Michael and his team made building a new garage simple and smooth. Great communication throughout the whole process. Easy recommendation, need a garage call them. Jim

When my husband and I first met with Michael Fisher he told us he loves garages. I thought he was kidding, but he was completely serious! Michael is passionate about making sure his customers get exactly the garage they want and need. Buying a new garage is a big financial commitment, so when it became clear we had to build a new garage, I wanted it to be something we'd enjoy for many years. My dream was to have a little patio built on the back of the garage. Other builders either couldn't provide a patio (because they don't like to do something custom as it takes too much time), or they told me that wasn't what I really wanted! Michael listened to our wish list for our new garage and made it a reality! He was extremely responsive whenever we had questions and the crews he uses are professional and top notch! Michael even included the removal of an ugly old tree stump on the property line between our yard and our neighbors. It's such a relief to have that problem taken care of so that nothing detracts from our charming new garage. If I had to choose one word to describe Fisher Garages, I would say: Professional. My husband and I love our new garage and recommend Fisher Garages without hesitation.

Mike was straight forward, experienced and honest about when and how our garage would be built. We really enjoyed working with him!

Our family has been very pleased with the high quality of their work and attention to detail. The finishes have been very pleasing and we get compliments on the work all the time. His pricing is competitive and the craftsman who do the work are easy to get along with during long major projects. Ilan's team is the only one we will use for future remodels and I highly recommend him and his company.

I was starting with a smaller job first involving multiple carpentry related items. It's a good way to assess whether I'd use the contractor again for the more complex kitchen and bath. My HOA must approve any contractor before work commences and requires that they be licensed in Chicago, Insured, and bonded. Chicago Partners claims to be so on their website and confirmed that to me in person. IIan was very charming, knowledgeable, and initially quite responsive. His quote was detailed and helpfully assigned a dollar amount per task, as I'd requested. Unfortunately, as another reviewer noted, the proposal included language that would waive and indemnify Chicago Construction for any damage, harm, or injuries etc. that Chicago Construction might cause in the course of their work. I spoke to IIan about this and he said he was a lawyer and wrote it himself. I'm certain he did. I managed a contracts office doing over $300 million in business each year - none of my staff would ever approve a waiver that puts 100% of the risk on the client for harm that a contractor might cause. I asked IIan what was the point of requiring a contractor be bonded and insured was if I was going to waive their responsibility anyway? I told him my association wouldn't approve such a waiver. I asked him to strike the language and also to reduce the tasks in the quote. Unfortunately, I never heard back from him. This was in July. I used another contractor to complete the project and am now taking bids for the bathroom. I will not seek a bid from this company.
