My most recent experience: I typically love first watch but not this time. The service was trash, the food was mid. My drink was delicious. But I won't be back anytime soon !! Especially not to this location. It seemed like there were issues from the moment I walked in. I was greeted and seated immediately but it took longer than a few minutes for someone to take my drink order. A little while after my drink order was taken, the waiter came back to ask if I was ready to order. I told him I needed a few minutes to look at the menu. I had to wait longer than a few minutes while the waiter had a full blown conversation with a gentleman who was seated next to me so that was a little annoying. Anyway, when the waiter came back I asked for the farmhouse hash with no meat. He confirmed with me more than once on how I wanted my eggs. I said scrambled eggs when I received my plate, the eggs were poached so it was sent back and corrected. I ate my meal. It wasn't that good and I noticed a few small pieces of meat in the hash but I didn't send the plate back since I didn't notice it until I was halfway through with the meal. When I was done, I asked for the check and for some reason, I was charged twice for the hash so I tell the waiter, he apologizes and corrects the bill. Idk.. I've never had an experience like this at first watch but it was enough for me to not want to go back. The food was good but our service was slow. Unfortunately, even though he was helpful and friendly, he seemed distracted on the job. First Watch is a great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The prices are reasonable and the variety of foods makes it appealing. I usually go for brunch and order breakfast food but this time I ordered the lean turkey burger which was surprisingly good. I ordered it with a side of fresh greens which hit the spot. Make sure to jump on their wifi because the signal here is low. It wasn't too busy for a Monday afternoon so we got seated right away. It was so oily, plus the "steak" was more of a mystery meat. First time reviewing, but have been here a couple of times before. Bacado- great protein dish, just not a lot of flavor. However, the potatoes are always Eggs Benedict was good, but not great. The new thing we tried was the lemon iced cinnamon roll. Super stingy on the icing, and my preference is gooey, soft cinnamon roll. This was crisp on outside and not gooey on inside. Their juices are really good, and the superfood bowl is excellent, if looking for a healthier brekkie. Service is always iffy here, we have sat for 15 minutes until someone comes for our drink order. We arrived closer to noon and the restaurant was less than half full but the hostess asked for the name and number to enter me into the waitlist but was seated right away. Here's what I ordered for myself: **Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos: Delicious! Generally not a huge fan of chorizo but the tacos were amazing! The addition of fresh avocado slices and their housemade pico de gallo was the perfect touch! The beans on the side were also very delicious! My daughter and I were there for brunch and unfortunately encountered some unprofessional behavior from the cashier. When I asked about our wait time, she told us we could not wait inside and insisted we wait outside or in our car. I mentioned that it was hot outside, but she showed no concern and repeated that we should wait in the car. What struck me as particularly unfair was that, once we were seated, we noticed several other guests standing and waiting inside--right in front of her--without being asked to leave. She said nothing to them, which made her response to us feel inconsistent and inappropriate. I brought this to the attention of the manager at the time, but his response came across as dismissive and filled with excuses. It didn't leave me with much confidence that the issue would be addressed. I even sent a note to their customer support and received a standard reply that someone will contact me within 3 business days and it's been almost a week and no follow up at all. I hope this message brings attention to the need for more consistent and respectful treatment of all guests, and better training for the front line staff. read more

