Favorite food in the area! We ordered catering and were beyond happy with not only the communicative service and professional staff but the food was SO delicious. We had the mashed potatoes and salmon with a side of pork and shrimp dumplings. It was beyond yummy...my only regret is that we didn't add the jumbo lump crab cakes to the order! Next time... The two stars are for poor customer service. The short of it was that our group of 8 was seated outside in a booth that clearly only accommodated 4. And then it rained. No solutions were offered to help us and we ended up ordering our food to go and waiting for it outside huddled under an awning. Our waitress was AMAZING however and dealt with the mess the hostess and terrible management left her with. She did everything she could to get our food quickly. I wish the hostess would have told our group she could not accommodate us and we would have moved on. The food was OK but was different not eating at the restaurant. Just a total bummer; we were really looking forward to it. Not family friendly so I would suggest this place for a special occasion and it doesn't even matter if you try to go early, it's packed. We had a nice dinner here last week. FishOn is a popular restaurant kind of behind the Weis market. We both decided to try the fish and chips. Service was good even though the place was pretty crowded (they have a special on Tuesdays). I also had a nice choice of I believe a lager beer which was tasty. I do think, however, that the menu is kind of uninspired and although nothing was wrong with our meals, there wasn't anything special to talk about either. The same applies to the sides. I'm giving 5 stars because i hope the best for the owner and i understand running a small business is hard. I'm not the type of person to leave reviews but this place made me make a yelp account to write a review. To start things off they need to change the server attire, servers should wear a polo and pants not an oversized faded t shirt with shorts. On top of server, my server answered a phone call right infront of me talking way to loud. When server took my order he had his arm on my seat leaning on it, which is super unprofessional. The dip cups need to be changed to aluminum not paper, you would save more money in the long run by doing aluminum and it would add to the quality of the place. Steak, i understand this is a seafood place but the steak wasn't even medium rare which i ordered it to be, it was over cooked. The bread, the bread tasted like high school lunch bread, bottom of the barrel, if the owner is reading this please do homemade bread or order a finer bread, i understand when ordering bread it can go stale so thats the bad thing about ordering bread. Last thing, please push the chairs in non sloppy, make them line up with the table not crooked. Seriously i hope the best for the owner cause it's the overseer is new and al the servers are new but the only good server was the girl hostess with black hair, she was being truly professional. Unfortunately, FishOn which used to be a terrific place to dine has become inconsistent. We were there on a Sunday night and the place was almost empty. Despite that, the service was terrible - it took 25 minutes for the waitress to come to us and she was hard to understand as she mumbled quietly, unenthusiastic and did not apologize for the unacceptable delay. She never followed up with us and if not for the attentive manager, we might have left. The food was generous, tasty and slightly overpriced. However, poor service dominated our view of the place which is the reason for 3 stars. read more

Finally. Somebody who understands a Shirley Temple in its God-intended form. A perfect grenadine to sprite ratio. Precise proportions of ice. And most importantly, not one, but TWO cherries. THIS is how you make a Shirley Temple. These guys are professionals, and they're restoring my faith in the restaurant industry to deliver this classic beverage. We came for the happy hour twice because it was right next to our AirBnB, and it was too good not to come back. We ordered the Maryland Raw Oysters, Fish Tacos, Crab Cake Sandwich, Calamari, Chicken Wings, and Captain's Platter for food. Also ordered the Berry Lemonade and Sangria for their happy hour cocktails. Food was fresh and delicious, service was friendly, and environment was fun. My favorite was the Oysters, Calamari, and Captain's Platter. I was slightly disappointed with the Berry Lemonade which was a little too sour for my taste, but the Sangria was amazing. read more

Picturesque manicured little residential neighborhood with townhomes and lots of green space to walk your dog. We had dinner here on the outdoor side patio on a Wednesday evening, our first visit to the Lewes area. We made reservations several days ahead and glad we did because all tables were full, we may have had to wait to sit outside without a reservation. Inside all the tables were full, too, and this is on a weeknight. So reservations are highly recommended. Patio is a modern rustic style with some booths and some tables, even a fire pit. We ordered a few beers, some fantastic oysters and a crab dip appetizer that came with kettle-cooked chips and was a little bland, but rich. For entrees we ordered fish and chips, fish tacos and steamed shrimp and pork dumplings that came in a delicious savory broth. The fish was lightly breaded cod. Fish tacos came with pickled onion garnish, paper-thin Brussels sprouts shavings, spicy pickled jalapeños and mayo. Fish and chips came with a fresh crunchy cole slaw and a blandish tartar sauce on the side. All were very good, not anything to knock you off your feet, but very good. Entree portions were just borderline smallish, so if you're hungry get appetizers for sure. Service was very good, these days were just happy if appetizers and entrees are spaced out and here their timing was perfect. The only reason for taking off a star, and I'm not sure it's fair since I don't know what the restaurant can do about this, but we were constantly swatting insects, especially flies, off our food and off ourselves.
