This place is such a gem! I love their meaty crabs and the friendly service. Such a great spot for a casual seafood dinner! Love it here and can't wait to come back next time we're in town.

Saw this place on TikTok for all you can eat crabs for $55 and we had to try it. They advertise that the crabs are med- large mix and unlimited hush puppies & corn on the cob. I'm not a huge hush puppy fan, but they were crispy and had good flavor. The corn on the Cob was delicious. I had 3 ears! The crabs were more medium than large but they were tasty, hot , and fresh. If you only have 2 left when you finish, you can take them home. Although I was specifically there for crabs, they have a nice selection of apps and entrees. From what I saw other customers getting I would definitely come back just to try their apps and entrees. They all looked mouthwatering.

Amazing Bloody Mary -- with crab, bacon and three olives!

Getting a table for 8 in a beach town on a Sunday might be like the Holy Grail, but after getting our name on the list, the wait wasnt even an hour. And boy that wait was soooo worth it! We had crab dip, we had mussels, we had oysters ... and the hits kept on coming! We've been comparing crab dip across Rehoboth, and sadly, this location came in last so far. The crab was lovely, but the cheddar topping was too heavy and intrusive a flavor, it took away from the crab's delicacy. The oysters were great and with two plates of mussels, one was a little heavy on the lemongrass, but both still yummy. I had a tremendous Bloody Mary that came with a scoop of crabmeat, a slice of bacon and three olives. It was good to the last drop. For me, the hit of the evening was scallops and risotto. Man-o-man! Delish! Crab legs were great and shared by all. Our server was attentive, but not intrusive, and very friendly. We all voted -- definitely worth a return visit!

This was a phenomenal experience. If you are ever visiting Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, this place is truly a must have! I was greeted warmly and seated promptly! From the first greeting, throughout the rest of the dining experience, the service was immaculate. I chose an outdoor table and enjoyed feeling the fresh ocean air hit my skin! For my appetizer, I ordered fried pickles, which were absolutely scrumptious! They were fried and seasoned to perfection, and the ranch on the side was freshly made and complimented the flavor of the fried pickles very well! I ordered a fried crab-cake sandwich for my main course, a true classic! This sandwich was off the chain! Flavor and goodness all in one! I savored each and every bite! Definitely on the list of most amazing crab-cake sandwiches that I have had. Check this place out, you will not regret it, Cheers!

Steamed Feast

I got the steamed feast which comes with clams, shrimp, lobster and snow crab legs - All absolutely phenomenal - Highly recommend!

Ok, when you're at the beach, adequate is perfectly acceptable. Haddock sandwich, the fish was fried very crispy, which was nice. OK fries. Seriously got me ready for the beach.

August 3, 2025 - Yeah, here we are back again today. My family doesn't have much creativity, but hey we liked it so much yesterday, Claws made easy to come back again. I doubled up on the sweet tea today and now it's got me all jittery and skittish. It's the perfect balance of sweet and tea, it's making me sing with glee, swing from the tallest palm tree, clothes off and I am free! Come dance with me, mockingbird, come dance. It's my stance that when I'm standing I'm more commanding of the respect I deserve, and Claws stands on business so respect them! Anyways. Instead of the Jambalaya, I want with the lobster roll today, and a saffron rice side. With the smell of the lobster, it wasn't hard to decide, I had to try it. The rice was delicious like it was last night in my jambalaya. And I'd be a liar to say if my meal wasn't even better today! Holy cowlick on my goggles, the lobster roll was so good. The lobster salad was pure perfection, not one flavor was overwhelming or more than the rest. All together the lobster, the lettuce, the dill and the mayo, aced the test. The roll was a perfect fit for this concoction, it held the meat in place so that I can place onto my taste buds. Holy sizzle, sweet holy sazoodle, and all different words that rhyme with noodle and poodle. Claws is a fan favorite, no question there. I'd slather that lobster salad all in my hair. In fact, I'm still here while posting this Yelp, maybe I'll do it! This place keeps getting better. My rating is butter. Let's go 9.25/10 and next year , we'll back again. NPSwizz August 2, 2025 - Luigi Linguini, I'm back and I'm not done talking smack. The CLAWS are coming out in this one. You're sitting there in a far off island having fun in the sun, while I'm here at the beach, so far out of reach, now let me teach you a thing or two about reviewing, no need for YouTubing. Claws was a hit from the gate. The service was great, my questions were answered with no need to wait. Wait. I'm trying to watch my weight, but I had to do it. A sweet tea, so good with a picture to prove it. Then came meal. The jambalaya was unreal, the spice was a "vibe," yeah I said "vibe" because I'm a cool guy. So cool that I say "bet." My sister's boyfriend says I'm the coolest guy he's ever met. But back to the food. My jambalaya was a jumbo success. So good that it would've knocked off my dress if I were wearing a dress. The chicken so yummy , the andouille a blessing, and I want that saffron rice at wedding. The star of the show was the shrimp for sure, and I wish there were more. I wanted more. I'm a big fat man, feed me my shrimp! I kid, I kid. Not about being fat. I'm fat. But the meal was enough. It filled me right up. I score it an 8.75/10. I'd have it again. Snow crab legs special - 2 pounds
Jodi L.

We enjoy a visit to Claws when in town. They have seating both inside and outside, which is always a welcome treat! They are always consistent with their food from year to year and we enjoy their specials. My daughter and her friend shared the 2 pounds snow crab legs special. It came with two sides and plenty of food for each of them. We always start with the hush puppies, which are crispy and flavorful and come with a great butter. My mom and I decided to split the twin lobster tails which also came with two sides. My dad got the fried oysters which he really enjoyed. I enjoyed sharing his tartar or remoulade sauce! It was briney and full of flavor! The service was good and the server checked on us multiple times. The only complaint I would have is that we were a party of five and we were charged an automatic gratuity for "a large party". She highlighted it on the bill but didn't verbally tell us that she put the charge on there. Normally, a party of eight or more are considered a large party. If you're looking for a good old seafood house, check out Claws!

