticed for a couple of years. FRS assessment was very professional and very detailed and helped identify the scope of the fix. Four stars because did take them a few weeks (a no show, and a couple of reschedules) to get them to actually do the repair thou so that was very disruptive and aggravating. Once they showed up, the repair work was clean and well done. It's been 3 years and pretty happy with the fix. read more

The work was fantastic, the price was a great value, and it was all done quickly once started. HOWEVER. It was impossible to get someone on the phone when our project manager left the company. We waited WEEKS for a day that they said would take days to set up. I would call asking for an update and they would say that they had no record of the job, and then try to transfer me to the guy that didn't work at the company anymore! they were immensely disorganized from an office standpoint. Following the work, the calls started. I started getting emails and calls constantly asking me to leave a review. I DIDNT because I wanted to be honest and I didn't want to hurt their business if I was. But then this week, about a year later? They called me three times in one day. I have a job, guys. So here's the review you asked for. Good work. Good value. Terrible office and logistics. And please, please stop calling me. read more

They did both a reroof and added complex downspouts to an existing roof. #highlyrecommend #wouldhireagain #worthycompany #trustworthy For the past two years or so, we had been having issues with the section of our roof that meets the chimney. Depending on the direction, intensity, and duration of the rain, water stains appear on the ceiling of the room below. We had several roofing contractors (big and small) attend to the issues, and we paid their asking prices but the issues were never resolved. The pesky water stains would reappear from time to time. Long story short, disheartened by previous sunk costs and the undesirable outcomes, a FRS roofing van happened to cruise by us on High Street in Medford and we looked into it. The rest is history. From my call at the very beginning to handing over the check at the end, each and every step along the way was handled in the most professional manner by the management, staff and crew of FRS. They were always one step ahead of us and provided clear explanations of what the issues were and the recommended solutions. FRS Roofing exercises clarity and transparency and for once, I felt safe to sign a contract with a construction company. The work crew came, did the work, cleaned up, and left without a trace. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work done and the follow-up. My home has a big roof and when the time comes for the roof to be replaced, we know who to call. FRS Roofing truly delivers! read more

FRS quoted us a very reasonable price for roof repair work. The crew that came to do the job was kind and respectful and we have not had any problems with the roof since. We did have some issues with communication and parking spots, but FRS went out of their way to understand the issues and resolve them. Would definitely recommend to others in the Somerville area. read more

I submitted an online request for a consultation for gutter repair. A gentleman called me this morning, to schedule the service, and began asking, exceptionally personal questions!! What my work schedule is(days/nights/weekends), what time I normally return home from work, and when/if my husband will be present.... needless to say, felt exceptionally uncomfortable with this line of questioning and withdrew my interest in pursuing a consultation....beware!!!! read more

After over 30yrs, my home needed a new roof. I contacted FRS Roofing & Gutters. Within a week, Ulysses met with me and inspected my roof and chimney. He was precise in what needed to be updated and done over, and he gave a few price options. Within a month (in January) FRS came and worked, had the job finished quickly, even with Winter weather. There were a few concerns due to my siding and updated materials, but every question I had was evaluated and if needed, adjusted prior to inspection for the job complete. I would recommend Ulysses and his team. The workers were respectable of mine and the neighbors properties, the job supervisor was always in communication. Very pleased with the outcome of my new roof and chimney. Thank you FRS Roofing & Gutters. read more

We had a leak from our roof deck into the room below. FRS roofing was quick to respond and send someone to check it out. Everything about the process was extremely professional - including walking us through the issues in detail, what they were planning to fix, and even explaining the details of the contract and warrantee. They ended up fixing two places where the deck was leaking, and we haven't seen any issues since. Would definitely work with them again. read more

Had a great experience with FRS for roof replacement and new gutters. I was super annoyed with an initial phone screening where I was asked if my husband would also be at home to discuss the proposed work (so many assumptions about my household and how we make decisions about home maintenance...) But I'm glad that I went ahead and scheduled an inspection and got an estimate for the work from Ulisses. He was friendly, very thorough in climbing up on the roof to assess a leaky area and proposing a comprehensive solution that also involved replacing some siding. Their bid was absolutely the best value of the 5 bids I gathered for the job, and the process of scheduling the work was quick and easy. The team worked efficiently through some extreme heat, did an excellent job, and cleaned up the site very nicely. Overall, I am very happy with the process and the work that was done! read more
