This is my favorite breakfast place, we go almost every Saturday morning. This is also my favorite location, a lot bigger than the Jupiter location. The food is always delicious and I'm never disappointed. The pancakes are huge and everything else is a good sized portion. The Floridian French toast is amazing! The staff was so helpful, calm and knowledgeable! Also a wonderful Good Samaritan that knew what he was doing and honestly saved her life. On Sat March 7 my friends took me to First Watch in Stuart for a birthday breakfast. The avocado toast was so fresh and delicious. My GF friend was thrilled to be able to have French toast on GF bread. Best of all, the service was top notch! We had a waiter named Connor who was really "on his game". He was attentive and accommodating. He joked that he would sing Happy Birthday to me if I wanted, but he couldn't carry a tune. He offered to give me a to-go cup to finish my coffee. I went to this location about a month ago. The food was very bland and their ingredients were not very fresh as other reviewers have noted. Even with that, the food here is not the biggest problem. It's the atmosphere. To start, walking up, the place looks like where you would go to give a urine sample or have blood drawn. My friend was committed to going though. As soon as I walked through the door I realized it was going to be a rough meal. All the tables were packed full and, besides waitstaff, there wasn't a soul below the age of 70. My friend and I got the retiree stink eye the entire time we were there, mind you we are late 30s/early 40s not teenagers or children. It was very awkward and uncomfortable. I did ask if we were intruding on a group luncheon or some other special function type deal and was assured that this was just the normal crowd. Yikes... I ordered some omelette off the menu and some fruit. The omelette was completely forgettable if not a little rubbery. I don't recall what all toppings it was supposed to have, but I do remember that only about half of them made it on. The fruit was gross. There was a spot of mold on the strawberries and whatever else was there had the 3 days past it's prime slime going on. My friend had a sandwich and mentioned the bread could have been used to pave a sidewalk. At no point in the meal did we see salt, pepper, ketchup, or utensils despite asking multiple times for all of them. The waitress gave our check to someone else and was a little put out that we turned down her solution of just paying for the other table's meal to "make it even". Uh no, our check was like 25$ there's was over 60$. She honestly couldn't understand the problem and went from inattentive to outright rude. Between the hostile stares and the waitress asking us, twice, if we were done yet; we just paid some check that was close to what ours should have been (who knows whose it was) and left. Two stars because, not gonna lie, it's not the absolute worst place I've eaten since moving to South Florida. read more

First a shout out for the call ahead waitlist feature on Yelp. It worked great. I had only a two minute wait when I arrived even though there was an otherwise long line of people waiting (who had not used the call ahead feature). Whenever I've been to either the Jupiter or Stuart locations, the food is consistently good and the service is friendly. The menu is pretty extensive and over several visits I've tried a variety of breakfast or lunch items. A couple of things I've gotten in the past that have been really good are the grilled veggie sandwich for lunch and the avocado toast for breakfast. These days, I usually look for an eggless breakfast and often end up with a granola, fruit and yogurt bowl. For this visit, I ordered the "superfood" bowl which featured a chia tapioca (rather than yogurt). It was all yummy. My two companions ordered a traditional breakfast and the chocolate chip pancakes. Whatever bread they use for toast tastes really good. We all left happy. read more

Our first time visit to First Watch was a complete success! We were greeted immediately at the front door and seated at a roomy booth, our drink order was also served promptly. The menu looks very inventive and there is something here for everyone, if you aren't opposed to meat consumption....try the million dollar bacon, WOW! There were 3 of us and we all had something different, soups were piping hot and delicious, sandwiches are served with nice presentation and more importantly, fresh tasty ingredients. Our server was attentive without being intrusive and the manager, Keith was kind enough to stop by and make sure we were satisfied....which we absolutely were....a great big bonus is leaving a nice hot pot of coffee on the table so you can heat up as you like. Our first time and won't be our last! We love checking out new eateries and diners in Stuart and this was exceptional! Nestled away in a shopping plaza off Federal Hwy in Stuart, First Watch welcomes you with an innovative and traditional feel. Old farmhouse decor and open-seated this place is quite comfortable and has plenty of seats. We arrived around 1:30PM an hour before closing and were warmly welcomed by the staff and seated right away. We started off with a fresh juice called, Morning Meditation a blend of beets, orange and ginger juice only for $3.99. We ordered 2 cups of coffee and were given a whole carafe for the table which was nice to not have to ask for refills especially when you're an avid coffee drinker. Next we ordered our dishes, The Farmhouse Skillet and Sausage/Egg protein bowl. The portions were generous and the eggs were perfectly over easy and fresh, so good!! My husband and I LOVE this restaurant for breakfast/brunch. They're only open until 2pm so make it there on time! Usually the weekends is pretty packed but we've never had to wait too long to get a table. I have ordered the same thing every time (and have been there about 10 times!) - the veggie skillet with scrambled eggs on top. It's consistently good, fresh, and flavorful. My hubby likes the Bacado and Greek Omelette. The servers are friendly and the bright and cheery setting makes you wake up with your cup of coffee and a newspaper or good conversation with friends. I highly recommend this place for a weekend breakfast with friends. We had first tried it on one of our trips to Kansas City, MO and we had loved it so, imagine our surprise and happiness when we found one here. Kinda far but we don't mind the drive every now and then. First watch is awesome, the place is adorable with it's display of food cartons in the kitchen, their huge (chalk written) menu board and the food and service are wonderful. Kelly took very good care of us and was very pleasant when hubby turned back his food because it was not cooked to his liking. The setup is kind of like IHOP, but with a more 'trendy' menu. It's part of some sort of chain that does a rewards club, so I think that explains the vibe. If you've been to Berry Fresh Cafe this is a bit of a step down in quality. Decent selection of 'healthy' options. Service was quick and friendly. Prices are on point with what you get in return. I agree with other reviewers that this is not the place to go for "fine dining," but it is a step up from Denny's or Ihop, and if you aren't looking for fancy, this place fits the bill. DO NOT ORDER FOR DELIVERY!!!! The First Watch website says they deliver however the first time I ordered I never received the food and it took me 3 weeks of several calls to management to get my money back. Then I tried it again, this time calling them 30 minutes before it was to be delivered to make sure my food was coming, and was first told " We Don't Deliver" I then explained that I ordered on "THEIR" website, and asked to speak to a manager. The manger told me they had no such order, and he did not know if it would be coming in or not. He said they use several different third party companies and had no idea how to help me. 9.30 came (The delivery Time scheduled) and still no food. I called back and again was told there was no order, and asked them to please make the food and I would pick it up. When I arrived and called to let them know I was there in "Curbside Pickup", I was told they don't have curbside pick-up. I then explained that Im in a blue truck parked in the parking spot in front of the restaurant which is marked with a bug banner " First Watch Curbside Pick-up", so then said ok and hung up. 20 minutes later someone came out and brought me the food with saying a word at all. We are in town for a wedding and didn't want ihop or Denny's. We looked up places to have breakfast on here and now I am glad we did. We ate here both yesterday and today and will again tomorrow before we catch the plane home. Their breakfast is amazing and their wait staff are friendly and helpful. Who can resist a healthier twist on all the classics. I had the bacado omlette yesterday with cheese, bacon and avocado and fresh pico. It was very good. My husband had the Monte cristo which was like french toast with ham and turkey with a berry dipping sauce. And today I got the breakfast scramble and he got the swisshroom.