I hate leaving a 3 star review because usually I am like "This place is amazing" or "This place sucks". The food was really good. Really good. The hollandaise on my smoked salmon benedict was lemony and bright, not heavy or gloppy. The grits were special. The bloody with its slice of curly bacon was really good. Poached eggs were executed perfectly. Potatoes could've had a little more texture but that's splitting hairs. The service was not good. It was impersonal and short-sighted. Someone screwed up my entree. Nonetheless they sat my mom's down in front of her expecting that to be fine while what I actually ordered was made. I asked, " So my mom's eggs are supposed to get ice cold while she waits for my correct order to arrive?" we went back and forth but there was some sort of disconnect about having all the hot food (eggs at that) arrive at the same time. My mom was a good sport. Staff was very short on apologies. We received maybe one apology and zero inquiries about how to make it correct. The cutlery options were also insufficient. My mom had a fork with which to muscle through a ham steak. Maybe the business is brisk enough here that impoliteness and lack of hospitality is excused. But IMO there is never an excuse for giving one diner a plate of eggs to get cold while the kitchen amends an internal error. Delicious food. No matter what you request it is disregarded. If you took the microwave out of the kitchen, they would have to close the doors. The scrambled eggs are already prepped. They just simply put them in the microwave to heat up same with the bacon. The bread is slightly toasted, barely warm, the grits are soup. The positive side is the manager came over to visit when I asked the waitress about my disappointment and showed her what the items were. We politely discussed and demonstrated my disappointment. She took care of the Bill and asked that I give them a second chance I gave the generous tip to the waitress explaining it wasn't her fault. She seemed very appreciative. Did I mention the bacon was toughest beef beef jerky? I would suggest to make your order very specific. Ask them to read it back to you. Ideally, you would have a guest with you or a friend or family member keep in mind Price for what you're ordering. I've had a better experience at Waffle House. an update to my previous review a few years ago - we decided to try First Watch for brunch on our day off. i was hoping for some gluten free pancakes or waffles- but they don't offer those. they do however have the option for gluten free toast, quinoa breakfast bowls that are gluten free, and most of their omelets seem gluten free as well. they do have an allergen menu available here https://firstwatch.com/nutrition-and-allergens/ i had the upgraded egg sandwich, with gluten free bread and a side of fruit. it was ok, but nothing to write home about. next time i'll try an omelet with a side of gf toast. the presentation left a lot to be desired but us gf beggars can't be choosers i guess. they don't have any specialty hot coffees, only iced coffees. drip brew is the only hot coffee. they do not have splenda or sweet and low, only sugar and stevia. my partner had one of their fresh juices, the blue booster - which featured blueberries. it was delicious. the service was greatly improved from the last visit, although we were seated directly below a speaker that had music so loud we could barely hold a conversation. they had some gluten free goodies at the check out register too. we might try again for lunch. read more

Service was awful, waiter checked on us maybe 3 times total. We aren't high maintenance diners, but I had to ask twice for creamer and syrup (why it didn't come with the pancake meal I'm not sure). Added turkey sausage side to our meals and we received 4 links that were room temperature at best. Coffee was 3.99 for a plain cup...that's crazy to me. Food was okay, pancakes were fluffy and the quantity was large. They also accommodated our request for gluten free French toast. Most recent visit was disappointing-having lunch with a friend and I ordered a Cobb salad which according to the menu had chopped ham. When my salad came, it was very obviously chopped up lunch meat slices, not actual chopped ham. My friend had the same experience with the Quinoa bowl-instead of chopped chicken breast, it had chopped chicken lunch meat. Really feel like either they need to upgrade the offering, or be more clear on the menu that you're going to get sliced lunchmeat pieces. read more

This place was so good I visited two days in a row! The waffles were fluffy, eggs scrambled well and fresh fruits. I'd recommend skipping the potatoes next time and just getting a side of fresh fruit because they give you some good ones. The French toast was sweetened just enough and tasted delicious. Service is fine albeit a little slow. This is a constant across many different First Watch restaurants. So don't come here if you're in a rush. What isn't a constant is the quality of the food. I usually have an okay time where I finish the food at least. Nothing special or exceptional. I come here when I'm in a pinch. Plus Waffle House closed down permanently. But, today was the last time I come here just because the food was so stale. I had ordered a market hash. How is it possible to be stale with food cooked to order? The scrambled eggs don't use freshly cracked eggs anymore (or could just be this location?) It's either a premix or powdered eggs. That's a taste you cannot hide. And it was so dry! Like it had been sitting out where the edges of the egg turn transparent/ rubbery. The potatoes in the hash were varying in doneness. Some under and some over. They tasted of old oil. There were teeny pieces of zucchini and maybe 4 pieces of quartered mushrooms. What I've noticed at First Watch is they skimp on the ingredients. It's always under what you would expect to be a good serving. There was a lot of potatoes though which is fine. Also there are floaters in the water. I highly doubt it's an infused water (with lemon or something), so that just completely turned me off from eating or drinking anything. I still paid for my plate ($14.60) which I did not touch much. But I won't be returning because there are better places out there that are fresher and more affordable. read more

We usually eat here at least twice a month And it's usually great. Today was different. We ordered our usual dishes. My wife's waffle was flat and looked like it had been sitting for a while. When we told the waiter if they could get a fresh waffle, we were told they make all food fresh and don't leave food sitting. Well eventually they replaced the waffle after approximately 15 minutes. The 2nd waffle didn't look much better and was raw in the center. Hopefully this was just a bad day and not the start of declining service.
