I called 5 of them and waited for responses. A manager at Golden Group was the first to respond. I made an appointment with him on the following Saturday and by then 3 others had responded and met me on that day. Long story short: I chose Golden Group and am still pleased I did. They finished the job in 2 days with a large, industrious crew who were incredibly hardworking and did a wonderful job cleaning up. They found the leakage problem under the old shingles on rotting planks of wood which they replaced before adding new shingles. It looks so much better and I would use Golden Group again!

Between his first visit to inspect some water damage our home had taken in a recent storm to his last visit when the work was completed, I needed to talk to Chris many times over a period of several weeks and never had a problem establishing contact with him. And then there is the actual workmanship itself, which is stellar. Not only was the work done in less than 2 days, but our new roof looks great and really makes us whole house shine a little brighter. And by mid-day the following day, the post-work cleanup was finished and our whole yard and driveway looked as if nothing had happened. If you are looking for help with your roof and want to work with someone personable and who cares, Chris is your guy.

I didn't post my first review here! January 24, 2025…read more If anyone is looking for roof replacement, we just had a great experience! For the last five years we have been trying to get "one more year" out of the roof. When the vendor who cleans our gutters said we had a roofing section down to bare wood we became mobilized. On December 26th, using Google reviews, we called the first roofer presenting, Pinnacle Exteriors, (they had 20 five-star reviews and was from the neighboring town) Chris was over within about two hours that same day, had taken photos and was able to show us where the issues existed. We considered other roofers, some even recommended by close friends, but Chris stood out with his no nonsense, can do, we can fit it in during a break in the weather over the next two weeks, approach. Other roofers didn't seem to want the job. Chris considers this time of year in many ways optimal to be installing a roof. When a clear weather day approached with a 40 degrees forecast, Chris let me know that was the day. On Jan 23, 2024, a crew of nine arrived and completed both house and garage roof replacements in one day (7:30 am to 5:00 pm). Chris and his entire crew are very professional, knowledgeable and very easy to communicate with. They are real craftsmen taking extra care in all their work. Even repairing some issues with our chimneys and gutters. Chris and his son Nick went into the attic and covered everything and then cleaned up after. They did a thorough clean up and also used a large rolling magnet to pick up all the nails. Chris came back the next day after the dumpster was removed to again do a magnet sweep of the driveway. This company is very detail oriented. We were extremely pleased with the result and the look of the roofs. We highly recommend Chris and his team to anyone looking to work with an honest hard-working group. I must say that this project, which manifested with much urgency during what we thought was the wrong time of year, got resolved with ease and grace, and a very competitive bid! https://pinnacleroofingma.com/ June 2, 2025 Hi Everyone, We had Chris back for some more work. Did you know, Chris is also a great carpenter! This year he was back for another big job and some smaller yet tedious jobs. We had him repair and cover all the exposed (and some rotted) exterior wood on our entire 1920 house. That included the wood window trim, soffits and trim around all the doors. It was a big job as we have a large multi family house. He replaced the house numbers, and also did some paint touch up. We also decided to have him replace four outside storm doors which also meant rewiring the doorbells or installing wireless doorbells. He also supplied and installed windows, including those hard to get to windows in the basement. He probably did more work that I don't even know about as he takes pride in his work and is meticulous. Friends that have spoken to me or read my review of his roof work, are also impressed. I feel like we hit the jackpot with Chris. He's a great guy, very honest and you can trust him. Treats your home like it was his own. Don't hesitate to get in touch with him as he books up quickly, yet somehow seems to juggle it all and makes everyone happy! https://pinnacleroofingma.com/

Brian was extremely prompt. He was on time for the initial quote, on time when he said he was coming over to drop off samples, and he and his crew were even a bit early on both days of work required to complete the roof. Brian was extremely patient and helpful throughout the process, answering all of my questions, and taking the time to get on the roof himself to take close up pictures to show me the issues that we had so that I was better educated. We needed to have the entire roof replaced, and Brian told us it would take one day, possibly two worst case scenario. Turns out out roof was not properly vented and so we had FORTY sheets if plywood that needed to be replaced. Had it not been for that extreme amount of additional work, I am certain they would have finished in one day. Both days the weather outside was approximately 15 degrees, but that didn't stop him or his crew. They were at the house by 7:30 AM (on Saturday and Sunday), and didn't leave till after the sun went down the first day. Very hard working, cleaned up after themselves each day as immaculately as you could hope a roofing crew to. We had the roof done in early November, and there has not been an issue yet, so I haven't had to call Brian back to fix anything (though given our experience up till now, I have no doubt he would make it right back out here). All told, it was an extremely pleasant process working with Brian and his crew, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who would listen. We were also having them replace a skylight over our addition. The skylight had leaked off an on since it was installed 20 years ago. It had been looked at by several companies over the years and no one could provide a solution . The skylight replacement was a problem because they could not find a replacement to fit the measurements. The guys came out several times. A couple of days ago, Elmer came out and spent some time making noise on the roof. When he finished, he said that the skylight would not leak anymore and that there was NO CHARGE for all the work they had done. As it turns out, the skylight had been installed incorrectly which is why the measurements were off. Elmer took it apart, figured out the problem and reinstalled it the right way. I repeat, NO CHARGE, event though we agreed to pay over $1,000 for a new skylight. He said he wouldn't do a job that was not needed. Yesterday we had a torrential rain and there were no leaks!