This was two of each type of oyster, all fresh and delicious.

Delicious drinks, fresh crabs and oysters, and great service. They easily accommodated my friend and I with handicapped seating. The bathrooms were clean. Our waiter checked in on us just often enough.

It's a cute spot on the Main Street to get to the beach. Plenty of seating outside and inside. Food came out fast and the waitress was nice. I ordered the 2lbs crab legs (wish it had more flavor), my friends ordered the grilled salmon, & a poboy sandwich.

Logan J.

Great service. I got the AYCE Blue Crab and the runner was kind enough to show me the proper way to break down the crabs. Great seasoning and beer!

I usually like them to have a little bit more sweetness to them, but these also tasted like they stood in the fryer, a little bit too long. I ordered one of every oyster and made one an oyster shooter. The briney babe, came with a seaquench beer which was great and crisp, not too sour of a sour, had good flavor. I would order it again. The oysters I wish I had more of. They did come out, but they are a little bit smaller and for their price point without a happy hour they can be a little bit on the expensive side. Though getting an oyster shooter, you can definitely get more alcohol, but you'll have to sustain it some other food. I do love this location because it has a slightly more menu compared to the actual dog fish head brewery which has more options for cocktails, etc. Service did take a little bit, so it's better to order everything at once once you have your server.

The Ahi tuna on a fried wanton, mango, cucumber, avocado, seaweed salad, with siracha for the kick! The tuna was fresh and tender on the fried wanton was delicious. The calamari was not the best. It was mostly batter. I barely tasted the squid.each piece was small and For our main entrees we ordered the following: Crab cake dinner came with asparagus and rice. The crab cakes were big with no fillers. The rice was not fully cooked, there was still some crunch when you ate it. So we had it replaced with mash potatoes. And that was so good. Fish and chips: for the price, the 3 pieces of fish were very disappointing! There were barely any fish for the 3 pieces. It was mostly hallow in the batter. Check out my pictures. But the fries were good. Imperial flounder: three from our group ordered this. The portion was big! The flounder was soft and tender, added the stuffed crab was even better! My only issue with this was there was barely any seasoning! Which was fine in this case because we had people with high blood pressure. We had to add a little salt and pepper for some taste. Seared salmon - dinner special. My daughter had it cooked medium, but it came out a little more than medium. There was no raw pink in the middle. The salmon was good, but it came out bland with no searing. This was good too for my daughter since we don't want her to get use to eating salty food. Overall, this place is decent.

They advertised it as $10 and then called everyone that had reservations and changed it back to $15. When we arrived, the manager told us it was the advertising company not their fault. We then waited 45 minutes for our 430 reservation. There was no apology and no value given for the time wasted. Today we were given a reservation to come down for lobster roll special at 4 PM. There's a group of six of us. Four of the women are disabled. It is raining slightly not heavily, but we arrived at 3:50. The same manager came to the door and said roughly "sorry we don't open until four. I can't let you in" this despite one of the women standing in the rain with her walker. The food here is delicious. But the management is awful. It didn't used to be this way. I'm very sad to see it. I'm amending it to say our server was wonderful. His name is Jadi. He was very respectful and treated us old ladies very well.

I only had the one I paid for. There's no need to lie, bad days happen. This is not a speakeasy, this is a restaurant cosplaying as a speakeasy. That may be a bit harsh, it's a speakeasy in training. Sure, it's got all of the speakeasy decor, blackout curtains over the windows and doors, and a big selection of pedestrian liquor but it's not quite there. We went in on an early evening on Wed and there were maybe 5 other patrons in there. Our waitress was nice and brought us water to the high top. She brought us two food menus, and a specials menu. I asked for a bourbon list and she brought it; no prices on the list. Annoying. On the specials menu there was a small section of manager recommended drinks and one was a Willet. The way it was written was confusing because it said it was both a 4 year and 14 year for $52, so I asked for clarification on the age statement. She took the menu to the barkeep, who confirmed it was a 14 year so I said yes I'll have that. A drink was brought to me, but I could tell from the taste that it was not what I ordered. I asked the waitress for the bottle, she asked the guy behind the bar for the bottle and he pulled down a willet pot still bottle (pot still is the entry level Willet and at best a 5 dollar pour, no where near what I asked for). I told her that I was given the wrong drink, then she approached the bar and between her, and the male and female bartenders they had a weird back and forth conversation. Then, finally they pulled down the bottle that I asked for, that was advertised, and gave me a pour of it. I asked to see the bottle and the waitress brought it over but held it instead of putting it on the table (it was a 13 year Willet, Paper Trail). As we were about to order we were told that they reset the menu the very day before, with the focus of putting more love and care into the food. Feeling good about that, we ordered the French quarter catfish and the bourbon braised short ribs. The corn that came with the short ribs tasted straight out of a store bought steamable pouch, and the "ribs" weren't ribs at all, just sliced meat. The only redeemable thing about the catfish dish was the aioli; the rice had no flavor, the corn was cold and hard, and the catfish was mostly breading. We both took a few bites and resigned. I have been to many speakeasies around the US, and there are common themes: a much better selection of liquor; 95% of the bourbon were low tier bottles you can find in any liquor store for around $50. Also, when customers ask for the bottle, it isn't because we plan to steal it or drink from it, its because we're genuinely interested in the information on the labels. The quickest way to get people to stop spending money is to make them feel as if they can't be trusted touching a bottle. Perhaps it was an off day for the staff and this wasn't a typical experience, but I won't go back.
