Getting into the dish, the chicken was slightly crispy with a nice char which is always a win in my book. The vegetable lineup brought a solid crunch with water chestnuts, zucchini, and an appropriate amount of peanuts. The sauce actually had a really good texture, thankfully avoiding the thin, "wet" glaze I wasn't a fan of at places like Jade Xiang Yue. Flavor-wise, it was savory and a tad sweet. There wasn't a lot of heat to this one, so if you're looking for that spice, you won't find it here. The biggest drawback for me? There were strong whiffs of Shaoxing wine that clearly hadn't been cooked off fully. It was pretty distracting and took away from an otherwise solid plate. Verdict: Great sauce consistency and a savory profile akin to Panda Express, but held back by mild heat and an unreduced wine flavor.

Mixed Two Vegetable Platter (mild spicy) - this was a nice complement to the noodles. Cucumbers were the typical sweet,tangy, garlicky kind. The other veggie was tofu skin. These were topped off with fried peanuts. Coconut Lava Balls - chewy outside. Inside was some kind of thickened coconut with sago. Really interesting and I thought the taste was pretty good.
