Restaurant cold our food and coffee was cold. Potatoes were not cooked through. I ordered a Chorizo and avocado omelet. No chorizo. Only 2 little pieces of avocado. A fantastic experience! They were closing 5 minutes after we arrived. We were not rushed and were treated in an attentive and courteous manner. The food is unbelievably fresh and delicious. This was our second visit to first watch. Food is fresh and delicious every day. The bacon, avocado omelette is outstanding, along with the eggs Benedict with salmon. The coconut Chia pudding bowl is also delicious. Today we arrived at five minutes before their closing time at 2:30 PM and we were graciously invited in, seated, waited on, and enjoyed our lunch with not a hint of hurry from anyone looking to get us out of there quickly. we will definitely make this a regular stop. read more

Went back for breakfast yesterday and brought a friend and basically it was just blah . I had the Carbonara Benedict, the two slices of thick bacon that was part of the dish was about 99.3% fat and the parmesan cream was flat and didn't have any real flavor. My friend had 'The Traditional,' basic combo breakfast, when I asked how it was, she said, it was alright, nothing great about it. Maybe I'm to picky, but I know good and great food. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Couldn't get past the goofy ass host staff (all 4 of them) we put our name on the list. Then we got skipped over twice and then when we asked if we were going to get called anytime soon they didn't have any tables available. We saw people waiting in line to pay for their meal for 5+ minutes while the hosts argued amongst each other, And they weren't very polite to those people. Lots to like here with a little room for improvement. Yes it's pricey but mostly worth it. The Belgium Waffle is light and airy with a fantastic fresh yeast aroma that keeps you plowing through it. The scrambled eggs needed a little work. They came to the table like a broken yolk disaster, (half white, half yellow). Bacon was basic fare. I would expect bacon perfection at a place like this. We were visiting Longview and decided to go to this neighborhood place for brunch! This was an amazing experience. We were a big group with lot of customization... the gal who waiters for our table was amazing- I wish I remembered her name. Not a single order of food or drink was messed! The food was amazing too. Awesome little place when you got limited time to grab some quality lunch. Ideal location and you're in and out in a flash. I was in a time crunch and needed to grab a friend some lunch quickly. As soon as I walked into the place, I got a huge warm welcoming. I know, I know, it's the south -- but seriously they were great! The atmosphere was enjoyable it was like if you slammed Starbucks deli or Panera with some Texas Charm. I'd recommend their signature sandwich, it's called the Rooster. The last 2 times eating at this establishment were beyond bad service. Aprox 6 months ago a friend and I had breakfast there. The waitress wouldn't return to correct the missing items on our orders and to refill our coffee. I found out that First Watch used bottle hillandaise sauce which was like colored water. Theyomitted the avocados as well. Management was of little help. Ultimately the food was substandard and the service was terrible. I returned recently again thinking that maybe things had improved. I was wrong. The waitress walked away while I was placing my order and the manager defended her behavior stating that she was doing her job. So it seems that bad service is the standard there. Will never return again or recommend this place to anyone ever. Also I wasn't able to contacted corporate customer service about the first experience. read more

Below average at best. Popped in for a quick breakfast, waited 15 minutes for a server to come our way. Great opportunity to complete some basic customer care training by greeting your customers and telling them your name. Epic fail, none of the above. Didn't offer any straws for the drinks either, had to ask for that. No check back once the food came either. Food was ok, service was sub-zero. Far and away the best brunch place I've been too! The presentation of the food is beautiful, the prices are great, and the staff is so nice! Our waiter was Mason and he was great, very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed! I have never left here unsatisfied and will keep going back for the great food and atmosphere! P.S. Hostess was indifferent. Coffee in thermos was lukewarm. No half and half in the creamer bowl, only French vanilla. No water served. Waffle arrived and was not even warm enough to melt the whipped butter. Grease had re-congealed on the "crispy" bacon. Waiter did not serve the food and did not reappear until my husband was finished. Response was "Sorry about the waffle." Hostess who is also cashier took our payment without saying a single word. While we were eating I watched our waiter wipe down furniture in another section of the restaurant. He wiped off chairs and chair legs, something off of the floor and then the chair seats all withe the same rag and then walked back to the kitchen and immediately brought out an order. I am glad it was not mine as he certainly did not have time to wash his hands. Disgusting and willNever go there again. read more

The menu here is exceptional with respect to variety, healthy choices. A tad expensive but the chef does a great job of flavored and creative blending of ingredients. The service is good as well. What I find distracting is the noise level in the open room. The restrooms are messy and the stall doors need cleaning. The silverware is always spotty and appears unwashed. Lee our server was very nice but didn't bring the correctly cooked replacement eggs until I had completely finished eating the rest of my Trifecta and I am a very slow eater, so It was a ridiculous amount of time. I specifically asked for over medium eggs and please make sure that the white was cooked and not runny. When I cut into the white a runny milk looking fluid flowed out it. I have never had whites cooked so little that a white watery fluid flowed out. It really grossed me out and left me scrambling to soak up the little river so that it didn't get into my pancake and bacon. I paid extra for the lemon ricotta pancake but it looked and tasted like the regular pancake with some lemon curd plopped on top on top. I tasted no ricotta. I tasted no lemon flavor in the pancake. My bacon was perfectly crisp but had no bacon flavor which really surprised me because the chalkboard stated "Millon Dollar Bacon". My father was disappointed in his meal as well. My husband liked his hash but stated that his bacon had no flavor. When I paid for the food the lady asked how our meal was. I explained why we were disappointed and she answered "Well we got one out of three". read more
